Thanks! I plan on shooting the part 2 this weekend. I just finished the last couple parts and have everything situated in what I think are the best places.
Which Kelly Controller did you use? I know the KVD7212NX Controller for the razors say they're 48-72v compatible but did you have any issues runnin that 60v surron battery with that Kelly controller?
@@ChaseWorks wow that's crazy because I'm gona go with the same setup. I'm lucky enough to get a 60v surron battery from a friend of mines for cheap$$ but I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to go with a Amazon Kit for less $$$ or the Elecro & Company Kelly Controller kit they have for these razor bikes
Good question. I think it’d work but you could burn stuff up pretty quick. People add a battery and over volt to 48v pretty commonly. 60 would be really really pushing the limits.
@@JJCUNSC the surron controller is locked to the surron motor. They’ve made it that way. I BELIEVE the stock razor controller would also be locked to the razor motor. If changing the motor you would need a diff controller. I like the Kelly. You don’t have to order through electro & co.. you could piece by piece do the motor, controller, connectors and such but if you can afford the extra it sure makes it convenient. They’ll also go ahead and pigtail the harness wires to fit a surron battery instead of a xt60 connector or such
@@ChaseWorks this helped alot, thanks. I upgraded my surron and have the extra battery, I was gonna put it either on a rsf650 or mx500. I've never seen the battery on an rsf tho so not sure if it will fit.
How do we get ahold of you on Instagram or Facebook? I have a quick question about a similar project and if you’re a paintball guy I’m sure I can send something your way as a thank you. -Dan Holliday in Tampa, FL
@@ChaseWorks I have a 60V 30000 Mah Lithium pack, but when I hook it up to the bike. I turn the key on and in about 5 seconds it goes from 60volts displaying and immediately loses all its voltage
@@ChaseWorks if you play paintball competitively hit me up sometime if you ever need anything. Looks like you had a LUXE mat on your bench top so I kind of assumed
Where did you get the connector for the battery to the controller?
How did you hook up the Battery Talaria wants 130$ for a new battery connector 😢
what type of speed and range do you get with this complete setup??
What is the top speed you can hit using Sur-Ron battery? Also, can you limit the top speed using the Kelly controller?
Believe it was 42 but I’ll put out a new video soon and do a speed test.
Yes you can limit with Bluetooth aftermarket piece.
Does the mx650 have the same space as the sx500 to fit surron battery?
Mx650 is slightly smaller
@@ChaseWorksdid you ever find out if it fits
Real nice, really like your build

@@ChaseWorks definitely will be watching, check out my build if you got time :)
Do you still have the original motor and speed controller and if so are you selling them
I do have both. I’d be willing to sell sure
Strange we have the same dlx luxe desktop pad
what controler did u use?
@@noahcook-e6s it was electro & co’s
Where did you get the batery and all of that stuff for the bike?
Battery came from a stock surron x.
The motor, controller and throttle came from electro&co website. Sold as a kit.

No issues at all, I’ll have to double check the model for you.
Still runs great today.

Could you do this with the surron battery and controller, and stock razor motor?

@@ChaseWorks so I guess my next question would be, do you need the kelly controller? Would a sur ron controller and a 5kw motor work better?

Could you pass a link. Where did you buy the complete kit?
Absolutely.

Where did u get the battery cable & the connector cap?
I got them from electro&co
Why the surron battery and do you have a link to it?
I used my stock 60v surron battery because I have a different one. It was that or sell it.
where did you get your light from
Stock surron light. The bracket to mount it were the two L shape brackets that held the stock controller onto the bike.
where did you purchase the kit from?
Electro & co
What battery you have?
A stock surron battery that comes in this bike th-cam.com/video/4cX_fqZVJ3E/w-d-xo.html
It is 60v
Good idea
We need part 2
Coming tonight!
💯✌
Those mx front wheels are weak better off with the og wheel the sx comes with
Funny, I had a friend Ride mine and it’s warped after going over a log. Have to swap back now
@@ChaseWorks Good thing I saw this, was just about to swap over to a larger wheel!
@@billyjenkins3015 it’s fine for on the road but logs and bumps I don’t recommend!
