The charm of his character is that he’s a old nerd journalist that is a bit sassy but a decent human being. To me he kinda has an Ada Wong type of appeal where he always tries to collect himself and figure out what has to be done no matter how troubled he is. If they wanted a grizzled tough protagonist, Chuck Greene was literally right there. Of course…. he shouldn’t be written with the same writing Frank got in DR4.

Dead Rising is one of my favorite game series ever. DR1, DR2 and Off the Record are some of the best games ever imo. I would even say DR3 was good, not great but good. DR4 was just a disaster. I hated it so much with how it ruined Frank and its stupid retcons. Never even played Frank Rising. The only thing I sort of like about 4 is its Christmas theme and even then that is not enough to bring me back. I hate how it killed the series.
Capcom vc devs had multiple passion projects being built behind the scenes. Im pretty sure they were told to churn another DR out. But I do know they worked on a more cinematic/ dark/ moody DR that was supposed to take place in Mexico on day of the dead. No idea what happened to it
@@theoneandonly06 capcom Vancouver shut down. A lot of talented people lost their jobs cuz they were forced to throw dr4 together last minute. Part of the reason the ending was partially locked behind dlc & a ton of items couldn't be interacted with. Had no time for refinement or polishing. A lot of those devs didn't think dr4 was going in the right direction & weren't too enthusiastic about adding exo suits. But the corporates up top were convinced they knew better than the devs. The skeleton for the game probably still exists but a different studio would have to flesh it out. Tonal shift would've been deadrisings version of RE switching to first person after fans demanded more horror than action. Somewhat of a soft reboot. Wouldn't be surprise to see a full reboot soon.
@@TG-pq9zf I wouldn’t mind a reboot but I’d prefer if they just erased what happened in DR4 or make it like a parody within the universe like someone else suggested. But I do love the idea of a more serious tone shift, feel like that would really help with reviving the series.
Dead Rising 5 was going to give Katey psychic zombie powers so I really doubt it would've been any better. As for what happened with CV, during the development of 3 and later 4 they wanted to pitch a couple new IPs to Capcom JPN and both were rejected because Capcom felt they would be too ambitious to fund and CV didn't have a good track record in terms of budgeting and turning a profit. CV bled money for Capcom so until they could really prove Dead Rising could be a hit series they weren't going to budge. However one factor people neglect in both 3 and 4 is Microsoft, Microsoft got heavily involved in the creative process of 3 and 4 even moreso than Capcom themselves. The "Darker and grittier" direction one of the games was taking was I believe an earlier build of 4 called "Climber" and it was heavily influenced by The Last of Us as Microsoft wanted a LoU equivalent on their systems to compete with Sony. When Capcom heads got involved and saw what CV presented them they were furious because it was nothing like a dead rising game anymore. So no, Dead Rising 4 didn't "only have one year" dead rising 4's development was wasted on a totally different direction that wasn't like the series at all pushed heavily by Microsoft who were providing CV additional funding ever since 3. And ever since 3 CV upper management has been increasingly terrible and the devs were pretty openly miserable about their jobs and said they didn't blame Capcom JPN for taking the actions they did with the company.
Dead Rising 4 was a game that felt like it was striving to be mediocre and managed to fall short of even that. An absolutely miserable way to end the series.
If they ever did make a Dead Rising 5 I wanted 4 to be retconned into being a crappy made for tv movie that’s supposed to be a “sequel” to Frank’s book. Frank wrote the script or at least approved of it as a quick cash grab, It’s all there - Frank feels more like a generic action movie hero with bad quips and catchphrases - Frank doesn’t look or even sound like Frank so it could be some actor - Going back to Willamette for an incredibly contrived reason is lazy writing for both a video game and movie. - Him turning into a zombie only for it to be cured is so stupid and pathetic it could only happen in a bad “Hollywood ending”
This is actually similar to a few ideas floated around some years back on the Dead Rising Reddit. One person suggested that DR4 should be retconned into a terrible movie and that Hank East was an actor hired to play Frank but the project turned into a complete joke when they pushed the real Frank out of the project kinda like how Dragon Ball evolution turned out after pushing out the original creator. lol
Idk why but watching this reminded me of that odd port of the original Dead Rising on the Wii called Chop till you Drop The one that ran on a modified version the RE4 Wii editions engine Anyways I enjoyed the vid and hopefully you’ll have a good Christmas

