Can these type of fans explode? I've heard using them for powder coating. Can make then ignite & explode. That's my main concern with this type of setup
Box fans are brushless motors and they do not have steel blades to introduce sparks. to 'explode" powder you must introduce a significant cloud of powder into a confined environment and then introduce a source of ignition. Think spraying a cloud of powder into a cardboard box and then igniting. when using the Benchtop Powder Booth the filter and Filter Tack Spray capture the overspray and eliminate the "cloud" of powder, thus eliminating the risk of explosion.
Gun wise either the PCS-250 www.eastwood.com/pcs250-dual-voltage-hotcoat-powder-gun.html or 100kV www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-100kv-powder-coating-system.html
Is it April fools day? I have a cardboard box, fan and that exact furnace filter in my basement. Now you’re selling toaster ovens? Very confused based on the quality of the products you usually sell.
Be careful. If you criticize them, they will delete your comments. Just like they did to me when they had a confusing video misleading you into thinking they sold LED lights for vintage Volkswagens. Ended up being an under hood work light.
You're welcome to powder coat however you'd like, we've highlighted using old consumer ovens in the past. We're simply providing dedicated solutions to those that want them.
Pickup the BenchTop Powder Coating Booth Here: bit.ly/3UcMnQ0

What would you suggest for powder coating wheels

Fan not included :(
Unfortunately adding the fan would raise the price significantly and add shipping costs - so we opted to leave that part to you.
Looks like a standard box fan that can be purchased anywhere. A lot of people probably have the fan already.
It absolutely is - we got ours for $20 at a local hardware store. We mention that in the video as well.

We're not trying to mislead anyone but we do moderate comments if they're off topic, contain profanity, or are inaccurate.
Perhaps I was over critical in my initial response but I have very limited workspace. I just don’t see this as a value add to my work environment.
It's not always how much you spend on tools, it's how you use what you have.
