I would love to see a video on your new main boat, from the clips you’ve shown it might just be your best work yet because it looks awesome man keep it up
I use my actual boat to fish flat water, but if I didn't have it I would seriously consider this rig. It seems like a really complete fishing platform that could handle a LOT of different scenarios really well plus be able to get into really skinny water if you wanted to!
Real installation hurdle for me with the Autoboat was the need for the goofy retaining collar required for install. I had a couple of kayak trolling motors sitting around (30lbers from a Chinese import tandem, just like a BKC and Hoodoo white label). These didn't come with the pontoon style bow mount I bought to drop the trolling motor on, and the motors themselves did not have the collar that the Autoboat kit assumes that you do. Finally, I couldn't work out how to put a transom block on the front my new Milha Lite Skiff (I'm not a welder and there's no way I could fab something like what is seen in the video, impressive as it is; just way out of reach for basic DIY types like myself, still getting over saying things like "that's a hardware problem"). Likewise the kayak track mounted transom bracket I had on hand (I think from Railblaza) would not grant anywhere enough front or side clearance to get the motor shaft vertical past the bow from the front three track mounts (center, right or left). I had another transom bracket laying around for a hybrid SUP (a cheapie Amazon special knocking off the MinnKota design) and found it had the molded in collar, so just ended up sawing off the goofy triangular nut. I fastened a bracket from the retaining screw for the collar to my pontoon-style bow mount bracket. In retrospect, I would have bought a stainless shaft collar the right inner diameter for my trolling motor shaft and bolted it on (without sawing up the transom mount) and used the tension screw whole to bolt that to the pontoon mount with a straight bracket/single-column hole mending plate. This would be a really cheap piece of plastic to include in the kit to make it complete, even if you don't use it (assuming, say, your transom mount bracket has one built in).
My pelican bass raider I bought for $800 is lighter, wider, holds more weight, and goes 10-15mph everywhere I go in inches of water w my mud motor. That skiff starts at $3700! I usually go fishing with my wife and 3 kids and don’t have to worry about sinking or flipping. It’s a cool boat tho
How well does this boat cartop? I don't got a pickup and the ability to deploy off a beach is really appealing. Have you guys taken a look at the australian market of boats?
I wonder if it would be interesting to add one of those pwc rib kits to this. I just seen a video where they have you laser scan the pwc and they make it custom to fit.
I wish I could see one in person. I’m a giant of a dude and I wonder if this could accommodate me. I have been fishing out of a Pro Angler for over a decade and maybe this would be a nice small boat to have for them long range trips
If you have good balance, you'll be fine. If not, then this boat is not for your. There was 400lbs between my son and I on that boat this weekend and it was fine, but we both have good balance.
If it has a motor, even a trolling motor it has to be registered, which won’t replace Kayak, much less be the reason why many of us wish for a peddle option?
We did catch a limit. That’s why we had the stringer. We kept trying to catch pike bass or mwalleye, but the trout kept crushing the bigger lures couldn’t get away from them.
I know this vid is a month old but i would be hyped to hear your thoughts on something like the Tuffy 300 vs the Milha. I know the Tuffy is heavier but i still think its a good alternative on paper
The tigger 300 is pretty awesome. It’s bigger bulk and heavier, though so ultimately it’s not more transportable. It’s more like an actual boat that needs to be trailered.
what abt the fact that a 12ft jon boat ways about 80lbs and costs half the price of this thing? 8,10, and 12ft jon boats are all wider, lighter, and cheaper. and can all fit in a truck bed.
If you can build something for cheaper, that can perform as well please let us know. We’re also looking for something like that, but it doesn’t exist yet.
@@TinyBoatNation Maybe but it really doesnt solve any of my problems. I dont have a pickup truck. So I would still need a trailer and at that point I might as well use the jon boat I have that I have been putting off registering.
I like it! It needs a small down graded with Oar lockers & decent rowing position, I bet it could out paddle a kayak with 2 oars, a true kayak killer!( color it black & white & call it the Oar’Ka!) ✌️🤟🤙

OMG what A video !!! love it !!! rigging up my new lite skiff #2 Sea foam blue !!!
Should look really good!
Mine just landed. So pumped. I need your troller mount!! Make some more and get em on the site!😬
Are you close to one of our shops? We can probably make you a bow mount. The transom would be a bit harder.

What the heck is a mud motor? I've been looking into trolling motors for my yak. I would definitely pay the extra money to Cruz at 10 to 15
ust picked up the autoboat system, do you have a video on that stow deploy system for the trolling motor?

thanks man!
Love the edits
I try
Nice boat! Tickle the algorithm!
Oh yeah!

Are you all catch and release? If you were someone who took your whole limit to eat every time, would that change your boat configuration here?
We did catch a limit. That’s why we had the stringer. We kept trying to catch pike bass or mwalleye, but the trout kept crushing the bigger lures couldn’t get away from them.
Do you guys import these Milha Boat direct from the manufacturer in Brazil?
No, we get them from a local distributor here who gets them from Brazil
Make that custom mount for the micro anchora for your site. I would buy it
They can be made to order, or at time of purchase of a lite skiff. There aren't enough lite skiffs in circulation to make products for it - YET
@@TinyBoatNation I was thinking of putting it on my tracker classic xl actually.

can you direct me to the quick release trolling motor mod (rope handle release)? love that and would help me allot!
I made it with two 3/16 inch bolts and two pieces of aluminum sheet metal. I can probably do the mod on an actual video later.
Thanks! Now I got to figure out what to buy my wife so she'll forget about the money I'm fixing to spin cuz I got to have one! Lol
Happy king, happy kingdom.
What kind of speed can you go?
I got up to 28mph with a 15 horse
Easy solution to not being able to bring you main boat is get a hitch welded to you 5th wheel and tow it behind the trailer. It is legal in AZ
I don't even like towing one, lol

Jon boats have no storage. To try and add storage in a boat like that will likely end up costing you more + it will be heavier
@TinyBoatNation so if given the option between a 8,10, or 12 ft jon boat or a lite skiff?
That "TINY' BOAT " in the picture costs close to $10 K the way it sits. Not much "TINY" about the price tag.
If you can build something for cheaper, that can perform as well please let us know. We’re also looking for something like that, but it doesn’t exist yet.
It’s not wide enough for me 48 inch to 50 inch wide and 16 ft long
Hahahaha better lower the price! With the xtr 130 coming out this thing can't compete
There actually is a kayak that can compete with this it's the ascend 133x by bass pro
Not even in the same class
Price
3200
So strange that people would hate on the boat because it's plastic. In my book, that's a plus.
Except when you've put holes in all 6 of your kayaks. ...😂
It's slightly too expensive. 2500 and I'd be in
Once you try it out, you start to realize it's really under-priced.

They have that already. It's called a Sundolpin American 12
