Getting to see the Racoon City Outbreak from Umbrella hush men pov is a good idea that they used to it's fullest potential. Also I can't hate a game that includes the absolute unit that is HUNK!
I admit the game is somewhat bad and rushed. But it still keeps me interested to play. My favorite team assembly was always Bertha, Lupo, Beltway, and me controlling lead as Vector equipped with the Advanced Smg, The Samarai Edge Pistol and the cloak ability which comes in handy near the final level of the game when you have to take on all the zombies at the train yard. To avoid that fight, I would simply run past them while invisible and rush to the ladder.
I wanted to like this game, but it was really annoying at times. Especially when enemies are often bullet sponges. And Capcom selling separate missions for a price (on a 4-hour game) felt like utter greed.

ORC could've been amazing and I have to give credit to the developer for the effort they did put in. They weren't the right developer for this kind of game, and historically whenever Capcom has outsourced development to a 3rd party the result has almost always been terrible. Capcom has an absolute grand slam lined up with ORC though because multiplayer PVE games are in high demand right now, and as much as a hate to say it an ORC remake would be a very effective platform for monetization. If they remade ORC in their new REngine like the RE2 and 4 remakes, it could be one of the greatest RE games ever made.

I agree that this so much potential but I see the fun in multiplayer mode.
For me RE stopped be horror after 3 and stopped being good after 4 I really was disappointed with the series at 5 and beyond, but even then many of the side games were crap. And only some were really worthwhile experiences.
I liked 7&8 And I actually liked all 3 modern remakes we got so far, yes even REmake 3, and so far even if I'm frustrated by Capcom still I don't think they're gonna botch RE again... Yet. Just gonna have to wait to see what's next.

Bro's name is beltway. Worst cover mechanics in a game ever. It's also a wildly unbalanced game if you play alone. I hate this old co-op era of Capcom so much. I've played multiple RE games old and new and have 100% achievements in a lot of them. I beat RE3 remake on one of the hardest difficulties in just over an hour. A lot of the issues of RE for that era came from copying other games, notably L4D2 and COD. RE to me has always been a single player focused experience and should remain that way. Hopefully RE5 and RE6 are remade and massively retconned. You can even keep the co-op but just make it non-canon. Sheva is really not that important to anything. RE6 should be completely chopped apart to set up RE7 and RE8.
Far better than mid, a LARGE portion of the community still plays it. The characters are meant to be mysterious to a degree that’s why they feel somewhat generic, they’re supposed to be similar to Hunk. Also the mechanics of the game, were great. Lastly please explain the “scummy business practices” because RE: ORC is far better than games that would come 10 years after its release. *cough cough* RE: Resistence, RE: Verse, fortnight?
Most of the people complaining about this game didn’t grow up in the snes ps1 64 days. We were so accustomed to shitty controls , that any improvement at all, is enough not to cry the blues about. Sure this game is pretty crappy , but there is no other game in this “IP” even tho, it’s far from sanctioned / canon , that will let you mow down zombies , a cover shooter. More people focus on the bad than the silver linings it seems. And frankly , it’s sad to say, that if someone can’t be good at a bad game,in fact RUN THAT SHIT, you kinda just suck as a gamer

So yeah got a refund
I was so much of a RE fanboy back then that I bought this and RE 6 on day 1 with money I DID NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO BE SPENDING. College days are when you make bad decisions kids lol
Resident Evil has like 3 highs and 40 lows.
Was playing this on PC years ago on campaign mode but never finished it due to availability but I got a good copy on 360 an I love it. ❤ not a fan of 3rd person shooter i.e gears of war or mass effect and others but this is the only 3rd person game I love. I agree that this so much potential but I see the fun in multiplayer mode.
Yeah no it's not the best of games, but it's a blast playing with a friend.
Hunk the ebt version of Leon
still better than kane and lynch though, or any other IO Interactive games
For me RE stopped be horror after 3 and stopped being good after 4
I really was disappointed with the series at 5 and beyond, but even then many of the side games were crap. And only some were really worthwhile experiences.
I liked 7&8
And I actually liked all 3 modern remakes we got so far, yes even REmake 3, and so far even if I'm frustrated by Capcom still I don't think they're gonna botch RE again... Yet.
Just gonna have to wait to see what's next.
Bro it ended with 5 not 4 cause 6 is shit 7 feels like some weird Outlast rip off sometimes and 8 is just some weird fucking identity crisis like does it want to be Van Helsing? or RE? man I really hope RE9 isn't another not great first person game I mean 7 & 8 are good game's just not good RE game's they don't feel like RE like at all Resident Evil is Biological horror shit I don't get that at all with 8 sometimes with 7 but not in the freakiest of ways like the OG game's
Spin-offs with co-op cough RE Outbreak cough could work really well too. If any co-op game needs love, it's definitely that one.
This comes to no surprise
Braver words have never been said
11:16 lmfao
Far better than mid, a LARGE portion of the community still plays it.
The characters are meant to be mysterious to a degree that’s why they feel somewhat generic, they’re supposed to be similar to Hunk.
Also the mechanics of the game, were great.
Lastly please explain the “scummy business practices” because RE: ORC is far better than games that would come 10 years after its release. *cough cough* RE: Resistence, RE: Verse, fortnight?
I hate how PlayStation locks the game behind its crappy ps+ premium membership. I wanna play so badly but it’s being held hostage!
You cant buy it digitally anymore, buy the physical copy like I did 2 weeks ago.
Just like your mother.
People who say games on the ps1 or older control bad or weird are wrong good greif why
@@zerospikeftwgaming is about adapting , not having everything spoon fed to your likes and needs. Bottom line
@@mikerotch6989 Having fun with a lot of different specific things in many games, are whole things to learn in of them self's. I've taught my self to enjoy some, like "movement" in any game and how to enjoy many different choice's, like dark souls and the many different weapon's. You gotta learn to enjoy stuff, which is kinda weird to explain
u the goat of zombie games bruh, every day wating for you video, hope many success on your channel dawg 🙏🙏
I really wanted to like this game and I bought it day one. Man this game SUCKED!
I enjoyed the game but ending was shit. Shouldn't have gone with the What if? style of story
Forget Mid, this game is absolutely garbage
