Thank you so much for this wonderful video! We are traveling to Tenby , coming from Germany, for the first time and I am so excited to go there! Cheers!👏🏻👍👋🤗😌
Glad it was helpful!
Wales deserves to be the holiday place to go to in the UK, its such a lovely place.
agree
Tenby is lovely,Conwy as well but a lot of the old seaside towns are now in a terrible state ,I stayed at Dr garrets children's convalescent home for poor inner city kids in Conwy quite a few times ,we visited Tenby a lot
The Welsh government needs to pull its fingers out. Tourism might be all that's left. Mind you, when the A465 Heads Of The Valleys road is fully dualled, it will make a huge difference.
I’m lucky enough to live here my whole life, the whole of Pembrokeshire is stunning! You should do one on Manorbier and all it’s secret beaches
Can you tell me if it is easy to rent there
@@sheilacarter7875 Permanent rental is impossible
Anne Howe For what reason is it impossible to permanently rent there?
Mostly just local people living and staying there best looking slightly out of town to have a chance of getting somewhere nice :)
@@sheilacarter7875 sorry for late reply..
Pembrokeshire towns or villages with Beaches are getting harder and harder to rent. Most places are holiday let’s, or mortgages through the roof.
Plenty of places locally you can get into though? You may be a 10/15 minute drive away (which I recommend for the summer months you’d rather be out of the way)
Ah, beautiful Tenby. When the weather is good it’s one of the best places in the world 😍
Saundersfoot nearby is also lovely but on a smaller scale.
So true!
Saundersfoot has had a massive re-vamp too, it looks amazing.. I stopped off there on my way home from Tenby, when I went in early June this year.
I think Tenby is the most beautiful place in Wales.
Tenby is unique. South Beach tho: steps down to the beach are arduous.
There is better places than Tenby in South wales
One of my favourite places! I live around 50 miles east of here, in Llanelli. Tenby is often included in my stops, when going for a motorcycle ride around west Wales. I remember being here in the hot summer of 1976, when we stayed in Kiln Park. The sand was so hot, it would burn your feet! Great video!
thanked for giving it a watch
We used to have our holiday's in Tenby when i was younger, this vblog should bring back it all back of happy day's in Tenby
:-)
Wow, that thumbnail is absolutely stunning!
Wait till you see the video 😉
I never knew Tenby was so beautiful. Thanks for another fascinating vlog, Tim 👍
Me too lol
@@familyadventuredays1203 very little to offer..... Apart from beautiful beaches and a scenic old town.... Thats why its popular.
We were here yesterday on the south beach, I think we arrived a bit later then you. We’ve been going at least once every year now for about 5 years we love it
:-)
You picked the best day, those skies are beautiful.
I try to pick good weather days
Looks so nice in Tenby
it does!
1994 I was lost, the firemen were putting bunting up the main street. I had no idea where I was. It was a Love town. I asked the firemen where we were. The fire chief said" welcome to Tenby"
Why oh why would anyone want to get on a plane and flyer when we have these lovely places on our doorstep, Tim thank you for such a marvellous video👏👏😎
My thoughts exactly
One of the best location videos done. Found via Natasha and Debbie's channel.
who are they ?
@@WalkWithMeTimThe Natasha & Debbie show channel. They reacted to the video and loved the video and the location.
Amazing video Tim on the country of where I live. Wales is so beautiful and you're video captured this. I seen this video whilst watching my very good American Sisters Natasha and Debbie on The Natasha and Debbie Show.
Was in tenby a couple of weeks ago and went on Caldey Island ..such a beautiful place to visit...hopefully I get to go back soon
Amazing tim lovely footage and video thanks 4 sharing

