I can get over the fact that her grabs don't chain into combos, but I can't get over the fact that her uncharged blaster COMBOS INTO NOTHING. This particular nerf I cannot forgive. My blaster game is ruined.
heres my personal favourite zss combos: side special-up smash-up air-up special 41 damage at 80 percent when the opponent is at the ledge: grab-side throw-down special (if you wanna be funny and suicide bomb add a down air at the end)
The jab reset stuff doesn't work unfortunatly, since there is no forced normal get up any more. What you can do after the first jab though is upB to kill, dtilt to start a combo, or maybe dair, but the dair timing is very strict. Thanks for the video!
It's really sad. I can ladder combo people in matchmaking all day long but unless they're above 100% I can't secure a reliable KO at all. Hopefully they bring her up a bit, I don't really have much interest in playing any other character.
I think the changes are better for the game. Having an overly centralised strategy makes a character and gameplay one dimensional. The most boring smash 4 characters to watch in tournament were definitely Mario, Meta Knight, ZSS, Bayo, Sonic, etc because they had clearly defined, predictable, and exceptionally powerful flowcharts to follow.

i've been practicing for hours trying to do that double up tilt ugghhh and its like the jumps are spaced apart and the kinks are slower.......is this a nerf ?
New smash player here, for the combo at 1:02, I can't seem to get anything to combo after the up smash. Is the timing really strict or is there a trick to it?

I'm holding jump to get the next available jump and also mashing it but seems to long before jumping again compared to your combo. She just falls down half way of the first jump before double jumping... any tips for this
There's no trick to this. No need to buffer or mash anything, it's just timing. After the first up air wait like half a second and input the next jump. Don't overthink it.

I'm having trouble turning around in the air to do a teather ledge grab. I'll be facing off stage and then I teather the wrong side and obviously die. How do I turn around quickly in mid air?
When grabbing ledges z is much faster than side B. Z grabs ledges at frame 2 while side b grabs ledges at frame 20. I recommend z to recover whenever possible.

I haven't played the other SBB so... thank you :) Also, I am currently trying to do the combo @0:28, the thing is I am not able to have the full 6-hits combo. I have some harsh time on the transition between the mid-jump -> double kick to the triple "A" hit. I have succeeded sometimes, but I can't reproduce it every time, the combo always resets to 1 or 2. I feel like I have to dash or sth right after the double kick but still, either my timing is awful or I am not doing it right in the first place... do you have any tips please ? Thanks a lot !
At 0:22 you use the Side B which knocks the Simon toward you. For some reason I cannot replicate this no matter what I do, it always sends the opponent away. Can someone let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Great video but I'd suggest either using a outlined font (white with black outline) or a different color - some point's its hard to read with the background.
To do a short hop you have to make an actual button on your controller a jump butto. So if B is your jump button press B then your main attack button and that wiil make tou the hop attack
@@Oku_Skitz yeah I know that. But if you look at the video he's doing a lot of short hop falling moves. If you do jump and attack at the same time it does short hop rising attack which wiffs and gets you killed
Out of touch smash player (melee or brawl was the last title i owned) trying to get back into it. I hear vets saying she was nerfed but is she an effective counter measure against Bayonetta?
I also want to thank you for posting this series. Your videos are awesome. They've been helping pick up a bunch of new characters I've been wanting to learn. Keep up the great work.
That's just a matter of practice. In training mode practice the timing of double jump after the up air. Then apply it to the combo. That's the best I can explain it.
I don't care if she got nerfed, i love her style, movement and poses, she looks very elegant,cool and strong, i will use her forever.

The thing i hate the most is the nerf to tether. Instant tether ledge trumps were SO MUCH FUN in Smash 4.

You can buffer the jump by pressing up during the up smash to jump as soon as possible. Once you master that it's pretty easy.

Use side B instead of Z. It helps.

When grabbing ledges z is much faster than side B. Z grabs ledges at frame 2 while side b grabs ledges at frame 20. I recommend z to recover whenever possible.

Just make sure to fast fall (press down) after the two kicks. (fair) and it should connect easily.
How do you keep your opponent in the air that long? I see people do it all the tine and they land very long combos. Happens to me all the time

Almost everyone is a counter to bayonetta since she's also been nerfed
