I have been playing DoS2 for years and have been just selling the shells for 1gp. I did not know I could combine them with long branches/sticks to make a staff. That will definitely help early game income
Just taking basic arrowheads and dipping them in barrels can get you easy special arrows. Poison is a good one to have, especially if anyone in your party uses fire. Weapons can be dipped in poison for extra poison damage and chance, but only do that with weapons you'll replace before going into the swamp, because it's full of enemies that absorb poison. Crafting armor is good really early, especially if you have a group of four to equip. Leather is the only one you'll make then, but at that level, the finesse requirement will only be 10, so it works for anyone. Needles and thread are really cheap, and you'll get leather from animals.
would love to see the entire journey as well as the more informative guides etc. would you consider streaming a playthrought and putting the stream out as long form content?
Maybe. I have an 80ish episode guide on here, but some of those videos got really messed up in my early days of basic basic editing. So maybe I'll ado a shorter series with longer chunks to update it.
@@Pyromus33 Actually, it does seem quite "rambling." On the other hand, as someone who hasn't done a bunch of crafting, I learned quite a bit, mostly *from* the off topic stuff. I can learn how to craft items from various wikis, but learning that you want to craft a level 3 shield -- that's the kind of stuff you don't learn from other sources.
regular shocking arrow head + water source = static cloud arrow ;3 honestly easiest way to get Elemental affinity for aero mage. also EA is personally not recommended on an aero mage fave class but it is the HARDEST affinity to maintain.
Imma need all the help i can get for this game but the more i understand it the more invested im becoming. Some of the more satisfying rpg game ive experienced

*Beats game* there is crafting? I realized how to duplicate anything before I learned you could craft

Do you remember where you found all your sharp rocks this early on?
Just between the beach and entrance to Fort Joy. There should be a bunch. Might be a few inside the fort too, it's been a while I'm not 100%
