If the soap makes foam it doesn't always means that it has chemicals.The foam comes due to a soap base sodium hydroxide and its very safe for skin

Hey, foam/lather has nothing to do with having or not having chemicals, even natiral soaps can make good lather, it depends on the oils that are used, coxonut oil can produce a great lathering soap, also additoves like coconut milk, and other food purees that are high in sugar, like honey, or watermelon juice can give good lather.
Good if you can introduce body wash as well.

So just want to correct some misinformation, foam in soap is not formed because of chemicals it is actually caused because of oils, one oil that causes it is castor oil. Also not sure what people think about lye but it is considered a chemical, and you can’t make soap without it. I just think the wording is a bit off, instead of saying chemical free, you could say it contains all natural ingredients.
Sorry but its not so. Foam is made because of the use of foaming agents in it. May be this article will help.

I’m a soap maker that makes soap from scratch using oils and lye, from natural ingredients, and i’m also doing a science degree in university, i think i know a thing or two about the chemical composition of soap.