Resident Evil 4 could have also struck a good balance between survival horror and action horror, as well as Leon's character development, but it didn't.
Exactly, the cheesiness did not feel forced in the old games. DR4 devs said, lets just make Frank a retard who tries to act like a influencer. It would have been more badass to just have him act the same, stuck in his older ways/methods contrasting the modern social media stuff.
Dude your editing and talking points were genuinely great! Looking forward to watching more vids from you. As a massive fan of DR1 and 2/OTR I'm so glad I dodged the bullet with this one, I still remember the outrage when it was announced that TJ Rotolo wouldn't be returning to voice Frank despite his openness and clear enthusiasm to come back and voice the character but in the long run I'm glad he didn't, this game feels like a waking nightmare with it's cringe fanfic tier writing and TJ keeping away from it, for me, was for the best.
Having no psychopaths in it should’ve been enough to tell me not to buy it. RIP my all time favorite franchise, here’s to hoping it can somehow make a comeback one day.
Psychopaths weren't the only thing enjoyable about the series though. I get it's different from the others but the game gets too much hate. Give it a chance, you may appreciate it for what it is.
Look how they slaughtered my boy😭 Frank was neutered down to a "generic new age" Somehow a whole new character ...And exactly what my worst nightmares had in mind ruined my favorite zombie killer in games when dead rising 1 and even 3 was not even bad to..it is sad to me that xbox had the rights to dead rising 3 but it got a bad rep due to xbox promoting the Xbox Kinect original Xbox one (which I own still with DR3) it's fun at first but it's such a dumb niche feature that it gets laughable.
I think you were so close in a lot of what you were trying to get across. The exo suit gimmick was huge around COD and other stuff, the mindless "event" nearby and clear this place out was from the popularity of far cry and the "Dynamic living environment" which just so happened to be set locations over and over. Dead Rising 1-3 and all in between. A vocal minority hated the timed gameplay, or how difficult it was to get survivors out so they made both completely brain dead and removed friendly fire AND the fact you had a deadline so the tension of how hard you could push yourself went out the window, unlike that chair lol. I feel like failure of DR4 was the makers really trying to appeal to everyone for a safe and profitable game to appeal to many who were not even going to purchase it. Like you said at the start, you went in with set ideals and fancies for it and you shortly found out a small group screamed and cried hard enough to get the game they didn't want and boom. Fast forward to now it's only got worse in some cases. Dig your work though!
they turned dead rising into a mindless zombie killing game with no stakes. ruined existing characters and lore. etc. this game was literally made in 1 year, Vancouver were forced to scrap everything and start over. the pitch to bring back frank and willamette was the reaction to capcom japan making them scrap their current work to make a more traditional dr game. (plenty of vids covering it on yt, it was being called climber i think). they went out of their way to recast franks VA because "frank is older now", even though tj rotolo was actually right around the same age as frank apparently.. gameplay wise every single thing is streamlined or removed, from available weapons on the ground to survivors and "maniacs". bugs and glitches everywhere, horrible color, constant crashes, online was always a mess. dr4 is a 3/10 if it was not a dead rising game it still would get a 4.5/10 for everyone who just "wants to kill zombies mindlessly" or "don't care about a story or lore" etc. that is exactly why every other dead rising game let you do just that, fail a mission in dr1 and 2? well click continue and you can mindlessly wander the malls. otr added sandbox mode with challenged for single player and coop. on top of dr2 and otr having full story mode being fully coop as well. TLDR: dr4 is trash, it was rushed to be made in 1 year, script rewrites constantly. if you just want to kill zombies play literally any other dr game, or left4dead2 or dying light 1.
Players who hate the timer when the games actually tried to accommodate them: "This series is so hard, I wish I could just kill zombies without a timer." 1 also had infinity mode which was a harder experience but not that different than OTR's sandbox mode.

