You should do temperature readings in different areas of each pond give an idea of what areas certain turtles and fish might prefere most and what else could thrive in there

Ahhh ... in each of us, there will always be the child we once were. I fell in love with rivers and ponds in Michigan. We were in the city of Ann Arbor (U of M town) but within walking distance to the Huron river. Dad built me a stone pond in the back yard and my brother, 14-years older than me, took me fishing. Now here I am, a 75 year old woman, living in the forested hills on the outskirts of Nashville Tennessee.... living my vicarious dream with Kamp Kenan . Thank You !

According to Internet geek lore keepers, the Eastman/Laird Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are mutated red-eared slider turtles.
To quote Johnny Carson, "I did not know that!"
PS -- The Kamp turtles aren't aware of BMX otherwise you'd see mini-tire markings all over the Kamp...
Meanwhile, a radiated is in the background going, "Ooh, clover!" 😉

So many turtle species have really amazing plastrons. Perhaps Aquascape could build an above ground pond with a clear side panel for viewing if they do that type of construction (if not, they should.) Those ponds have become quite popular and from a marketing standpoint Kenan’s would be a great location “showpiece” for Aquascape. Then the Pink-Bellied Sidenecks, Japanese Wood Turtles, etc, etc could be viewed & appreciated from every angle along with all the cichlids, like in a huge outdoor aquarium! Kenan just needs to turn up that NYC charm...! 😎
The shot at 11:30 was so cool. Literally made them look like dinosaurs seeing them high walk from that perspective.

Looks like all the males have an orange stripe running down the center (underside), of the tail. While, the female tails underside is fully, one color. (?? Yeah...??)
Made a dumb mistake few months back. I have a pond with a subglobosa and a west african side neck. Both the same size 3 inches+ and been together for 2 years ish but deff long time with no issues. I decided to attach a filter to the pond and the water got clear whereas previously it was like brown stagnant pond water. The african killed the subglobosa the next day. Then I remembered you mention in a video last time that murky water helps turtles hide from other turtles. Expensive mistake. 300 bucks gone.
Your husbandry and enclosures are a HUGE inspiratuon to me :^) thank you for letting us see and experience part of all pf the incredible work you put into your critters and their care. Would you ever be cool with people showing you their enclosures/ tanks/ set ups?

Can you talk about yellow-spotted Amazon Turtles Do they lay in Northern side of the equator in are summer or are winter. What is the month they lay in there Native Region And does it change if They're in a different environment.

Genuinely don't know as I've had some encounters with uni students in town getting upset in regards to the gender of my dog (a few times been told off, yelled at or calmly "educated" for calling my dog a he as I don't know what he identifies as. And had one student start crying and apologising to him for misgendering him as he said "She gorgeous" and I just pointed out "He's got a c*ck so is a boy" which caused them to have a breakdown wailing while apologizing to him 🤣😂😭😭)

Will say it's not as rampant/widespread as a lot conservative media makes it seem. But it does happen IRL just in pockets. And where I previously lived was one of those super woke pockets, when I say it's a pocket I mean that town specifically even compared to the surrounding towns due to the uni.

It might be the your turtle doesn't identify as a male. Have you ever asked its pronouns. In this crazy country people can identify as turtles. I'm sure a turtle can identity as anything as well. 😅
