RE3 is my Jam it was the first RE Game I beat 26 Years ago… So of course the Remake was good as well I don’t mind a few cut content because I hated the Water Puzzle in the Original and I doubt no one wanted to play that Puzzle again it’s the Most Hated Puzzle in RE Lore I believe!
Fan Speedrun Fact: if you look at the ceiling with your camera when you meet the hunters at 16:08 they will not attack you. In most cases inside the hospital they wont attack you if you look up cause you make no eye contact. There is a certain room with 2 hunters where you have to retrieve a cassette with Bard's voice on it where this trick wont work. I do not think they have fixed this but give it a try if you want and let me know. Have a good day !

He did some walking only playthroughs on Inferno Diff of RE2 and RE3 if I remember correctly. Also your videos are amazing. i have actually played resident evil 3 remake so much that i can easily outrun and outmaneuver the big dude the only parts i still struggle with a little are the hunter’s in the hospital area and the one boss fight where big boy turns into a dog and runs around all crazy like

I've liked jill since the first og re, and I found it a bit too extreme where the wall bug creature lifts her and parasites her throat, which the only cure is an immediate green herb, and there's also a book that one of the security left down in that area, that the same thing happened to him, and he shoved a green herb down his throat to force the bugs back up for him, I do love your video, already subbed and thumbs up, keep up the greatness.
I feel like it wouldve been challenging but cool if at the end of that bug segment, you find that security guard dead but with the cure by his side. Instead of using green herbs which made it easy, doing that wouldve made this part more memorable

Hey man, nice video. I've gotten my platinum right after release, but every now and then I enjoy watching other people get it if the video is done well and yours is. I'm with you on the final verdict as I also haven't played the original, but enjoyed the remake. It was kinda short, but like Dark Souls 2 I find that it's often quite overhated even though it's not a bad game. I think it took me maybe 25h, but I enjoyed every second of it except the last Nemesis encounter on Inferno which is still a bane of my existence.
I played this game in January. Picked it back up this month and finally finishing it today but on assisted mode as I wanted to enjoy the story. Looking at your video makes me want to try the hardcore mode
Tip it took me 3 months to 100% re3 because i left the rocket 4 last in the store i have a great tip 4 the flame thrower fight when u break the flame thrower fule tank u can still damage nemesis so if u r speed running throw a grenade 1 time at nemesis when he says stars one bullet will put him down if in nighrmare or inferno use 2 grenades

I am consistently surprised everytime I go onto the speedrun database (mostly to remind myself that they deserve mad respect) specifically this game and the original both have very similar times for completed speedruns (40 minutes each) and I love that the director for the RE3R was a programmer on the original (along with a few others btw) and it was what they wanted remake 3 with trimming the excess fat because OG3 wasn't that important (I have heard that RE3 was supposed to be Code Veronica the adventures of the Redfield sublings. but development hell happened and OG3 got there first) apart from Jill's infection and RC being nuked honestly i like RE3R more then RE2R I just wish the fight with Carlos helping us was in first person (add to the difficulty) i think there is a mod but i have not found it (also there should have been an official chievement for knife only because Jill is known for it... as soon as i remember how to unhide games on steam guess what i'm trying on all the modes? knife only... handgun only... no heal with no coins on hardcore maybe) I have watched original Nemesis twice and i still have no idea what happened I vaguely remember a clock tower being an asinine way of getting somewhere else so idk (the only reason the game seems longer from what i can tell is because of the choices go this way or that way)
Another simple thing I appreciate about Re3r is the file that mentions burning the bodies because in Re1 hd remaster in the first safe room we get to there is a file telling us to burn the bodies if we don’t take out the head
This is a fun game, I love the combat system, its so good on inferno. I believe the only reason people trash on it is because it's missing the main thing that made the original unique in the series; the Nemesis choice based encounters. Thats kinda my only gripe with it. The missing areas suck too but that's a minor thing for me as i dont really remember the maps from the original anyway.

