    That Air Skiff looks awesome!!
    Done lots of research. It has heat welded seams which are way more durable than other inflatables. I’m sold.
    I have inflatable kayaks and have owned other inflatable skiffs….but those all had adhesive seams. Heat welded seams makes this skiff absolutely killer reliable and durable.

      Seems like the original- Saturn Kaboat, True Kit, and Kolibri are all thermo welded.

    That's awesome. This is what I am looking for. I can't afford the truck to tow a boat I can't afford. This is doable for my grocery getter sedan. Thank you.

      We all gotta get out there somehow right? I'm building a 12ft v hull, figured I could easily tow that with my wrx and launch from the beach instead of the marina. I live in NM and would be fishing Elephant Butte and Caballo Lake.

      My buddy and I pull our 14ft vhull boat with his honda accord if that's helps to open up some ideas for you!

    Im strongly considering this or one of the other inflatables like Stealth or Sea Eagle. My biggest concern is i like catfishing. And even if I didn't enjoy it, I would catch them incidentally when fishing for other fish. Sail cats and hardheads have incredibly sharp spines. I would need a way to protecr the boat from puncture.

    I’m seriously sold on this setup. I would love to see you guys work on this inflatable. Waiting on the potential mods before I bite the bullet.

    Could you do a video to compare the air skiff to the NewPort NS130 inflatable?

    Have you though about having a frame for it, something like the NRS approach 120 or the Stealthcraft hooligan?

    I have a hobie passport with Bixpy motor for the pedal drive and another Vibe paddle kayak. Really thinking of selling it all for this setup

    I’ve been tempted to get one, add a fan motor, and use on skinny ice fishing.

    Would you have a developing product for a 24 volt trolling motor such as the minn kota traxxis 80lb?

      I appreciate the quick response and much needed as the traxxis 80lb went on sale and will be investing into this instead of the endura.

    Im now on the fence.... I have a Jackson cuda 14 (just paddle) and am looking at trading it for a lite skiff and doing a setup similar to yours but now this. The inflatable sure looks nice and its wild how much you were able to rig it up and then just pack it away. In you videos is looks like the lite skiff can get up on plane and cruise pretty well and is mostly stable enough for 2 people. I am thinking something like a 6hp electric outboard and then a autoboat trolling on the front with my garmin 10" rigged to the front. The air skiff with that center support bar and the front deck really gives it a larger boat feeling though. Just dont know which to look at more seriously. I also just found something like the FishSkiff 16 that is available on Amazon with some cool configurations and seems to be quite capable for a inflatable boat. Do you have any experience or opinions on that? The size doesnt seem to be a limiting factor on portability when you deflate for transport. Kinda seems like a easy way to get the benefits of a larger boat with less of the downsides.

      @TinyBoatNation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      One is more portable, the other is more functional. That should be the defining aspect.

    The problem with these inflatables is, you have to spend two hours setting them up at the ramp unless you keep them inflated witch defeats the purpose. Also wind is a major issue.

    • @theoutdoordad7395
      @theoutdoordad7395 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Keeping it inflated doesn’t defeat the purpose at all. They are susceptible to wind but that can be overcome with an anchor or motor.

    • @jimsomerville3924
      @jimsomerville3924 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      True. However, another option with inflatables due to their light weight is to carry it inflated on roof rack. That way can either unpack and inflate at home, or leave inflated at home if have room.
