Stunning that you had a full flight. With the departure at that hour, it would have been too early for connecting passengers from east of the Rocky Mountains.
United uses Honolulu as a hub for flights to Australia, New Zealand and the south Pacific. I suspect a good chunk of those passengers were continuing on from there.
Looks like a fantastic way to fly to Hawaii. The announcements were kind of annoying, but everything else seems like a vast improvement from before the pandemic.
Occasionally that flight you took can be booked for a lower price in Polaris, but not during spring/summer/fall. One thing that bothers me on daytime flights, especially during a beautiful weather day such as was the case for this flight, is when people try to close the shades and make a dark cabin. Our society has become a bunch of vampires. I love how you take the time to appreciate the world around you.
Love your vids! But in 2:30 it’s not a 200ER but a 300ER. You can see by looking at the length and at the doors, the 300ER has 5 doors on one side and the 200ER has 4. But Very nice video!
Ahh, San Francisco International Airport in Millbrae, California; a straight shot from U.S. 101... Have been in that airport 4ish times and things have changed. My most recent solo trip was a Red Eye from San Francisco International Airport (Millbrae, California) back to Detroit Metro Airport (Romulus, Michigan); boy, I managed to stay awake as I didn't want to sleep due to my 1st attempt flying as a passenger on a Red Eye flight (our flight left at 1:30 AM EDT and we touched down at 6:30 AM).
I'm not a fan at all of the red-eye flights for obvious reasons... Those videos wouldn' be watched by almost nobody... But if you manage to sleep during the flight, red-eye flights might be an amazing option for regular passegners :)

Interesting that UA offers the same amenities, minus the pajamas, for short haul Polaris service as it does for the long haul flights. DXB-EWR in Polaris is my favorite flight because it means I’m getting out of the desert for a while.
@@OnBoardHD EK prices on the same route to NYC vs. UA are eye-wateringly more expensive. I've been in the UAE for 13 years, & I have never set foot on an EK aircraft because of their ridiculous biz class prices. Its 20K AED on EK to get back home to NYC for National Day weekend, but for the same seat you just showed in this vid, DXB-EWR on UA is priced at 13K AED. Big difference. I also have a higher status with UA, so one more DXB-EWR round trip this year gives me Premier 1K for all of 2025, and a bunch more Plus Points, all of which I can then use to fly my typical 3 yearly DXB-EWR round trips in Polaris for premium econ fares throughout 2025.

You try running an airline as big as united, its not as easy as changing a light bulb it takes years for airlines to change even basic things due to cost, maintenance and overhaul capability
Hands down, United is my favorite Airline when traveling to the Hawaiian Islands. 🌺 I have departed from SFO, HOU, DEN, LAX, SLC, ORD, SEA, ATL and PDX.
This was my first time travelloing on a proper United Polaris cabin and I must say it was amazing! The catering could be better? Yes, it could. But the whole experience was fantastic. :)
This looks really good! That breakfast looked amazing, one of the best I've seen tbh. Seat looked great too. We fly United next year, just economy but looking forward to it. You can't beat those views of San Francisco, love it there! Honolulu remains on the bucket list!

En tema de aeropuerto de conexión, Doha, Estambul y Abu Dhabi están muy por encima de las demás. ✈️✈️

I like a lot of planes are adding shoulder harnesses.

Airlines in the US will never learn and will never improve. Serving welcome drink in a plastic cup in business class is SAD.

Según precios y horarios, con 1 escala, las opciones que barajo:
Emirates, vía Dubai.
Qatar, vía Doha.
Etihad, vía Abu Dhabi.
Turkish, vía Estambul.
KLM, vía Amsterdam.
AirFrance, vía París.
Otras opciones como: Lufthansa, Singapure Airlines, China Eastern, Thai o Swiss, salían muy caras.

Si lo que valoras mas es la comodidad, Emirates en sus A380. Si es el catering, entonces Emirates o Qatar. Si valoras el avión como tal, tal vez el 747/a380 de Lufthansa. KLM está bien. AF ni la consideraría en economy. Turkish si es en el A350 tambièn es muy buena opción.
En tema de aeropuerto de conexión, Doha, Estambul y Abu Dhabi están muy por encima de las demás.
