Tenby is lovely,Conwy as well but a lot of the old seaside towns are now in a terrible state ,I stayed at Dr garrets children's convalescent home for poor inner city kids in Conwy quite a few times ,we visited Tenby a lot
The Welsh government needs to pull its fingers out. Tourism might be all that's left. Mind you, when the A465 Heads Of The Valleys road is fully dualled, it will make a huge difference.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! We are traveling to Tenby , coming from Germany, for the first time and I am so excited to go there! Cheers!👏🏻👍👋🤗😌
@@sheilacarter7875 sorry for late reply.. Pembrokeshire towns or villages with Beaches are getting harder and harder to rent. Most places are holiday let’s, or mortgages through the roof. Plenty of places locally you can get into though? You may be a 10/15 minute drive away (which I recommend for the summer months you’d rather be out of the way)
A really beautiful surprise, it is strange that Brighton is so more famous because Tenby seem to have much nicer beaches and the colorful architecture is almost a bit Italian.
One of my favourite places! I live around 50 miles east of here, in Llanelli. Tenby is often included in my stops, when going for a motorcycle ride around west Wales. I remember being here in the hot summer of 1976, when we stayed in Kiln Park. The sand was so hot, it would burn your feet! Great video!

Tenby is wonderful. It has all kinds of childhood vibes for me... once, my uncle and grandmother took me here as a young girl in the middle of winter. Worst headache EVER, but still had a great time
Beautiful Tenby, I’ve visited at some point practically every year since I was a child. It’s gorgeous at any time of year and there are so many other great beaches close by to visit. In fact the whole of South Pembrokeshire is just glorious. I was only there this June but it’s great to see it again, thanks Tim!
I visited Tenby first as a young teenager and didn’t really appreciate how beautiful it was. I have just got back from a stay in Pembrokeshire, with my young family over 20 years later and it didn’t disappoint. We went on the seal safari you pointed out and that was most definitely the highlight of our trip.
Oh, you took me right back with this one. When I was 8 we did a tour of Wales in a classic VW camper van. Orange with a white roof. Tenby was a lovely place, we had fun there.
Why oh why would anyone want to get on a plane and flyer when we have these lovely places on our doorstep, Tim thank you for such a marvellous video👏👏😎

Always wanted to go to Tenby but never made it and now , living in Thailand probably never will. What an absolutely beautiful place and magnificent beach. Your videos are very professional and you have the gift of being interesting to listen to. Perfect. Thankyou for sharing your talents.
Ooh, this brings back such memories! I've not been to Tenby for over 25 years, and I don't think I appreciated just how beautiful it was when I was a small child. Blimey, though - it could be a Mediterranean riviera resort, with the stunning beaches, quaint seaside towns, subtropical planting... What with Covid and global warming, I've been looking again at our own British holiday destinations, and honestly, I have to visit here again!
As much as I love watching your worst places videos this one has made me smile. Tenby is one of my favourite places and we are lucky to live so close by. Beautiful beach and town 😎

Mostly just local people living and staying there best looking slightly out of town to have a chance of getting somewhere nice :)
