Never flown on the last row. The only bad thing I can see to that is that you won't be able to choose the meal. Most probably you will have just one option. Also for disembarking... you will be the last...

Airlines usually offer very nice fares for flights starting in Vienna. The same for Oslo and Stockholm. Don't ask me why, but that's how it works. Thart's why many flights end/start there in lots of Trip Reports.
For flights within Europe, Edelweiß offers a great product in Business Class. The food is great, the service very friendly, I always try to book them when I go to the Canary Islands once or twice a year.
I flew Swiss for the first time in July. Oslo to Zurich, and Zurich to Singapore. Crew very professional, food quality very good. I would fly them again. I was using points redemption, and very keen to try a European carrier as opposed to an Asian carrier for the Europe to Asia sector

at 17:29 you mention that you head east to be able to overfly the mountains. You never have to cross the Alps when flying from ZRH to eg. SFO so you don't neet to overfly the mountains. This departure procedure/route is very common due to the route/traffic/weather conditions.
I love watching your videos, even though I might not be interested in the airline... but LHG seem to be making strides in their service since Covid ended! When will your flight on the A346 be? I will also be on it and hopefully your video comes out before my trip!

Why u call it 'new' SWISS? It is still the usual, average product in my opinion. 1) the seat is narrow AF, thus uncomfortable. 2) the second meal should be a full hot meal rather than a snack.

No, I wanted to write international. International means between nations, between countries, which is exactly what I wanted to write. (Particularly those not in the Schengen area for this terminal).
Ist einfach schon viel zu eng in der Eco, weshalb wir uns immer Business auf Langstrecke gönnen. Ausserdem finde ich die 777 sehr laut. A340 und A330 sind viel angenehmer, wenn auch älter.
Very nice report. I really dislike the business cabin connected with the premium in one open space. If you fly business, you want privacy and this gives you none. Very strange and that would put me off from booking Swiss.
What do you mean back? Still the same. Moreover I hate their economy class. They charge premium prices yet they squeeze you into 10 abreast in their 777 when some others have only 9 abreast.

Swiss is became a real bad lufthansa company unfortunately. I really dislike their cabins on long haul aircrafts and the service which became so German like. I miss the Swissair old time.
I don't think they are a bad airline... but there is certainly a big room for improvement. In the old times every airline was much better... but the prices were also much higher... :))

Looks like you were on HB-JNA. A month before you did I took the opposite route (SFO-ZRH) on the exact same plane.

Not all 787's are dash 9's! The two you pointed out at VIE (Eva Air & Etihad) are both 787-10's. Nice trip report!

When getting to the central galley aren't there curtains blocking you or is it just open access?
Usually there are curtains, but you can go there with no problem.
Crew is usually on the back galley.

I don't know but if they can coppy lufthansa for their a350 than why doesn't lufthansa coppy swiss for it's planes.
I would sayvthe SWISS A350 will be better than the Lufthansa ones (except those with Allegris cabin)
Why don’t you check out Air India’s brand new Airbus A350 900 from Delhi to London or Dubai

Why u call it 'new' SWISS? It is still the usual, average product in my opinion. 1) the seat is narrow AF, thus uncomfortable. 2) the second meal should be a full hot meal rather than a snack.
Well, I've been flying long-haul for th elast 4 years and I've seen all this airlines going to the very bottom in everything of the service because of the pandemic. Then, when they were making profits, they refused initially to recover the service... and they are now slowly comming back to what they were in 2019.
The second meal should have been a full meal, I agree 100%.

No, I wanted to write international.
International means between nations, between countries, which is exactly what I wanted to write. (Particularly those not in the Schengen area for this terminal).
Ist einfach schon viel zu eng in der Eco, weshalb wir uns immer Business auf Langstrecke gönnen. Ausserdem finde ich die 777 sehr laut. A340 und A330 sind viel angenehmer, wenn auch älter.

Very nice report. I really dislike the business cabin connected with the premium in one open space. If you fly business, you want privacy and this gives you none. Very strange and that would put me off from booking Swiss.

What do you mean back? Still the same. Moreover I hate their economy class. They charge premium prices yet they squeeze you into 10 abreast in their 777 when some others have only 9 abreast.

Swiss is became a real bad lufthansa company unfortunately. I really dislike their cabins on long haul aircrafts and the service which became so German like. I miss the Swissair old time.
I don't think they are a bad airline... but there is certainly a big room for improvement. In the old times every airline was much better... but the prices were also much higher... :))
Please suggest ways that can improve the Swiss airline experience. They withdraw from west Africa, many years ago. We need them, back !!!