16:54 the problem I have with their statement saying they needed Frank to sound more grizzlied, or sounding more older, is that it can be possible with the same voice actor. RE2 remake and re4 remake is the same dude, but because of the writing and the voice actor able to use his talent to make the character sound and seem more mature, it works
Even tho i have the frank riding dlc i gave frank the good ending imo which is him becoming a zombie and just letting him rest at this point after all he’s been through rip frank cant wait to see you reincarnated back to dead rising 1 reboot hope they dont butcher this timeline or game 😩😩😩😩
Here's how to fix the plot in this game. frank is a photography teacher like he is in the game, but he's found a passion for teaching a new generation of journalists. With Vick who Frank has a soft spot for and tries to mentor her, but she desperately wants a scoop so frank and her argue about what being a reporter is really about, leading to the events of the outbreak and the game. I think it would have been a solid direction to take Frank's character. So basically change some stuff around, fix the gameplay to make it like the previous games and give Vick the unlikable personality that hank east has in this game to develop her as a character. That would require passion though, something the devs of this game clearly lacked.
Apparently Vick doesn't changed her clothes for 20 years. Thats how they know its her. Also, Capcom been doing this shit with every release. They destroyed Marvel vs Capcom, then Resident Evil, then Dead Rising and the list goes on.
@chandllerburse737 Revived how? They just started beating a dead horse at this point. RE7 is the worst of the franchise. Doesn't even look or play like a RE game. Then there is the "REMAKES" like Capcom doesn't even understand what this word means, the games are all reboots, which made every game released after the classics complete nonsense lore wise. They managed to destroy every single character in the franchise, from Ada to Jill, to Chris and even fucking Alissa. The IP has no soul anymore.
@@abnnizzyI really don't know how you can say the series has gotten worse when we got shit like 5,6, Umbrella Chronicles, ORC, etc. There are worse Resident Evil games, there have always been worse resident evil games, the current games whether to your liking or not are better made and have more care put into them than many other titles new and old alike. They may not be better than all the classic games but that doesn't mean they're bad.
@@Hi_Just_Fred 5 was ok. 6 had outstanding writing at least. Umbrella Chronicles was awesome, they expanded the lore without disregarding the classics, which is what the so called remakes should've done. The other spin off are only that: Spin Offs. ORC can be enjoyable if you take it for what it is: A what if scenario. Now, what did RE7 done for the franchise besides destroying Chris a character and having the most uncharismatic protagonist of all time? With a story that is connected to the other games by a thread? And the remakes that shitted all over the classics? RE4 Remake was the fasted refund I've ever did. The original is 100% better.
This game being Christmas themed made me really hate it even more and frank being hank east just because they wanted a new actor made me hate it far more.

Very often when Canadian game studios take on an established property, they make a game that is worse than the previous installments. Like when Eidos Montreal made the final Tomb Raider reboot game. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was so much worse than the previous two games. Canadian studies seem to be sub-par in many cases.
I grew up as a huge Dead Rising fan (I still am lol) and I was so fucking dissapointed when i got this game. Why did they ruin my boy Frank, thats not frank, thats Hank East.
I think this game was the drop that forced Capcom to change direction, and focus on making, ya know, good games. And it seems it has been working; MH world, DMC 5, RE, heck, even Dragon Dogma is back with a sequel. I hope Dead Rising eventually returns as well.. And maybe some old IPs
No that was Resident Evil 6 for capcom themselves, after that was received poorly they let the last few RE projects that they greenlit get released then reassessed their priorities with RE7, the remakes and so on. Dead Rising 4 was a CV problem, and CV was a problem for Capcom because they kept wasting money and not turning a profit. Hence why they finally pulled the plug on them.
@@Hi_Just_Fred CV was a problem for Capcom because CV kept wanting to do other things than churn out Dead Rising games. DR4 wasn't even supposed to be a Dead Rising game but the Capcom executives saw it and basically flipped off CV and then told them to make it into DR4.