@@WalkWithMeTim My pleasure. I've been here since the start and your just amazing at what you do!!
Planning a long weekend in August and I thought I knew where we were going, I do now
Lol
Ahhh Tenby where you can get a pint of prawns and i recommend it!. Gower and Rhossili are on my doorstep and worth a visit too!.
thanks for the tip
Greetings from all the staff of St Catherine's Island & Fort. Such a fantastic video :) We are very lucky to live here :) I did see you doing your piece to camera at the time :)
Thanks for being ok with me filming :-)
@@WalkWithMeTim @Walk With Me Tim No problem at all :) We welcome filming here :) Especially when videos like this are the wonderful result :)
I visited Tenby first as a young teenager and didn’t really appreciate how beautiful it was. I have just got back from a stay in Pembrokeshire, with my young family over 20 years later and it didn’t disappoint. We went on the seal safari you pointed out and that was most definitely the highlight of our trip.
Did you really? You love the place? It is a best holiday in Wales, better than holiday in England ( in my opinion of course )
Just looked at your video of Tenby before I went to bed looks a nice place Tim
I think so ! :-)
Wow! Tenby has been on my list for awhile but this video has made me put it to the top! so excited to visit!
have fun Liz
Up by the bandstand my cousin's ashes ⚱️ were scattered there because of the love of Tenby sneaking into the fort to camp overnight, seeing storms over sea I love seeing the fort now and reliving the memories!
Beautiful Tenby, I’ve visited at some point practically every year since I was a child. It’s gorgeous at any time of year and there are so many other great beaches close by to visit. In fact the whole of South Pembrokeshire is just glorious. I was only there this June but it’s great to see it again, thanks Tim!
I totally agree!
Tenby is wonderful. It has all kinds of childhood vibes for me... once, my uncle and grandmother took me here as a young girl in the middle of winter. Worst headache EVER, but still had a great time
🇨🇦 here. I have visited Tenby on numerous occasions, including New Years 2000. A spectacular part of the world.
Just loved this walk what a beautiful place 🏴🏴🏴🏴
I've lived in tenby since I was 4 years old, I've spent countless hours at the skatepark and setting fires along the beach, I've had so many good memories living here thank you for the amazing video
you are welcome
My part of the world Tim. I'm 8 miles up the road.
lucky you :-)
I own an Airbnb here, it's great if you find a gap in the bookings to have a little trip down there myself!
That's a great idea!
Love Tenby visited three years ago lovely town bar's places to eat great beaches welcoming people.
Keep up the great vlogs xx
Thanks david
An hour away from where I live. Spent many a holiday at Kiln Park Tenby 😀
It's a great place
We used to stay at Lydstep Haven
Jeez haven't been here for maybe 20 years need to re visit definitely
so many people are saying that
Went there once as a little nipper, loved it but never been back.
It's so beautiful
As a new subscriber, I have really enjoyed this video. Visited Tenby many years ago, still looks gorgeous. Oh and all those steps Tim, rather you than me !! Thanks x
Wow welcome Susannah
I went to Tenby in May and June and it was the best holiday I have ever had and ever will have. And I had this piece of slate which was very special and rare and I dropped it on harbour beach and then couldn't find it ever again :(
Stayed in the Premier inn here when I was there just the one night. Ideally located right between the seafront & the castle wall. Amazing place.
me too! ;-)
Outside of Norfolk Pembrokeshire is one of our favourites, Tenby is the jewel. Great video Tim, you have tugged at our heartstrings again. Thankyou. 🙏
mine too :-)
Another great vlog, even better with the weather you always pick good day with the weather. I went to Tenby in the mid 80s. Visited the Castle, really sad about the Hotel what a prime spot. Surprised its not been snapped up. Caldy Island is nice. And that rock 🪨
yes I do try to visit when the weather is good as it looks so much better
I went to tenby a few weeks ago for the first time . I loved it that much im going back in august. Everyone is friendly and the beaches are really clean . Theres so much to see
agree
I think in future decades to come, our usual foreign holiday destinations will become way too hot to travel to. And beautiful British destinations like Tenby will see a massive revival 🌞👍
I do both! Visited Wales for the first time in 2018. I visit every year now! And go back to Jamaica 🇯🇲💙🏴
it will always be a draw and when the wether is good! why go abroad
@@WalkWithMeTim Can't plan for good weather in Britain, its too hit and miss IMO,at least the Continent guarantees decent weather,Tenby does look lovely mind
@@WalkWithMeTim because of the water temp ofc
Cnt get a pint for a pound like spain
I love the place. My family are from Manorbier, which is about 5 miles west of Tenby.
:-)
I can't wait to show my husband all of your fantastic videos!
Definitely putting this place on my to go to list. Been before when I was about 12.. dad slipped a disc and I got mumps. Beautiful place
You should!
What a beautiful place. It looks so clean and well maintained - and those beaches look stunning !

we love our beaches! every person who lives down here makes so much effort to keep them clean and maintained because it’s too beautiful not to😩
A truly beautiful seaside town. Only visited once about 50 years ago as kid, why haven't I been back.
What a lovely place will definitely go now always wondered what Tenby is like so pretty thank you for showing us tim
You are welcome Sally
As much as I love watching your worst places videos this one has made me smile. Tenby is one of my favourite places and we are lucky to live so close by. Beautiful beach and town 😎

