Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Foxhole.🦊 This is a special version of one of their latest songs from the new album that was released last Friday ... it would be interesting to see what you think of the official lyric video with the original version of this song.
Su-metal is lead vocalist, her "sister" is Moametal (they're actually not related, but they are as close as or closer than sisters). You said they look very young - Su is 25, Moa will be 24 in July ... they formed BABYMETAL in 2010 when Su was 12, Moa was 11 (and the other original member Yui was also 11 - sadly she left the band in 2018 after a 12 month absence for unknown health reasons).
They have about 60 songs now, each one different to the last. Expect the unexpected - and they will surprise you every time. Live BABYMETAL is best, that is where they shine brightest.

Anyway you are going to receive tons of information about BM from many fans in various countries. I just want to say that they have been internationally reputable artists since 2014. They have even performed in your states, MO, at Uptown Theater in Kansas City on Sep. 23, 2019 as one of 20 gigs during their 2019 US tour. I think it's going make his first real taste of Babymetal even more interesting. I wouldn't suggest doing it this way but it's too late now. We will just have to enjoy his extra WTF reaction that's coming.
Although I agree with you that this version of this song isn't the best way to start Babymetal, I don't think I'd use the words "wrong" video. He now has an appreciation for Su's talent. Su is just about on par with Morissette Amon vocally, but can do that while dancing too which is something special. However, I get what you're trying to say lol

I'm glad to see new reactors getting into BM songs, you're arriving to a special era with more mature sound and a BM side we've never seen before. I'm gonna leave another suggestion in my next comment so you can check it out early BM era songs and clips safe to react but meanwhile don't worry about putting some filters in BM new singles, so far no one is reporting copyright blocked issues.
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute), mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms, they are:
*SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 25
*MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 23.
*YuiMetal* scream and dance, former member since 2018.
None of them are related.
After that year you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them sing or have mic, they only dance, but that may change this year since they announced a new official member is coming.
Monochrome is the 2nd single released from this new album called "The Other One" already released in this week, you can watch the official lyrics video to know what is about. Here's some official info:
_From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors._
Original version is more hard rock ballad style with overprocessed and audio effects, SuMetal vocals are similar to vocaloid style in some parts, but is enjoyable either way with the beautiful message.
There's also a live proshot version at Makuhari Messe 2023 performed at the end of January, one of the highlights in the live concerts was this beautiful song, SuMetal made everyone raise their phones to illuminate this dark world.
They already have softer version and piano version of certain songs before like "Akatsuki Unfinished Version" and The One - Stairway To Living Legend, i suggest you those after hearing the original version.

From a 'Western' perspective, Road of Resistance live in Japan (th-cam.com/video/zTEYUFgLveY/w-d-xo.html) is the one which converted me (old school metalhead) from, 'yeah, this is kinda interesting' to, 'okay, that was fantastic, also I HAVE to go to one of their live shows because their crowd interaction / control is second to none I've seen (I'd say on par or possibly even better than Rammstein)' - so I now have tickets for their next tour.
With Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997 Apocalypse (th-cam.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/w-d-xo.html) being another good option in terms of getting your head around what their thing is.
In terms of non-live stuff, I'd say Karate is their best music video (th-cam.com/video/GvD3CHA48pA/w-d-xo.html)
They are absolutely a divisive group amongst western metalheads, people either love them or hate them. However (not that band opinions should necessarily sway people) but a few gems I've come across:
"They roll harder than you" - Rob Zombie
"How can you not be entertained watching that?" - Korn
"We saw them in 2013 at a festival, and we were astounded by their awesomeness" - Metallica
They've performed with, toured with, or opened for Metallica, Korn, Dragonforce, Rob Halford, Sabaton, Bring Me The Horizon, Guns N' Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers. So... regardless of what some metal fans think, they've won hearts and minds amongst the metal community (when they were touring with the Chili Peppers, Chad Kroeger made a point of bringing a birthday cake out on stage for the lead singer's birthday).

BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno (Yui left in 2018 due to health reasons). Both Moa and Yui were only 11 when the group began.
All three were friends and classmates who attended an idol school (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life the girls would learn and train to be idols and graduate at age 15 to move onto whatever entertainment path they chose.
Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result.
At first Amuse showed no interest and the girls had only financing from Kobayashi. They performed at strip malls and small venues using clothes borrowed from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues) and Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia).

That you and you alone could look down on what is arguably the most tallented female vocalist on the entire planet right now.
That didn't change much at the end of the reaction, really.