capcom japan gave capcom Vancouver only a year to make the game and every game was made by completely different people which didn’t help things. rushing them for a christmas release really screwed this game. but the staff that worked on this game were idiots.
1. No Capcom did not give them one year, they wasted a lot of dev time trying to make it a last of us clone before scrapping and starting over. 2. Not every game was made by different people, staff gradually left and new people were brought on. 1 was all Capcom, 2 was part capcom devs and mostly Blue Castle(CV) with Keiji Inafune overseeing it, 3 was just CV devs and some people from Blue Castle who were still with CV at the time, DR4 initially was being worked on by an older team of CV before they left after the project sat in development hell and CV higher ups decided to make two teams to work on 4 and 5 simultaneously only for 4 to be burdened by the same higher ups forcing the new devs to stick to old gimmicks and 5 was just cancelled after 4 flopped. 3. The devs who worked on the projects were victims of bad management from CV higher ups, they know the game was bad and are disappointed having worked on it. All the blame is on CV higher ups with this one, and THEY are who lied through their teeth about the game in pre-release interviews. All of this information has been documented in various videos and posts/interviews online.
I remember the lil side game with the protag from 2 Frank was constantly reassuring him and making sure he was OK. Capcom, you're doing good now just do us a favor and reboot the first game with an explorable Map and Town.
Also forgot to mention the remember the first game came out when Bayonetta Dante's Inferno and DMC Devil May Cry remastered collection all came out it isn't as prominent in the first two games but damn if it isn't noticeable it's just it tries so hard in the fourth game to do everything that the first two games had and it ends up making it look weird when you crank it all up to 11 I mean yeah the game was originally not supposed to be taken as seriously but still taken seriously but now it's just why
After enjoying the hell out of dead rising 3; I was so hyped for the release of dead rising 4 and it was so fucking awful I literally couldn’t even come near to finishing it
My issue of the game is the categorised weapons so now instead of being able to pick up anything and throw it at the zombie for a good laugh you're not even able to do that anymore instead you have to find specific throwing weapons you can't melee with your guns anymore and it just takes away the variety
Am I really the only one here that genuinely had good memories of this game? Granted I haven’t played it since its release but man I remember thoroughly enjoying this game especially because of the Christmas vibe!
My family ruined December for me last christmas, I don't think I'll every speak to them on the 25th ever again. Plan on walking around town in full cowboy get up. Better to make strangers happy than my family, what could be funnier than a guy dressed weirdly?
Unpopular opinion: DR4 to me is...fine. Worst game in the series, but on it's own, just a mere distraction Not a horrible experience, but I definitely felt like I needed a better use of my time.
It wasn't fine, it was a glitchy, ugly mess that was so poorly put together that the first game in the series is more technologically superior than it. It is objectively a bad game, even the stupid golf game was glitchy and stupid.
@@MysteriousTomJenkins Like I said, Unpopular Opinion. I'm aware that the game is poorly made, but I still got something resembling enjoyment, even if it was sparse compared to the older entries. Still, I wouldn't recommend this if you or anyone is a diehard fan of the series because, sparse enjoyment or not, this is still the worst game in the series.
A game needs to be more than "passably entertaining at times" to even be "fine" Like, nearly any bad game experience can be squeezed for "yeah I'm kinda having fun" That's the baseline, not a sign of any real quality.
@@Hi_Just_Fred That's kind of what I was doing. Again, even though I some fun moments with it, I still could've found much better uses for my time. Still, Frank Rising was nice distraction, the exosuits were pretty cool, and I still got a laugh or two from this so it's not a total slog to get through.
It didn't, it was confirmed higher ups at CV specifically didn't consult him or offer for him to return. They wanted to recast him from the beginning, probably because they thought he wouldn't be good for the "material" they gave Frank in this game
I remember playing this game dead. Rising 4 and I really liked it. But I wanna see your point of view some interested in your video. I also have this game for p. S4 and Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising one for Xbox
Resident Evil 4 could have also struck a good balance between survival horror and action horror, as well as Leon's character development, but it didn't.
the blackest friday difficulty is so much fun for me lol I hated the game on normal so for me adding the difficulties did actually allow me to enjoy the game no time limit means you can find super creative and elaborate ways in the sandbox to dominate enemies even in blackest friday you just need to plan and have like strats it is so fun for me even if you start with a fresh save although you def need to abuse the kick to make it ouf the intro without deaths if you start out on level blackest friday. I love being terrified of the zombies sure it is very different form of challenge but it doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. While this doesn't fix many of the game's flaws it did fix the most impotant one for me the game stopped being boring
I'm not happy about the developers at CV lost their jobs and their work on 5 being wasted, but I am relieved the current course of the series was finally put to a stop. I wish Capcom had gotten more involved sooner, not by shutting it down but by putting someone else in Keiji's place to oversee the series after he left. CV management was absolutely horrendous and shouldn't have been left to their own devices. I'd really like a remake to be made and be a fresh start for the series that does all the original game does but even better enhanced by modern technology. Not because the first game sucks but because Capcom, despite getting in their own way at times, has shown they're capable of breathing new life into old titles and they NEED to focus on some of their other franchises besides Street Fighter sequels and Resident Evil remakes.
How can they claim Frank is back without looking like him or sounding like him? God i pray for a reboot, good video bro