What a beautiful place. I may have to visit. Thanks for sharing xxx
you are welcome Beverley
Went on holiday to Pendine about a month back, Tenby was definitely one of the highlights! so beautiful!
Oh, you took me right back with this one. When I was 8 we did a tour of Wales in a classic VW camper van. Orange with a white roof. Tenby was a lovely place, we had fun there.
wow sounds fun
So sad to see that beautiful hotel just left. Imagine the stories the walls could tell. I imagine in it's day it would've been stunning
I live near Tenby, honestly such a lovely place, looking forward to this one 😁
It really is!
Thank you for showing me the beautiful video ⛰🏕😃👍
Always welcome
Went there as a child never realized how lovely the place is.
same here
Such a lovely place,... great video. Brave to walk over that bridge to the fort.
lol
Ooh, this brings back such memories! I've not been to Tenby for over 25 years, and I don't think I appreciated just how beautiful it was when I was a small child. Blimey, though - it could be a Mediterranean riviera resort, with the stunning beaches, quaint seaside towns, subtropical planting...
What with Covid and global warming, I've been looking again at our own British holiday destinations, and honestly, I have to visit here again!
Wow! What a beautiful place
I agree!
I'm glad I watched this as I'm visiting Tenby in a couple of weeks. I hope the weather is nice 🤞
:-)
Been here twice this year and was going to go again.
:-)
Tenby and Saundersfoot are my second home, I remember St Kathrine’s being a zoo when I was a child. Clarice’s toy shop was my favourite place my Nan worked in Boots the chemist for many years very mystical place with so many fantastic memories over many years. Thank for the video 👍🏻
you are most welcome John
Thanks for the walk with you to Tenby. It's a lovely town.
It really is!
Always enjoy a visit to Tenby
Me too
Good flowers nice icecreams on the vans on beaches awesome castles
agree
Was lucky enough to grow up here and spend my teenage years here. Beautiful place
agree
A really beautiful surprise, it is strange that Brighton is so more famous because Tenby seem to have much nicer beaches and the colorful architecture is almost a bit Italian.
Tenby is a wonderful destination.
😎
im from canada and my grandpa who is welsh took me here back in 2019 and i highly recommend coming here absolute beautiful town amazing scenery everyone you meet there is very polite and lots of great activities to do

Beautiful Tenby been many times as I’m from South Wales amazing video showing how beautiful it is
you are welcome
Looks very beautiful in Tenby, have never been there. Such lovely views down from the sea. Yes that is sad about the hotel closed down, bet it did very well when it was a hotel. Such a lovely town, it reminds me about Broadstairs a bit. Really little small path way with the cafe's, very nice
Beautiful Tenby, haven't been there in years, still has beautiful as I remember.😊❤️👌
I totally agree!
@@WalkWithMeTim Great video too. 👌
Top drawer footage. Very professional and polished. Excellent camera work.
Thanks Steve
Wish you could cover Caldy island one day, the history and beauty of this place looks so interesting.
Thank you for your excellent video of the Very pretty Tenby......I was stationed at RAF Brawdy in the late 70s. It was a great posting down there..some of the best scenery and beaches I the UK. ..Folks down the are exceptionally friendly. .The Air Sea rescue uilding is still, there on the harbour wall. Stirs some fantastic memories for me.
In fact I may arrange a vacation down there ......Sick of airtravel . It's time to take holidays back here in the Wales and the UK,

Tenby is the best amazing lovely to stay I go there every year with family amazing
literally the best place to go on holiday
went to tenby last week, it was amazing. also went to pembrokeshire, beautiful place wales is, it really is.
Thank you for the trip round Tenby, I took my first steps on North Beach in the middle of a sandstorm at the age of 10 months on holiday with my parents & have returned there zillions of times since for holidays.
The large rock on the North Beach is called Goscar Rock & used to be part of the cliffs before coastal erosion & cliff falls.
I went to Tenby 3 weeks ago now whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire (Wales), I remember a few of the locations shown in this video
:-)
Thank you for this lovely video..I am planning to go this place this summer.
Tenby will always be me and my mums favourite place to come when we're in Wales and we always have the best time here the beaches are amazing and so is the harbour North beach is my favourite and the views next to the lifeboat station are stunning and very good views of the Bristol Channel the town centre is fantastic there with great shops we visited today and was my 4th time visiting Tenby the tide was in and I even seen the lifeboat coming down the slope into the sea today which was a highlight the weather stayed dry too
Thanks for reminding me just how beautiful Tenby is, gorgeous place! 😍
I think more people need to know lol
Booked hotel for end of this month to treat my grandson, so looking forward to it. Staying in a hotel I've admired and wanted to stay in each time I've visited . At least once a year
