I just subscribed and will be watching all your videos. I just bought an F1 and thought the software looked so similar to Cricut design space that I would just pick Creative Space up no problem..NOT!!! Thank you so much for your slow detailed video, it helped me understand the tools and options available. I plan to binge watch your channel this weekend.
Thank you! I haven't been posting much lately as I'm in the middle of moving house but I hope to be back with my take on all the new features in XCS, so please do come back again sometime!
Another great video. I really like the fact that you made three because each are very detailed. Also like that you take your time. I am new to lasers and have been taking notes. Subscribed a few minutes ago.
As this is totally new to me, I found this and your other step by step video highly informative. Like to suggest you consider doing a practical follow up video such as changing the name on a name flower.
Thank you! And that's a good suggestion. Due to some personal stuff going on ( Life happens!) I've not been able to do much in the way of tutorials lately, but I'll be back soon and will give it a go!
I tried using this software but ending up using Lightburn. Missing an easy way to set kerf and doing measurment of line with tabs an slots, hope this will be there in the final version. But the machine is great, love my S1 40w.
Lightburn is great and the more advanced user will probably grow out of XCS at some point. I switched over to Lightburn almost immediately when I got my D1 because XCS was pretty limited at the start of 2023. I went back to XCS when I got my F1 because Lightburn doesn't really play nicely with the F1 and I was honestly very surprised at how far XCS has come - it's a nice balance of ease of use and design functions, and it's free - my favourite price! I'm also impressed at how XTool seem to be listening to their user requirements and iterating - they continually added features to V1. If there's a demand for more advanced features I'm sure they'll be working to develop them. BTW, I'm not connected with XTool in any way - just a granny with a laser!

Thank you - and there are more videos to come, so thanks for the subscribe!
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP
You are very welcome!
I felt the length of tutorial was fine. I prefer one comprehensive review rather than several smaller ones.
Thank you, I'm so pleased that you thought that it wasn't too long!