i saw in the re2 video that you had the quarry in your library. it would be awesome to see you get platinum in that game! although it'll probably take quite some time to make, but nevertheless, it would be an awesome video to watch!
@@JackOfAllGames_TV Just saying even if your time goes over 2 hours you can just double load your last save or quit to main menu and then load your save and all your time will reset back to what time you saved the first time you got to the typewriter. Also kinda disappointed you used the rocket launcher, it’s a fun challenge trying to do it with no shop items
I grew up with RE3 Nemesis, on the PSOne, played it religiously, was my absolute favorite RE game. So when they announced the RE3 remake I was there in an instant, bought it digitally Day One and then experienced instant regret. If you’ve never played the original, it’s a fine game, if quite a bit short. But as a Remake of the original it pales considerably in comparison. I gotta hand it to anyone that can beat the game on the hardest difficulty. That shit is so broken it isn’t funny. And I still have not been able to do it
Yh im still wanting to experience the OG since i know the remake did a poor job on including everything from it. Inferno did take me like 6 restarts early on so luckily i wasnt too time consuming
@@JackOfAllGames_TV I have to tip my hat to you, I haven’t played the remake for like 2 years, was on my Nightmare playthrough and stuck at the final boss. But after watching your video, I redownloaded the game and got to work. Probably took me half an hour this time, but I actually managed it even though that shit nearly had me in tears. Then turned around and did it again because my time was too high for an S Rank. I will say, that having both defense coins helps A LOT more than I thought it would. As long as he only fist slams you twice you can heal provided you have enough time before he starts attacking you again. I do hope you get to experience RE3 Nemesis at some point and I hope you love it the way the fans do. It was available digitally when I had a PS3, but I dunno if Capcom carried it over to the 4 and 5
If I vaguely remember I think I did end up going back for that after missing it. Its weird there are some really obvious things that that which I miss and I do it too often haha
You can do it in 3 runs after the first one just go back to previous saves. Then do the inferno run then you have to do the no item box and no heal it’s Just difficult.
I highly suggest getting the platinum for the game Control. It can be done in all 1 save file, the DLC is really good and again the trophies are simple. I see you played alan wake 1 and 2 so ull highly enjoy Control since its all connected, thats if u havent played it before
Yh Control is on my LONG list of games i havnt played yet, plus i played Quantum Break years ago and enjoyed that so i know ill like the Plat for Control

Yh its not a long game for a normal completion but the difficulty trophies can be time consuming. Especially when there is a time limit against you at the same time
Even wolverine is ashamed of his regeneration because Nemesis not only regen from that acid bath, but also became bigger. Seriously, how the fck did he regen from all that when every flesh and bones of his is being melted faster than he can regenerate. Poor Nemesis becoming a big lump of meat as his final form. Berkin, Eveline and now Nemesis. Mr. X was fortunate.

I platinum'd RE2R, RE3R and RE4R 2 and 3 were easy as shit. 4 gave me some trouble because of the pirate minigame (no mouse and keyboard). Go for the DMC5 plat if you a real one bruh 😏
I've already done all the 3 shooting range trophies and luckily on controller I didn't struggle. Never played any if the DMC games but I wouldn't be apposed to trying them one day
Actually "Nemesis Down!!!" is a lie too. Word of God is that the railgun didn't kill Nemesis. The _nuke_ did. Yeah. That's right. Nemesis got its _head and spinal column area pulped by a fucking railgun and was still alive!_
My advice to you is to save the “shop” points you earn to get the two extra storage packs (the RPD fanny packs) and to buy all the “defensive coins” for extra HP. If you still have enough points buy two “health coins” so that you’re health will slowly regenerate over time. This advice will help you with the inferno run for the final boss-and believe me: it’s necessary.
There is going to be one. I only did a casual playthrough back when the remake comes out, but i am currently doing a platinum playthrough so dont you worry, a video ill be coming in the near future
So for the time being, im gonna make RE4 into plat vid and then kinda see what series people want to see me play next. Id like to do RE5 & 6 with a co-op partner and then RE7 & 8 I will cover at a later date. Kind've need a RE break so i dont get burned out on them. Dont get me wrong, i love the franchise but i have a mass library of other games i want to do first
This probably isnt useful anymore but you couldve done it in 1 or 2 playthroughs since if you do it on inferno it unlocks the difficultys below it and considers it as done, if that makes sense lol, i did it this way myself
The biggest gripe I have with RE3 remake is that in the demo of 2Make, it was heavily implied that Nemesis was in the police station which would be in line with original RE3 where JIll returns to the RCPD to get equipment and Nemesis chases her. It was heavily implied that the hole in the 3rd floor wall was caused by Nemesis chasing her. All these implications lead no where and the PD was cut entirely for Jill meaning in isolation from even the original content, everything set up for RE3R was dropped.
Ok so don't get me wrong it is a very difficult level to complete but it's all about trial and error. You'll come to some of the later areas which you might require a Grenade to clear it, so then you know not to use any up until that point. Also don't forget that you don't have to kill every Zombie that in your way. You can shoot a Zombie just once in the head which will stun it long enough for you to run by. It's just all about knowing what you have in your inventory and when is the best possible time to use said item. Once you get that sorted then it will make the level a lot easier for you

@@JackOfAllGames_TV Just saying even if your time goes over 2 hours you can just double load your last save or quit to main menu and then load your save and all your time will reset back to what time you saved the first time you got to the typewriter. Also kinda disappointed you used the rocket launcher, it’s a fun challenge trying to do it with no shop items