🤞
Dead Rising is one of my favorite game series ever. DR1, DR2 and Off the Record are some of the best games ever imo. I would even say DR3 was good, not great but good. DR4 was just a disaster. I hated it so much with how it ruined Frank and its stupid retcons. Never even played Frank Rising. The only thing I sort of like about 4 is its Christmas theme and even then that is not enough to bring me back. I hate how it killed the series.
To be fair many of 4's issues are just issues 3 had. Especially reconning previous plot elements to justify the current story being told.
Ugh...
Capcom vc devs had multiple passion projects being built behind the scenes. Im pretty sure they were told to churn another DR out. But I do know they worked on a more cinematic/ dark/ moody DR that was supposed to take place in Mexico on day of the dead. No idea what happened to it
Damn are you serious?!? That would’ve been so cool. Hopefully if we ever get a DR5 one day they go back to working on that.
An absolutely miserable way to end the series.
the real reason why the original voice for frank was not hired is because hes part of a voice actor union and Capcom hates paying voice actors
Whoa, is this true? Source?
@ it’s true capcom didn’t say that specifically but capcom doesn’t work with voice actors in unions
If they ever did make a Dead Rising 5 I wanted 4 to be retconned into being a crappy made for tv movie that’s supposed to be a “sequel” to Frank’s book. Frank wrote the script or at least approved of it as a quick cash grab, It’s all there
- Frank feels more like a generic action movie hero with bad quips and catchphrases
- Frank doesn’t look or even sound like Frank so it could be some actor
- Going back to Willamette for an incredibly contrived reason is lazy writing for both a video game and movie.
- Him turning into a zombie only for it to be cured is so stupid and pathetic it could only happen in a bad “Hollywood ending”
This is actually similar to a few ideas floated around some years back on the Dead Rising Reddit.
One person suggested that DR4 should be retconned into a terrible movie and that Hank East was an actor hired to play Frank but the project turned into a complete joke when they pushed the real Frank out of the project kinda like how Dragon Ball evolution turned out after pushing out the original creator. lol
Idk why but watching this reminded me of that odd port of the original Dead Rising on the Wii called Chop till you Drop
The one that ran on a modified version the RE4 Wii editions engine
Anyways I enjoyed the vid and hopefully you’ll have a good Christmas
100 percenting this game was a very painful experience.

This game insults the Dead Rising series the same way Saints Row 2022 is a insult to the previous Saints Row games
Resident Evil 4 could have also struck a good balance between survival horror and action horror, as well as Leon's character development, but it didn't.
Resident Evil 4 very much insulted Resident Evil franchise aswell.
Saints Row 3 is the insult for Saints Row games actually.

