I feel like if I don’t say thank you for your videos my truck will fall apart on me. Because of watching your videos you help me to the point I have to tell you and your followers. Because of you I was able to change my alternator, pcv hose left and right , oxygen sensors, turbo seals, 3 head hose that sits on top of the alternator, belt tensioner and belt . I just wanna say thank you so much and keep up the good work. I drive a x6 2011 50i 4.4 n63💪🏽🙌🏾🥳🥳
Very carefully to everyone doing this at home the alternator cable on those need to be perfectly alligned mine ended up touching the fuel rail which caused a huge fire!!!
Brother, I really need help man. My car keeps cutting off in the middle of driving and I tested it with the code eraser and it keeps saying that my alternator is good then it will say that is bad. I don’t know whether or not, I have a loose wire or bad alternator please help
Very helpful video! Those OE turbo coolant hose clamps are Oetiker 21.3mm Stepless Ear Clamps. Part 16700024. I find those OE clamps works better and it doesn't dent the hoses like the screw clamps does.
I change my coolant hose behind the alternator. Yet i still smell burning coolant? What could it be. The smell comes inside the vent. Coolant level remains the same in both tanks.
Hey quick question, so recently my bmw 750li 2009 out of no where I started it and I had like 10 dash lights on, some of my turning signals won’t work and it just seems a little faulty. I checked the fuses and all of them seem pretty good. Do you think it might be a sign of a bad alternator
No, no yet. Stay tuned for that video. I am planning to upload many DIY videos on the N63 engine so make sure to subscribe so you don't miss a video. Thank you.

the little coolant tank bolts size is 10 mm.
Tried installing it back and was having a hard time doing it ended up going to the dealership
Does the radiator fluid need to be completely drained to do this job?
Ah man thank you this was required

yes, the coolant will get burned over the time, in that period of time the smell of coolant will remain.
good video bruv
I still don’t get how to remove the tension of the belt. Using the t60, do I twist it to loosen it?
I only watched to see which way the wastegate vacuum lines get routes. Thanks for the clear visual. Lol
I have an Alternator for my 2014 750i. How much would you charge me for labor to replace it? Im from Colton Ca

Only 92k on the car and the alternator already failed? Also why not replace the coolant line vent right under the alternator?
I love u guys and have subscribed. Any chance of y'all doing a video on how to remove the alternator on a 2011 BMW 740Li?
Is it same bmw x6M 2014 too
Great video, do you have a video of how to drain the coolant for N63?
No, no yet. Stay tuned for that video. I am planning to upload many DIY videos on the N63 engine so make sure to subscribe so you don't miss a video. Thank you.
Where did you get alternator and why did you replace it?
If you had to ask that. Then you probably shouldn’t be trying to work on it
