@ I made one each for my granddaughters, but it took a lot of trial and error and lots of time. I used Canva and photoshop for most of the it, and watched a few TH-cam videos to help along the way.
I am going to try this with a photo of my late husband and past pets. I have friends that miss their pets and i could use toys to make awesome gifts for them.
Excited about this, though not truly free it seems. I learned drawing/painting at age 7 and while my tastes and interests have evolved, I wanted to try and copy a certain painting or create a certain painting and I struggled to copy it (personal use, nor commercial 😅). Seeing the same in line form is easier for me. When I asked people about where they got original drawing that used to create a painting, people don’t want to share. Now I can try this. I also have a die cutting machine and I’ll try creating svg file for cutting. I want to make a special piece of art for my son’s special birthday and upcoming wedding! Thank you!!! No idea how it popped on my feed but for serendipity ❤
Unfortunately nothing is truly free these days and this being such a well made website they definitely need to charge for such a great service. Hope you have fun with it and enjoy your results 👍🏻
If anyone looking for a review, I tried it, gave it a castle and a house, a lot of artifacts, not enough free trials to convince me to buy extra credits.
I'm not suggesting that the line drawings are bad but they are not the same as the original photos. You can see most clearly with the tiger and the lizard.
See if the results are definitely not perfect but I have to say the results from the dogs and some others I’ve done (not in the video) are pretty close and have saved me hours of time having to draw them manually
The lineart is great and if you need a lineart picture that almost matches a photo, your done. But you're right, I don't think it is a lineart of the original photo. The kittens foot on the right isn't even on the right spot.
Great video introduction to this website, however, you talked a little fast for me, so I didn't understand what you said about re-sampling the image, did you say you are charged one credit for each resample or not charged for the resample.
@phototec maybe take it up with the developers of the tool. The last two photos looked nearly identical considering I pressed one button to auto trace it. You can spend hours of your time trying to outline a photo like that and have it look nothing like the original photo. I have saved myself hours and never had a negative thing said (obviously apart from the keyboard warriors you get on social media)
I did it with a couple different photos of people and got mixed results. I found using clean, well lit photos worked best. I still need to do a bit of research on what works best but it does look promising.
It doesn’t always work with great results a sits driven with AI but I tried it with a photo of myself and it was pretty good. Definitely could tell it was me. Maybe the photo you’re trying has low resolution or maybe there is too much going on? Mine was literally a photo of me, nothing else and no background.
I think it is adding stuff that is not in the original photo. That orangatang does not look at all like the oriiginal. The tiger has strip;es that are not in the original and those dogs have extra facial hair
This looks great, but as a dog person I have to say that it doesn’t do a great job of capturing the dogs expressions that convey their personalities. It’s still pretty amazing though, I’m going to use it to make some Christmas gifts and ornaments for my wife with our dog’s picture on them!
Unfortunately as it’s AI driven I don’t think they will ever match perfectly. But it’s by far the best application I found to do this with the click of a button 👍🏻
Fantastic. But can you slow down. What exactly are you clicking after moving the cursor. You are clearly very knowledgeable, but I am not. Need a lot more instruction before I can begin to use this wonderful tool. Jo
Single click the video and look for the Settings Gear in the top right corner. Click it and look for Playback speed in the drop down menu. Set the Playback speed to your preference.
Can you help me create a coloring sheet for my museum? I just need one, not ALL the credits. Thank you! I can give you credit one each coloring sheet, we have almost 5000 visitors a year
Kind of cool but might just as well start off straight away with chatGPT becuase the sight is not editing the original photo but using AI to offer something close. Fine if you are looking for something "general" but not so much if you are hoping to base on an orginal image.... good to know though! 👍
Using a good enough image can give you results newsletter spot on to the original and can save anyone hours of work especially if you have no knowledge of vector design 👍🏻
I tried it, I uploaded a photo of my kids, the generated photos the kids in the photo is something like AI generated on all of the generations not a single one of the children is even closely resembling the kids in the original photo. So I guess it might work with animals but with Human subjects its really not converting but generating its own thing.
Images are generated using AI. I have had some really good results with photos but have also had a couple of bad results. It all depends on the type of photo I’ve found. Just needs a bit of trial and error
Pfft! this is garbage! The site just generates an AI image that sort of looks like the sample. I loaded a image of a bald man and it gave him hair! The people don't even resemble the sample.
@@MARCAM Yeah, sure. There is way to use it right or wrong. You can tell it that a person is a different age or ethnicity but apart from that, it just generates random people based on what it recognizes. My sample was a family in front of a castle and it recognized it as such then drew just that - just not the actual people in the picture.
You can also edit the prompt it automatically generates. If you’re saying it’s giving a bald man hair then change the prompt to let it know it’s a bald man. This runs off AI it’s not going to be perfect. If you have any complaints or suggestions then drop the website owners an email. They’re pretty good at getting back to you
That's not for free mate . It's asking for your email address , it's setting you up an account without your permission , you can't download the sample image to see if you are happy with the printed image , all in one , I call it rubbish . Do understand you need to squeeze money from wherever you can but ... Nope !
It is literally free to use. I’m not sure how many times I need to say this. I know people don’t read everything or try something before commenting but it’s getting a bit ridiculous now.
These are quite clearly not direct conversions from the photos to the respective line drawings. The markings in the animals are not the same. I agree they look similar but they are not direct conversions. However, if you don't need an exact conversion, they do look good as an approximation. So your video title could be considered 'click bait'.
Oh, if only I’d seen this before creating and printing coloring books for my grandkids. Looking forward to trying it out in the future.
You made a coloring book I would love to make one for my grandkids. Do you make them. Please how can I reach you. I have a different email please
@ I made one each for my granddaughters, but it took a lot of trial and error and lots of time. I used Canva and photoshop for most of the it, and watched a few TH-cam videos to help along the way.
Ain't TH-cam grand!!!!!!! It opens up so many possibilities. The trick is( at least for me anyway) not to get lost in the possibilities.
I am going to try this with a photo of my late husband and past pets. I have friends that miss their pets and i could use toys to make awesome gifts for them.
Thank you, this opens the floodgates to creativity
Your tutorial is truly incredible. It is amazing. Great!!!

