What a humble guy Bernie is... Just made this daunting task seem like a cakewalk! I’ll probably have to watch this video once over to grasp it but this type of teaching is what I’m after! Thanks ATS and thank you for your time Mr. Thompson!
Bernie, Thanks for the simple clarity. You have a great way to directly approach these problems. My confidence increases when you bust myths and make the unknown, known.
Bernie excellent video. Thanks for explaining some of the CAN network diagnostics. Much appreciated and hope you show more in the future. Thank you very much Artie 😊
@@spot-onautomotivediagnosti7583 the no battery needed is great but the connectors are a bit of a hassle for me. I havent used it much but if you use your old one a lot then you can easily upgrade if you really want this one. You still have to plug them in order so that you can get the coloring right on the screen, I asked why it wont match what is plugged even if plugged in the first or last and I was told it would create confusion for people that are used to colors from channel A, B, C and D etc so I guess that makes sense. The person said that it had more to do when saving waveforms thag would create confusion but as long as you label your channels I think it would be ok being g different colors from what most people are used to. Sometimes I cant see what color is each channels I just pull whichever lead color and then it does not match so i have to pull the next one that does, I get confused during use lol
You’re are an Amimal Bernie excellent job. You do seem to follow the same unplug method each time. I particularly like how you sent In a signal to test integrity. Thanks for sharing. The eScope is incredible
Brilliant explanation and diagnosis I can’t thank you enough I’ve had this very problem on my evoque and soon as I checked through i found melted wires on the same diff module soon as I disconnected it everything came back to life , top man thank you very much .
Bernie for POTUS, hope u can teach some of the other wanabe utube mechanics so they don't get comebacks...I love a guy that doesn't toot his own accomplishments than the car returns a day later!!!
Awesome case study, professor Bernie! Love the TTL output to test signal wire integrity :)