I grew up with RE3 Nemesis, on the PSOne, played it religiously, was my absolute favorite RE game.
So when they announced the RE3 remake I was there in an instant, bought it digitally Day One and then experienced instant regret.
If you’ve never played the original, it’s a fine game, if quite a bit short. But as a Remake of the original it pales considerably in comparison.
I gotta hand it to anyone that can beat the game on the hardest difficulty. That shit is so broken it isn’t funny. And I still have not been able to do it
Yh im still wanting to experience the OG since i know the remake did a poor job on including everything from it.
Inferno did take me like 6 restarts early on so luckily i wasnt too time consuming
@@JackOfAllGames_TV I have to tip my hat to you, I haven’t played the remake for like 2 years, was on my Nightmare playthrough and stuck at the final boss. But after watching your video, I redownloaded the game and got to work. Probably took me half an hour this time, but I actually managed it even though that shit nearly had me in tears. Then turned around and did it again because my time was too high for an S Rank.
I will say, that having both defense coins helps A LOT more than I thought it would. As long as he only fist slams you twice you can heal provided you have enough time before he starts attacking you again.
I do hope you get to experience RE3 Nemesis at some point and I hope you love it the way the fans do. It was available digitally when I had a PS3, but I dunno if Capcom carried it over to the 4 and 5

You can do it in 3 runs after the first one just go back to previous saves. Then do the inferno run then you have to do the no item box and no heal it’s Just difficult.
I did the platinum and I have to say the only problem I had was the final boss on the hardest difficulty.
yh I had to restart the S+ a few times since I was dying at silly spots but yh the final boss fight was the worst thing about it.
I highly suggest getting the platinum for the game Control. It can be done in all 1 save file, the DLC is really good and again the trophies are simple. I see you played alan wake 1 and 2 so ull highly enjoy Control since its all connected, thats if u havent played it before
Yh Control is on my LONG list of games i havnt played yet, plus i played Quantum Break years ago and enjoyed that so i know ill like the Plat for Control

One of the easiest platinum ever, even without using infinite ammo weapons once, it took me 22 hours casually.
Yh its not a long game for a normal completion but the difficulty trophies can be time consuming. Especially when there is a time limit against you at the same time
Even wolverine is ashamed of his regeneration because Nemesis not only regen from that acid bath, but also became bigger.
Seriously, how the fck did he regen from all that when every flesh and bones of his is being melted faster than he can regenerate.
Poor Nemesis becoming a big lump of meat as his final form. Berkin, Eveline and now Nemesis. Mr. X was fortunate.
I was for sure certain that he was dead but hey its an RE game, anything can happen i guess 🤣

I platinum'd RE2R, RE3R and RE4R
2 and 3 were easy as shit.
4 gave me some trouble because of the pirate minigame (no mouse and keyboard).
Go for the DMC5 plat if you a real one bruh 😏
I've already done all the 3 shooting range trophies and luckily on controller I didn't struggle.
Never played any if the DMC games but I wouldn't be apposed to trying them one day

Well make sure you have the infinite rocket launcher. that will help massively for your inferno run
My advice to you is to save the “shop” points you earn to get the two extra storage packs (the RPD fanny packs) and to buy all the “defensive coins” for extra HP. If you still have enough points buy two “health coins” so that you’re health will slowly regenerate over time.
This advice will help you with the inferno run for the final boss-and believe me: it’s necessary.

i dont know how, but like, inferno difficulty wasnt that big of a deal for me :( maybe because i had farmed before in order to have unlimited rpg etc?
Inferno on the final Nemesis fight was probably the only difficult part I had with the game
This probably isnt useful anymore but you couldve done it in 1 or 2 playthroughs since if you do it on inferno it unlocks the difficultys below it and considers it as done, if that makes sense lol, i did it this way myself
Is still useful advice to know. Think i was fine with 1st playthrough being just casual, then the 2nd for any clean up, them the 3rd for inferno

So the edition of the game that I got unlocked those difficulties for me so I was able to move straight on to it
The biggest gripe I have with RE3 remake is that in the demo of 2Make, it was heavily implied that Nemesis was in the police station which would be in line with original RE3 where JIll returns to the RCPD to get equipment and Nemesis chases her. It was heavily implied that the hole in the 3rd floor wall was caused by Nemesis chasing her.
All these implications lead no where and the PD was cut entirely for Jill meaning in isolation from even the original content, everything set up for RE3R was dropped.
which game should i buy RE2 or RE3?
I'd recommend RE2, it's longer, better and makes sense to play before RE3. If your playing on PlayStation then they are both free on PS plus too
I'm going for the re2 plat how'd you do the 4th survivor mode I can't get past it
Ok so don't get me wrong it is a very difficult level to complete but it's all about trial and error. You'll come to some of the later areas which you might require a Grenade to clear it, so then you know not to use any up until that point.
Also don't forget that you don't have to kill every Zombie that in your way. You can shoot a Zombie just once in the head which will stun it long enough for you to run by.
It's just all about knowing what you have in your inventory and when is the best possible time to use said item. Once you get that sorted then it will make the level a lot easier for you