I didn't even know there was a Dead Rising 4 lol. News to me! Great video
god bless the cheesy puns in old rising games
Exactly, the cheesiness did not feel forced in the old games.
DR4 devs said, lets just make Frank a retard who tries to act like a influencer. It would have been more badass to just have him act the same, stuck in his older ways/methods contrasting the modern social media stuff.
That basically only happened in 2 though.
yup @@Hi_Just_Fred
Dude your editing and talking points were genuinely great! Looking forward to watching more vids from you.
As a massive fan of DR1 and 2/OTR I'm so glad I dodged the bullet with this one, I still remember the outrage when it was announced that TJ Rotolo wouldn't be returning to voice Frank despite his openness and clear enthusiasm to come back and voice the character but in the long run I'm glad he didn't, this game feels like a waking nightmare with it's cringe fanfic tier writing and TJ keeping away from it, for me, was for the best.
ngl i've never given a single f who im playing as lol, i find that so weird.
I always thought they were trying to make Frank look like Michael from GTA v
Please give dead rising one more chance don’t let the flame die out
Yess it's like Bethesda and fall out we know what it could be and what it was please
12:20
To be fair they did this in DR3 too
Yeah 4 is just a lot of 3's issues but even worse.
Exactly @@Hi_Just_Fred
They turned frank into a garbage bin Ash Williams
Today, the algorithm picked your video.
they turned dead rising into a mindless zombie killing game with no stakes. ruined existing characters and lore. etc.
this game was literally made in 1 year, Vancouver were forced to scrap everything and start over. the pitch to bring back frank and willamette was the reaction to capcom japan making them scrap their current work to make a more traditional dr game. (plenty of vids covering it on yt, it was being called climber i think).
they went out of their way to recast franks VA because "frank is older now", even though tj rotolo was actually right around the same age as frank apparently..
gameplay wise every single thing is streamlined or removed, from available weapons on the ground to survivors and "maniacs". bugs and glitches everywhere, horrible color, constant crashes, online was always a mess.
dr4 is a 3/10 if it was not a dead rising game it still would get a 4.5/10
for everyone who just "wants to kill zombies mindlessly" or "don't care about a story or lore" etc. that is exactly why every other dead rising game let you do just that, fail a mission in dr1 and 2? well click continue and you can mindlessly wander the malls. otr added sandbox mode with challenged for single player and coop. on top of dr2 and otr having full story mode being fully coop as well.
TLDR: dr4 is trash, it was rushed to be made in 1 year, script rewrites constantly. if you just want to kill zombies play literally any other dr game, or left4dead2 or dying light 1.
Players who hate the timer when the games actually tried to accommodate them: "This series is so hard, I wish I could just kill zombies without a timer."
1 also had infinity mode which was a harder experience but not that different than OTR's sandbox mode.
@@Hi_Just_Fred i swear people have really short attention spans and just don't read what's right in front of them lol like bro it says right there! continue playing 🤯
Did not even realize this game existed
It’s widely accepted that this is an imposter posing as Frank
Dead Rising 4 is more Saints Row than anything else.
Dead rising 4 is a hollywood adaption
The setting is what makes this so awkward if you play this pre-winter

Well said. I especially agree with that Dead Rising, despite of the silly elements, always had a serious story.
And your edits are really well done.
DR4 wasn't even supposed to be a Dead Rising game but the Capcom executives saw it and basically flipped off CV and then told them to make it into DR4.

nah the SR reboot was far worse. at least DR4 had fun zombie killing. theres not a single redeeming quality about the SR reboot

Zombie” doesn’t he actually yell no as well? I haven’t touched it since release
It is literally just "Planet of the apes but zombies"
capcom japan gave capcom Vancouver only a year to make the game and every game was made by completely different people which didn’t help things. rushing them for a christmas release really screwed this game. but the staff that worked on this game were idiots.
Case West with Chuck and Frank yeah.
Dead Rising 4 is a disappointment. It killed the series and Frank 😢
After enjoying the hell out of dead rising 3; I was so hyped for the release of dead rising 4 and it was so fucking awful I literally couldn’t even come near to finishing it
That fucking cutscene sting is so painful now that you mention it.
My issue of the game is the categorised weapons so now instead of being able to pick up anything and throw it at the zombie for a good laugh you're not even able to do that anymore instead you have to find specific throwing weapons you can't melee with your guns anymore and it just takes away the variety
this was a really good video, subscribed.

Unpopular opinion: DR4 to me is...fine. Worst game in the series, but on it's own, just a mere distraction
Not a horrible experience, but I definitely felt like I needed a better use of my time.
A game needs to be more than "passably entertaining at times" to even be "fine"
Like, nearly any bad game experience can be squeezed for "yeah I'm kinda having fun"
That's the baseline, not a sign of any real quality.
@@Hi_Just_Fred That's kind of what I was doing. Again, even though I some fun moments with it, I still could've found much better uses for my time. Terrence Rotolo did voice William Burkin in RE2 remake, maybe that had something to do with him not coming back for DR4.🤔
@chandllerburse737 He not only did voice work for Burkin, he also did motion capture for both his human & mutated forms.
It didn't, it was confirmed higher ups at CV specifically didn't consult him or offer for him to return.
They wanted to recast him from the beginning, probably because they thought he wouldn't be good for the "material" they gave Frank in this game

the blackest friday difficulty is so much fun for me lol I hated the game on normal so for me adding the difficulties did actually allow me to enjoy the game no time limit means you can find super creative and elaborate ways in the sandbox to dominate enemies even in blackest friday you just need to plan and have like strats it is so fun for me even if you start with a fresh save although you def need to abuse the kick to make it ouf the intro without deaths if you start out on level blackest friday.
