How are you pal, I have seen a lot of videos how-to, DIY with motorcycles and vehicles I have to admit your video is the most effective I have ever seen on TH-cam, great job thank you very much!! Totally deserves a subscribe!!
To make it really easy, use an oil extractor. They work great with the J35 engine. The tube goes all the way to the bottom of the oil pan and you get all the old oil out. You don’t have to worry about replacing the crush washer or stripping the threads on the oil pan. Also apiece of aluminum foil over the subframe makes for easy clean up.
Awesome video I'm going to do this myself. Last time I change my own car was back in the 80's oldschool..LOL....It's a sense of pride and accomplishment & save money,.
Great video tutorial. I have a 2018 Q5 and am considering maybe getting a 2017 or 2018 RDX. Is it a reliable car? Is it fun to drive? Can you give me a owner's review pros and cons?
Directions on all oil filters state fill oil filter prior to attaching. Without doing so 1st start is dry..think about were initially oil comes from cycles from "filter".
0w20 only good to 75f , any one in hot climates using something heavier? I got my answer, found a video stating it's ok to go down in winter or up in summer viscosity. Can't go down from 0 but just got some 0W30 for summer.
Hello my friend! This isn’t an oil question but, I have a 2004 TSX and both my front wheels are leaking power steering fluid like crazy. What would you recommend I check or is this too complex to handle alone? Thank you. And love your videos!🙏
I would have hit the like button but you omitted two very important steps. One is putting a little oil in the new oil filter and the other is rubbing a little bit of that oil on the rubber ring of the new oil filter. Inexcusable and negligent.
No fluff. No filler. No pointless blathering. Mad respect for respecting your audience!
I hear blathering at the beginning of video
Love that he gets right to the point!…so many videos out there that take forever with their introductions.
THAT, was the best educational video I've ever seen for anything ever. Wow, that was impressive.

Thank you, exactly what was needed.
Hello
Great video!!! Thank you.
I was wondering is there anyway to get better MPG on the RDX?
Lightly step on the gas pedal. Cruise at 55-65mph on the highway. 18mpg is my average. Not great, but not bad.
@@GTContenttrue. If I go 55-60 on highway I can get up to 28 mpg at best and about 22 on average. For city I'm about 18
You covered everything and more
Thanks for the video!
Torque spec on oil drain bolt? Also don't forget to prefill your new oil filter with some oil.
40nm or 30ft-lb. But this video is geared towards people who don’t have a torque wrench. I agree with putting oil in the filter first.

Thank you for such a great video.
Excellent video...thank you!
Where can I find a hydraulic jack Life the one featured?
Great Video. I was wondering if my 2018 which I believe is a 2nd gen all came with the 6-speed transmission and have you done a drain and fill video?
Yes, all have 6-speed automatic.
@@GTContent I think he wants you to make a video of the tranny drain and fill, if you don't mind thank you!
We like to learn from professionals😊
Quality content.
Have you replace the timing belt tensioner on your RDX? My has 62K miles I have to replace it already
Perfect youtube video!
💥You guys think Amsoil oil is better or Mobile 1🤔great video👌
Amsoil is better but Mobil 1 products are cheaper especially when Mobil 1 has annual email in rebate visa cards.
@@xxraverxxonxtacy 💢MOBILE 1 IS GOOD BUT I'LL NEVER SWITCH FROM AMSOIL😎

Needs to use oem Honda oil filter
I have and Acura Rex 2018 since oil change are sky high do I need like a additive to put on oil or that’s not needed ?
No additive is needed.
hello, i have a 2017 acura mdx, so used only 0w20 type oil, how often do i change the oil? 5000 or 10,000 miles thank you very much
I prefer 2k-3k. I don't like my oil getting contaminated. It's up to the owner though.
Good day sir. How can I get this vehicle. I like the vehicle
Thank you sir
can you do transfercase oil change for 2016 awd rdx please
I just did that n my 2016, it's easier than an oil change believe it or not.
You'll find one on TH-cam

Acura dealer wand $89 for this
