Invest in a separate chain and sprocket sets for supermoto. A long track like this could make good use of a 15 tooth up front and a 45 in the rear. Go down to a 14t front for a moderately tight track, and stock gearing for a really tight track. That'll give you 3 distinct gear ratios to work with to stretch this thing out and keep you from feeling like you're going to blow it up. Stock gives you a .255, 14t/45 gives you .311, and a 15t/45 will give you .333. If you want to bridge the gap between stock and 14/45 go ahead and get a 13 as well for a .288. I’d even drag race my bike and best posted time was an 11.02 in the 1/4 mile even upset many cars especially this dude in a z06 who was talking trash to my buddies who had Subarus . He got so butt hurt when a dirtbike beat his holy grail corvette he never came back around after that run . Once you get ur hearing sorted you’ll be way faster I’m pretty sure I was over 110mph plus I had ran Baja designs gears for 5th/6th they allowed 10-15% better top end speed .
Looks SOOOOO fun

Did you calibrate your trail tech for the 17inch wheels before you went on the track? Your speed seemed off. Your top speed didn’t seem to match the rpms, I have the same bike to the tee and going over 60-70 I’m maxed out in rpms

I'm confused why some people don't use the gear in dirt bike and get more speed ? Theres like 5 or 6 gears right ?
who doesn’t?

Maybe a gearing switch next time. With that it would rip.
At least you didnt bring a low clearance cruiser like mine. You'd been dragging soft parts on most curves at speed.
I have a feeling the ktm 500 exc-f would have enough power to do this with the right gearing well.
Yeah this short ratio on the rx is a nono unfort
Not as well as you think. I had a 2014 and 2018 500exc and both feel gutless with gearing for top end speed. Those 450/510cc bikes are better suited at a supermoto or kart track. For a big track like this you’ll need a 701/690 since it has a street bike engine and gearing.

I wonder how an XR 650 would fair..
90mph sprocket what were you thinking hahaha
rev 'er bro... they make rebuild kits every day
How big is that enclosed trailer dawg?
The husky 701 and the ktm 690 are made for this
Would have been a blast!
They let you keep the kick stand?
a 701 would be nice here
Gotta gear it up for that track. And pull that kick-stand off of there man! I'm surprised they let you on the track with that thing on there!?
Because it's ignorant to not have one most if not all the bikes are street legal so why get rid of that get one that holds closer to the frame. If you don't want it.
@@joebone3151 when you take a street bike to the track you would remove the kickstand so it doesn't come out while your racing & launch you over the bars in a big high-side! But you keep racing with a kick-stand sport! lol
Id ike to see a trip to the track with each bike you own!

You shoulda changed the sprockets before you went
Agreed.
Would a 500cc 2 stroke handle those straights better?

Get a 700cc 2stroke on there 😂
The amount of ads on TH-cam in the modern age is sickening..
Put a bigger front sprocket on
If it was a 450 2 stroke this video would be watched by me
You gotta take that thing to a gokart track. Then you can really fly.
CBR! ride red get....well you know where this is going

If you regear it, would it have enough power at top end to go faster?

That was cool; I cringed every time you wound it out though.
What helmet are you using in this video?

You should put the sm wheels back on the 300l or upgear the 450

I get why you were going at the pace you were going but why was everyone else so slow? Even for C group that was let's say unimpressive. I didn't see anyone pass you. Where there some restrictions in place on overtaking?
Yeaaa boyyyyy

I would love to get my C8 out there!

Should have gotten different sprockets
Wow.
No corner entry speed and way slow throttle application.
