I would say that Cardiff is one of the best cities in the world. Its big enough to have everything you need but small enough to get around. It had castles, Bays, Victorian shopping arcades which are outstanding, open air museum in St Fagans, fairytale castle in Castel Coch. Within a 45 minute drive you have mountains, waterfalls, beaches, its so well situated. It is small but well packaged and a great base to explore. Visit the Maderia of you get a chance a Portuguese Restaurant which has some stunning food on offer

I live in south wales and I love it here. Sure it can be a bit crappy if you don't plan but we have all adapted and it's great. I live in the valleys so when you go to the top of the valley you get great views.
We initially had plans to explore North Wales only this summer, but after watching this video of yours- we extended our trip to include Pembrokeshire coast and National Showcaves Centre for Wales and absolutely loved it. Great content!

Defently take the kids to the Dinosaur park that I mentioned in the video you can also take them into the caves which will give them great memories that will last forever. For beaches do you prefer very quiet or a bit more going on?

Hi. Collecting ideas... Will be traveling around Wales end of May. Coming with my van and 5 dogs..... I am a little concerned about parking restrictions because of high.... And free overnight places
There are loads of cheap places to park during the night. Lots of people also just park anywhere for free and Wales is so empty when it comes to the country side.

Which area of South Wales would you recommend we stay if we want good access to both a bustling city as well as be able to enjoy some areas of natural beauty? We love walks and hikes in nature as well as having amenities not too far away that we could drive to. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
To be honest if your staying on the west side of Cardiff that’s perfect for what you want. From these it’s around 30 minute drive to the Brecon Beacons which as you can see in my video there is lots to see and do. There are a few more things to see in Brecon Beacons but sadly I didn’t get to film as I sprained my ankle at that water fall which cut my trip a tad short.
I've been in Fishguard very beautiful country and lovely people. Love y'all from Iran 🇮🇷🤝🏴 as u know the Welsh dragon was borrowed from Romans and they borrowed it from Dacians and Dacians themselves borrowed this from Sarmatian warriors. They were Iranic ethnic groups lived in Ukraine.
May I ask where all the locations are because I’ve booked a hotel in Cardiff and I wanted the locations to be just around 30 mins max away from the city
To be honest there’s isn’t much in a 30 minute radius from Cardiff. I would drive up to the Brecon Beacons if I were you as I remember it being less than an hours drive from Carfiff.

May I ask where all the locations are because I’ve booked a hotel in Cardiff and I wanted the locations to be just around 30 mins max away from the city
To be honest there’s isn’t much in a 30 minute radius from Cardiff. I would drive up to the Brecon Beacons if I were you as I remember it being less than an hours drive from Carfiff.

Me too I'm from swansea I'm 3 mins away from the beach and city I dont really go anywhere for holidays because there plenty of places in wales to go like tenby, cardiff ect
