We try to service ours before any road trips and going to Moab. Every 5,000 miles would be great.

    Jack,
If you have a 2 DR with a 3" lift then we would suggest new front and rear driveshafts. With a 4dr just a new front one.

How often should the front driveshaft on a Jeep be removed and greased? What are good service intervals for each of these conditions: Highway, city, offroad dirt, and offroad mud? Thanks.

No need to remove the drive shaft to grease it. Just use a grease needle. The needle will reach and work with the standard fittings.

yes, except for that miserable fitting for the centering pin between the two Joints at the transfer case on the front driveline; you know, the one that never gets greased because its almost impossible to reach without drive-line removal.
      Thanks for watching.... Dennis

Do you need to do anything to your driveline when you have a 3" lift

Beats buying new driveshafts or having to install new u-joints.

@MrPhatcoder soon the tables will be turned. In real life she could easily beat up Dennis.

Having to do this every 5k miles seems a little tedious, no?
