Su’s vocals are amazing as usual but Moa’s lower than usual voice was great. Absolutely love this version.
The song I would like to hear acoustic from Babymetal is my favourite song of theirs, Megitsune.
Babymetal already did "stripped down" (or acustic if you like) version of 2 other songs:
- "Akatsuki unfinished" only performed live at Legend 1997 in 2013
- "The One - Stairway to Living Legends" official MV
You already reacted to the regular version of Akatsuki, so you could do this version!

I have watched this many times and I tear up every time. It is beautiful. I do wish we could have seen a little more before or after just to see the girls out of character a little. I was hoping to see a little Suzuka Nakamoto and Moa Kukichi show up. Still amazing.
I read that this song was actually written years go and when Yui was still with BABYMETAL. I wonder if the 3 girls is supposed to represent that time. 🤘🦊🤘
It is hard to know if this song came after Yui had left, but it would have been written before she left so she was probably meant to sing the oh oh ohs with Moa, she may have even been recorded on the original version

@@mikepowers9486 It was Su who said it, in a magazine interview, and you can still see their personality if you know what to look for, for example after the first chorus where Moa lifts her face and closes her eyes, she always does that when she is trying to hold back tears, and that little smile from Su right before she is about to let loose on the final chorus, both of those are themselves and weren't scripted.
Congratulations!! BABYMETAL is scheduled to return to USA in September and October. Probably they will go on US tour.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。These female artists, now grown up from their girlhood, depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us.
Speaking of the three figures in white hood adding some background vocals, I assume they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari last January. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko. Of course they are also homage to BM's girlhood with original three girls.
I enjoyed your reaction as always, and SU-METAL's voice shows a ray of light to those in despair. At least for me, it is more than an antidepressant.
By the way, I noticed that the plum blossoms on the shoji behind me have turned into cherry blossoms. According to the bloom forecast, they will bloom in a week in my town and be in full bloom in two weeks.🌸🦊

I would be expecting the fifth song from the new album on Friday and the album itself will be next Friday so possibly if there is another The First Take song it would be next week sometime?

Su's beautiful voice evoke so much emotion and Moa lends her sweet soft voice for added impact. I think Moa was so stiff and appeared nervous because she is so accustomed to dancing she had to "lock-in" so she wouldn't. I did notice Su started dancing some.
This is a song of positivity not sadness and destruction. Many people misunderstand the true meaning of Ragnarök and I think it is very fitting for TOO era. Ragnarök is about the end of the gods and widespread destruction followed by rebirth of a new world. Babymetal was sealed (the end of MR) and now the start of a new era.

Babymetal needs to put out an unplugged album...Even in this simple environment, Su is still the perfect performer, with her expression and gestures... Akatsuki Unfinished is still my tear jerker from Su, but this is running a close second in terms of emotional performances....sorry No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S XX... I've seen some of the other First Takes, and I think Su just set a whole new bar thats gonna be hard to surpass 🥲🥲🥲🤘🦊🤘