Great demonstration of app!
Absolute game changer. Thank you SO MUCH!❤️😁
Awesome. Thank you.
Does anyone else read the comments to find more information that's not being told to us.
No I watch the video and try it lol. Most people online are either stupid or a troll or both judging by some of these comments lol
So, how was it?
Always
Always
Thanks for this super video ! Exactly what I was searching for...
Thank you! Hope you get some amazing results from it too 😊
@ thanks 🙏 already tested. Will test my engraving technique with it !
This is is great and PS, AI is really good at making animal eyes look crazy 😂
It really does 😂 that cat definitely wanted to do some harm to something
That is really amazing! Thanks for the heads up on the website.
Thank you for the tip. It will really help me a lot.
Excelente, muchas gracias 🫂
This is amazing!
Are these vector outputs?
No, hi res 4k images that can be easily be traced
your video is very helpful for me. thanks for sharing it.
Excellent
Thank you for this information it looks really good the oil painting was great. But aren't these images copyrighted?
If you do it with your own images then you will own the rights to them 👍🏻
Awesome!
If anyone looking for a review, I tried it, gave it a castle and a house, a lot of artifacts, not enough free trials to convince me to buy extra credits.

It is mentioned, yes 👍🏻
Link also in the description
Good video thank you

Yeah you get charged another credit each time you resample 👍🏻
@@MARCAM That doesn't sound fair, some of the dog images in the last part of your video looked nothing like teh dog photo submitted.

When you are using the same image, and change the type result from color pages to different type.. Does it charge a credit for each one?
Yeah it will charge you a credit for each time you generate any image.
I just tried it using a picture of my wife. Unfortunately it was unrecognisable as my wife
I did it with a couple different photos of people and got mixed results. I found using clean, well lit photos worked best. I still need to do a bit of research on what works best but it does look promising.
😂 me also
That’s disappointing to hear as I planned to do an art piece of a family member for special birthday.
I wished it worked for me. I try but it's not even the same pic

Can they be saved in multiple file formats, like .png ? vector ?
No. As I demonstrated in the video, you need to convert it yourself to vector.
I'm trying to do this with a picture of my childrens father who passed 3 days before Xmas 2023... can you help?
Hi,
Sorry for your loss. Feel free to pop the image over to my email (it’s in the pages description) and I’ll have a look over the weekend for you 👍🏻
I'm a bit confused cause you said it's a free website but you you need to buy credits?
No you dont
I’m confused about the same… it’s free up to your certain number of uploads/conversions and then have to buy credits?
That’s correct. Free to use but if you want to use it past the free credits you have to pay a very small fee for more credits

I don’t think theres an app as of yet but it should work on your phones browser 👍🏻
Nope = did 2 line art and colour page and dog was distorted and I did not have any more credit?
What was the resolution of the image? And was it well lit?
Fantastic. But can you slow down. What exactly are you clicking after moving the cursor. You are clearly very knowledgeable, but I am not. Need a lot more instruction before I can begin to use this wonderful tool. Jo
Hi,
Do you have a time stamp of what part you’re lost at? I’ll have a look and try and break it down for you 👍🏻
Single click the video and look for the Settings Gear in the top right corner. Click it and look for Playback speed in the drop down menu. Set the Playback speed to your preference.
you can click the cog and click on speed and slow it down
Heck not just laser engraving! Drawing and painting and having a reference for it
It’s really good for making custom colouring books from photos too (good little Xmas ideas 😉)
💗
WTF couldn't hear any of the comments. What program are youusing!
As in the volume is too quiet? Because it’s pretty loud on my phone.
It’s shown on the screen and also in the description of that helps?
I heard easily 😊
@LindaHeartisan good for you. I had volume at max and still couldn't hear!
I’ve gotten 5 people to check and all confirmed sound was okay for them too. By process of elimination I’d maybe look at your speakers.
@@MARCAM tried again after these posts - had no problem today and watched to the end. Thank you.
Look closely. They are NOT exact.
The tiger grew a leg very wierdly
Hi, do you maybe have any credit left? :)
Hi,
I’ve got a few left yeah. Feel free to drop me an email if you want me to try an image for you. It’s in the about me part on my channel 👍🏻
@ thank you! Will do.
I tried it with a render of Serenity from Firefly. It made a horse....
I just tried it with a photo of Serenity from google and it turned out actually pretty good. Not perfect but a very good results

I can take a look at it. Feel free to drop me an email with the image and I’ll take a look at it for you 👍🏻
I tried and got weird results. AI generated fantasies. Maybe it was a bad source image?
Could be the image you’re using. There is a FAQ on the website which describes the best image to use. Their is also a prompt box you can amend to help
Tried it, what a load of crap it designs what it thinks you want not actually rendering from the photo
It’s okay

I mean if it’s too expensive for you then I’d suggest not using it 😂

Then copy the image into Inkscape and trace it or sign up and get some free credits.
price is very high
Um okay… not sure what I’m supposed to do about that sorry.
Yea right. And they want your email address. FOR WHAT would they want that??? To send you spam?
Portrait art link not working.
Just tried it my end and it’s working. Not sure if there was maybe a problem with it earlier.
freehand drawing will die out one day, eh?
