Ay yo también veía ese anunció y sentía mucha emoción, así conocí la canción y siempre me gustó, pero a mi yo pequeña se le hacía tan inmenso e imposible vivir ese momento como la gente de la tele. Hasta que en 2019 si mal no recuerdo Tame Impala vendría al corona capital GDL, solo compré el boleto por ellos ni le di importancia a quien más estaría, fui sola y llegué como dos horas antes directo al escenario donde se presentarían ya solo a esperar, para mi sorpresa la banda antes que ellos era Phoenix, fue un show súper bonito y cuando tocaron esta canción me acorde de mi yo pequeña, si le contará que estaba sola, escuchando esta canción a solo 6 personas de distancia de Phoenix, con toda la emoción que veía en la tele, seguramente me vería como un ídolo jaja es una tontera, pero es el lado lindo de crecer y poder cumplirse las fantasías que teníamos de niños.

You don't need any narrative/dialogue/hand-holding for this video to hit a deep nerve in your soul...almost brings me to tears every-fucking-time I watch it. This song shows that, although we may live on opposite sides of the world, on complete opposite sides of the culture spectrum, there will always be those basic human emotions that we all experience no matter what country we call home, no matter what era we live in, since the dawn of time... one of the greatest music videos I've ever seen

To me this song is about that feeling when you feel so much love and attraction for someone and that person feels the same way for you but neither of you dare to make the first step, so you'd rather be alone...
For those who didn't understand, this world is not yours to conquer, oh, wrong show. Anyway, I’ll explain the clip, from my point of view.
The clip depicts entertainment, and how people's lives shape around it. Whether talking about war, fun, history, or how people come together to entertain themselves.
The question is, "what to talk about entertainment and people?". Both really have a relationship, since the beginning, entertainment has a relationship with humans, as clouds have with the sea, producing rain, producing lakes, ponds, puddles of water.
And what to say, exactly about this relationship. I would point out that in the past, it was said, "this one was born to be a teacher", now it is said, "this one was born to be an actor, singer, poet", professions debated about its relevance, but that is the point, the degree of importance of entertainment.
The entertainment was created, the primary needs were to copulate, eat, make physiological needs, sleep, among other things, the most important, but with the entertainment, the importance of things and people, it has a different proportion.
One famous person is more famous than another, a certain profession is more sought after than another, a certain place is more visited than another. People do things to entertain themselves and arrest others to achieve that goal.

If you want to know if there are people in the entertainment, listen to Bruce Lee, be like water, always on the move, if you want to see life outside of entertainment, be like the air, invisible and wise.

I heard this at the end of Now You See Me. And new it was Phoenix. Loving this tune
It is an epic mosaic of Culture and Romance woven through a series of poignant yet inspiring vignettes. Its opening scene introduces important characters and their relation to each other. Purple jacket is the composer of the song which will be performed by the long haired man and the women next to him is his agent or assistant of some sort who obviously has feelings for him. The beautiful fantasy of a couple learning ancient skills (cross bow, horse back riding)----

when i watch this song, i get sucked in by the video. when i hear this song, i think of the video. i'm still putting pieces together. but either way, i can't help but feel sad.
One love story ends to unite 2 people who have constantly missed their chance to be together through time, all the characters in the video are related in some way, the officer and the lady from the beginning are people who love each other but apparently never sealed the deal and he dies before they can, meanwhile the other guy saves the girl he loves and they get together. He made a move so they lived. He overcame the repeating phrase, "I'd rather be alone" and saved her and finally they connected across time and hardships.
It's sad but a lot of times this stuff happens irl all over the world.
