Thousands of Thai protesters gathered at one of Bangkok’s busiest intersections on October 15 despite a freshly-imposed decree banning groups of more than four people.
The move is deemed as part of the Thai government’s crackdown on the country’s ongoing youth-led pro-democracy movement. More than 20 people, including leading activists, were arrested overnight after the ban was introduced.

First of all, no one is behind the protestor everyone willing to be out there to shape the new future for themselves and get rid of the problems that have been fed on the people and corrupted the country for ages. The protesters have the ideas of their own base on simple right or wrong concept, anyone that has humanity in themselves can easily figure it out.
They lose the election because of election fraud caused by Prayut Chanocha’s party. Not to mention that there are more than enough reasons that this government needs to be taken down including the higher authority person behind it.
Innocent people were killed, captured, the government uses their power to cause the violence against unarmed people and peaceful protest, King scandals (lots of them, this is one of the worst part cuz he’s behind many massacre and violate human rights), taxes have been used for themselves rather than the people quality of living, abuse of laws against people, fake news/hate speech causes hatred in between Thai citizen. If they don't act now all the problems will remain and give them no bright future or no future at all. These are only some major problem but there are still much more.
For more info you can looking up for many foreign news about Thailand on TH-cam, many hashtags on twitter are on trending right ow #whatshappeninginthailand #16ตุลา and many more. Also, you can googled for website by typing what's happening in Thailand there are many reliable new sources and infographic available in most of the social media platform.
