"Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" was one of the coolest albums I had a chance to listen to in my youth! I'm more than grateful to fascinating Phoenix, for their music! Sending huge love and respect to the band and all the fans of the band from all around the world!
This song had a huge impact on me in middle and high school years. I’m now in my mid 20’s and the wave of happy memories have washed over me. Thank you phoenix.
2009 was an amazing year. I work in advertising and it was a lot of location jobs that year, with a lot of long drives to and from work with an amazing group of fun and creative people. 1901 was ubiquitous and on everyone's playlists. This was before social media and over sharing. It was great to live in LA at that time. It's all gone now, but it's great to look back and be grateful to have had those years.
i feel that.. though i was still a kid in those times thinking it's going to be so fun to be a creative person as an adult. then the economy slowly crashed covid happened and yea social media sucks
Me and my mom were OBSESSED with this song cause it was on a car commercial. I remember waking up one morning for school and right as i came out of my room, the video premiered on VH1. We sat there and sang along to the whole song before taking me to school that morning, great memory.
They played this on the rooftop of a club I went to when i first turned 21 a couple years ago and man the vibes were just amazing. Everyone was jumping so much the floor was flexing. Been looking for the name of this song for like two years and just found it again.
Several years ago a friend of mine told me this was their favorite song. I don't come here often, but when I do, I get reminded of what was mainly in my head at the time-nothing but fun and adventures.

I'm sure I've heard this song somewhere, a few years back. But of course I was young, and I had no idea who Phoenix were and what nostalgia was. But right now, as a depressed 22 y.o adult, I finally understand it, the nostalgia and memories songs like these evoke. And I just wanna go back to those simpler, carefree times.
Pas de fans français ici? Je vous ai découverts il y a quelques semaines au Gala des Pièces Jaunes, et depuis je passe en boucle tous vos albums. Enorme coup de foudre. Please, un vrai concert en France 🙏
Because all the mainstream media brainwashed you to listen Taylor Swift, Drake, Bruno Mars and many artists that are tied contracts to big studios. It's all the U.S. marketing here. By the time you are realized, there are many artists outside of US that are much more creative.
When I tell u I LOVE this song. I legit lost the song & could only remember the lyrics Fallin' Fallin. Found it tonight discovered the lyrics r Fold in none the less I will remember it now & put it on repeat 😊😊😊
I heard this song for the very first time 14 years ago in 2009, I was in 6th grade and was only 11, I’ll never forget. It was a on a car commercial, I was in my room and heard it from the living room so I ran out and went straight to the computer and my mom helped me find this song. After all these years I still get the same feeling. Actually more so now, I can go back to how I felt then and what was going on around me and how bright the world was. I miss it so much, I’ll be 27 in a few days and I’m upset at how fast time goes. I’ve lost a lot of people I love along the way but one day I’ll be gone too and until then ima keep blasting this song. Much love everyone ❤️
I remember when Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix was the first album I bought when I was a kid (this album came out when I was in middle school) and they killed it at the closing ceremony, they sound AMAZING still.
Coachella back when. Placed on a friends shoulders watching these guys perform. The sun was starting to go down. Concert experience will never forget. This was a fun year!!!!
Lmao!!! No drugs on my end. Just high on life. Some friendsies (on the other hand) were definetly on shtuff 😆 one dude got lost one night and slept on a rich persons glamping set up. Thought maybe he died. Next day saw him back at our campground *pizzah in hand. Bizarre adventure. Not sure what he took.
I remember playing this song everytime I went hiking, especially when I use to go hiking up Haiku Stairs (Stairway To Heaven) brings back good memories. Now the government wants to remove the stairs wtf! Help save Haiku Stairs and let's get it reopened to the public.
Let's be real this is for the old indie heads who were just trying to find chill music! We partied and this is always been a banger from the Summer 🥰🤤😁😊😉💗🥳it's a party.
Wow, just wow. Growing up listening to genres on the opposite end of the spectrum i.e. BTNH, Tupac, Xzibit, etc.. to listening to stuff like this on my college commute because my weirdo buddy liked this genre and now realizing I missed this without knowing I missed it until hearing it today. Just wow.
Tell Connor Hall I pray for her every time I think of her, she’s my Token friend 💐💐💐 and her Dad was one of the greatest Fathers I ever met in my lifetime. Thank you for your service, kind Sir. - 😉❤🇺🇸

can't be the only one thinking Phoenix killed it at the Paris 2024 closing ceremony.
I finally found them here,

Definitely did!
Man they stole the show , they were just so good and so cool , effortless and will have done great for their streaming numbers and well deserved
Yeah, except for the strangely anti-christian vibe of the ceremony, it was pretty lit.
@@awesomepsume In what way anti-Christian?

Fucking great band. So glad they got a resurgence from the Olympics! More people need to know about them!
Salut ! We need a gig outside of the festival here in Brazil! 50 minutes isn't nearly enough Phoenix for us, we've been hungry for it, guys :'(
This song is 100% early REM... high-energy banger with indecipherable, nonsense lyrics... love how alt-rock just keeps on

For a minute thought I couldn't tell how to fall out

Lie down you know it's easy
Like we did it over summer long
And I'll be anything you ask and more

My absolute favorite band and song. After I relearned to walk I had to lose weight and this song was my favorite.
I've only recently taken an interest in this band; seeing a music video for this song being just now released is epic
Vivid memories of attending their concert in Kansas city with my pregnant girlfriend, our daughter is 9 now. 🙂
