I used Milha skiff for probably half a year. I didn’t even get to keep it and I wasn’t paid to review it. You can beat the heck out of it and it takes it. It is an exceptional value especially when stacked against many large fishing kayaks. Stability is phenomenal. I can stand and fish all day on it. I fought and landed sharks from it. This boat will probably out live the owner in terms of durability. Bass pro stamped plastic boats with seams are honestly throw away boats after few years. Milha makes a great plastic boat. Best of all love the dolly wheels and ability to haul it in truck bed without trailer…..plus the built in storage that a jon boat doesn’t have. The transom is super reinforced too unlike many other boats its size. One of the Milha distributors in USA did brick capacity test on the Milha and it was way over 1000lbs. Your test further confirmed that. Don’t remember exact number but I have it written down on my IG page.
I'm really digging mine. I did put a 20HP on it, zero issues! I bought the reinforcement arm and other accessories direct from Brazil on WhatsApp and they did me a solid. I cannot agree on the stability you mentioned. IT IS SUPER TIPPY! I bought a 12ft long one-side outrigger kit from Expandacraft along with aluminum panels and now have an increased side casting/net/camping deck and zero stability issues. An outrigger from Spring Creek would also work if you don't want all that hassle, but I'd consider the tippyness a huge downside, at least for me.
@ maybe I have a higher sense for stability and balance. I do come from the kayaking world. I fished all day standing up on top deck shark fishing with no issues. I’m 6ft 2in and 210lbs.
@@israelrodrigueznieto4726 Strongly recommend Ridge River Ventures. Free shipping and when mine came cracked due to the shipper, they took care of it and swapped it out within a week for free. It was a super bummer but they made it right.
Im Brazilian and can tell boats and Kayaks from this brand are tanks - really top notch products. I’ve never heard one bad thing about them from the fishing community here. Another cool thing is that they listen to their customers as every new model comes with a few adjustments and corrections from the previous ones that make their use very convenient.
@@andresil8330 that is because Brazilians are awesome people and take pride in what they make. I know because I became a co-owner in a Brazilian boat trolling motor brand called AutoBoat. The team we have is awesome. They are innovative and they never settle on quality and improving the product.
Yeah man, there's a lot of Brazilian youtube videos featuring their boats! They are definitely legit and popular down there! They have a new boat coming out soon to, or it just launched!
@ I think you are referring to the ARK. I’m getting one for testing and playing with. Bit different than this one. It has a pedal drive and seems bit more like kayak than this. Similar hull shape and lines though.
Yeah man, I appreciate that post very much! It basically sums up what I try to explain a lot of people regarding the cost, but in a real life conversation. It was too good not to share for people interested in going that route. Thanks
The roto-mold process is why I love my bass hunter 120 it is solid and I would bet more stable than the lite skiff due to the hunter being one of the pontoon style. The bass hunter fits in the bed of my tacoma and I have been able to hit the small lakes around me that do not have boat ramps; it has been a game changer for me. The hunters are way more expensive than the 2 peice boats but cheaper than the lite skiff; I still like the skiff but I guess I can do without haha.
Not even wearing a life vest with an overweight load which could shift at any second. Great job, should have remembered a rainbow wig and red ball nose.
Im a dangerous guy, what can I say? Sometimes I don't even wear my seat belt when I drive down the driveway to check my mail. It's the adrenaline junkie in me. I'm sorry.
Here is my problem with small skiffs and big kayaks when both require a trailer to tansport and use For what the small skiffs and big kayaks cost new you're in the same price range a a pretty nice used 16"deep V fishing boat with motor and trailer I mean if you now have to store your skiff or kayak on a trailer and now lost all advantages of a kayak or small boat that doesn't need a trailer and now is every bit as difficult and involved ss storing a 16' fishing boat on a trailer I can not see how you just donr buy a nice older used 12-16' fishing boat and yes I do own both a kayak and a conoe and if I need to trailer my fishing vessel its going to be a boat not a kayak or small skiff
I demonstrated many times in this video that you don't have to trailer this boat. I had it 6 months before I did the trailer. I don't think it's necessarily about transport or starage as much as what advantages the boat (kayak or lite skiff) has over a larger vessel on the water. I'm not taking a 16ft v in the bed of my truck to launch off the bay side sand of cape San Blas FL, to fish 3 ft of water for reds or trout running oyster beds and grass lines. Just an example.
Can confirm, no trailer and I'm running it with a 20HP Tohatsu electric tilt/start and a 12ft one-sided outrigger Expandacraft kit. I have a Hiker Trailer that I run with it and this skiff is the only truck bed rotomolded semi-kayak that fit my particular need. Niche for sure. Considering a trailer just for the sheer convenience of a fast hookup and go, but it is not at all needed. I do have an electric winch and a simple PVC ramp to get it INTO the truck bed though. Once it is loaded down with gear, It is difficult to get into the bed alone. You're not wrong though. A lot of cost just for it to be somewhat more truck bed mobile. But I'm not camping on top of my truck roof or getting rid of my camper, so not much choice.
Just went duck hunting with it this season! The doors are great to hide behind and run netting off. Mine is bright green. I had to secure a bunch of netting and brush to it once I got where I was hunting from. It was a crazy warm season this year.

Great comment, love it !!!! Straight from Milha nautica brazil !!!!!!
How much does it cost and where can I buy it?

Yes, I am. Rafael sent me a bunch of stuff on those through Instagram! They look fun!
OH HEY, that was my long reddit post at the end! Good stuff! That was a ton of research. Those costs for import don't come out of nowhere. 😂

Don’t let them fool you about standing on that thing you will be rocky and probably falling in lol
THIS. Went in the drink multiple times WHILE SITTING in a bolted chair before getting an outrigger kit. Reach to far one way, and you're going in!
Nice vid Anthony
Thanks you my S Fl friend

Maybe a good video idea: BassHunter VS Lite Skiff. Pros and Cons of each!
I think it's cool 😎. I'd like to own one!

This would be a great duck hunting boat if it held a shotgun and if it came in cammo
Great boat for a lot of things!
