We're almost at 5k subs! Woo.
Hope this guide helps at least one of you out there.
I'll see you in the next one. Probably something Halloween related.
Almost 5k Subs! Hypothetically, what would you ask if I were to do a Q&A video?
What got you started bothering to make these videos in the first place? Anything interesting, just bored one night, or what? Keep it up, Quackstack.
Keep em coming :) and for the Q&A: what type of videos will you post in the future? Mostly buildguides? Or other divinity stuff aswell?
My question if you were to do a Q&A video is why aren't you making real content? /s
What are your favourite build and party combo for fun...ness? (English ain't my moms toungue, jump off my ass)
if I were to ask something, it would be "Why is Red Prince better than your husbando?"
A reptile dysfunction caught me off guard. Jesus Christ.
I choked on my pizza
I'm not racist but this was a very informative video.
Im not racist but i agree
So you're a fucking racist bigot
Me 2 never thought white guys could be funny.
i am racist
"Self-harm isn't something a cleric abides by"
FLAGELLANTS WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A WORD
You have -45 affinity with the guy from Donations To Church. I'm instantly liking this video.
Lovin your stuff mate, just wanna let you know it’s still very much appreciated here in 2020 and this game keeps me coming back for more punishment. My human build needs some work!!! ✌️😎
yes
My favorite playstyle as an undead is nuking enemies with shackles of pain by casting cleanse wounds on myself, damage doesn't even matter as long as you have a few points in necromancy
Playing dos 1, been doing that with a curse spell. Its great to turn a healer into damage, can't wait to get to dos 2 it seems really good
Aaaand the ending is the best. Also texts like slliks. Man this mini funny things are great. And the content itself - really good. Now I can compare my cleric (i picked human for encourange buff!) and I can say that hell yeah this is similar to mine :) Good work
HOLY SHIT this is quickly becoming my favorite channel
This is both the most informative video I’ve watched on builds and the funniest. amazing job!!
These are fucking fantastic. Don't change a thing dude. Seriously, we need more youtubers like you and less like everyone else, moreso than the other way around.
Retribution is actually fairly good for support characters, since it means they can deal damage without wasting AP on attacks. You can theoretically make a fully no attack character that just heals & still win fights. Just max out health, armor buffs, heals, retribution, etc.
That shield throw skill is also amazing. If you get a shield with a ruin slot, beauty.
Shields already have insanely high physical armour and an additional 40% with a giant MW rune makes for insane damage every couple of turns, even on a non dps thanks to scaling with physical amour. Also, who doesn't just want more physical armour?
Them puns so bad yet so great.
great video.
I'm loving the humor mate, very informative too. Keep it up!
Favorite episode so far. Keeps getting better and better xD thx man
I cant believe ive just found this gold. Youre hilarious
Dude. Your videos are awesome! Informative and funny! Love 'em! More.
these dad jokes got me tilted off my chair
The way you go back to why elf is the second best makes it feel like its still the best and i laughed out loud.
"And eating limbs hasn't been handy to get a leg up in the industry since you couldn't get ahead without a body to support you, it's all about getting your foot in the door nowadays, or just stockpiling arms so the situation doesn't get hairy."
I wish I could sub twice just for that.
thank you about the information, it is my first Divinity game and the skill system is really a bit of overwhelming for a noob like me.
Ereptile disfunction....oh the puns mate, they're killing me. I love and hate them.
Thanks for the channel bro you slay me while your educating the masses. BTW I like to think your brand of humour is just training for you golden years where all you live for is the oppurtune 1 liner...... To quote George Cantstandzyah.... its all about the high note " GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY"
6:39 the whole dark souls plot in one sentence. 😂
You became my favourite content creator on whole youtube in a very short time. Keep up the good work!
These videos are great. You are hilarious and it really shows you put a lot of work into this. It would be awesome to get a two man lone wolf (irony) guide. Keep up the great work!
It seems like every second Dos2 video I watch makes me realise I'm playing an archetype wrong (and really need to read the tooltips better). Keep up the great videos.
You definitely invested a lot of points n wits
I think I love you. (platonically of course, otherwise that'd be weird)
Berry Goosey
Buddy?
I just want to say that it is a crime that you do not have more subscribers. Hilarious and informative. Keep it up!
you deserve that like...basically the smallest channel I follow, vbut you are going places.
solid firefly joke at the end
I watch all your videos just for the dancing dwarf.
I don't even have this game but I like watching your vids. Nice work.
Of course you had to quote Shepard Book!
I have a build with a Lizard I call it the Pheonix. Fire attacks with healing and buffing skills also with spread your wings for the whole Pheonix role play
your sense of humor is scientifically proven to make me laugh. :)
Weeeeee missss youuuu!
I hope you will keep making these videos man, if possible make reviews of the upcoming games too, your videos are very entertaining :D
Dude, legit great, funny content. Nice.
What's your favorite sandwich?
Perfect vid. Just sucks Beast doesn’t give you a Cleric option as his class on Fort Joy. Tho can always modify.
Oooh i get it "life of the party" because you heal them
I have a healer and I like it, tanky healer, can hit a little bit. A good addition to the party.
Humans are not useless. Don't underestimate the +5 % critical chance. The base critical damage multiplier is 150% or +50% damage; which means that humans do 2.5% (0.05*50) more damage than any other race except for elfs (flesh sacrifice) obviously excluding any face shifting shenanigans.
Other than that; while still pretty bad compared to other buffs like peace of mind, encourage is still a an okay filler for any support/summoner classes that doesn't directly do any damage, when your other buffs are on cool-down. The +1 barter could also come in handy over the long course of the game.
Wits is also not useless. 1 wit at base 10 stats is essentially 0.5% damage increase (1 wit = 1 init and 1% crit chance), but that is a bit of an oversimplification. If I'm not mistaken, damage per swing is calculated by (Base damage+(Base damage*additional effects))*(1+multiplier effects)*(critical chance*critical multiplier). Additional effects are basically damage attributes (str, int, fin) and weapon skills, multiplier effects are usually skills (warfare, pyro, etc.) So like how warfare is only superior to finesse/weapon skills when additional effects is above 0%, 1 wit becomes better than 1 point in fin, str, int when the combination of the additional effects and multiplier effect is equivalent to 1000% (5/0.5) or +900%.
Essentialy this means that if your damage on your character sheet is doing more than 10 times the weapon damage, stop putting points into int, fit, str, and put points in wits up until you get 100% critical chance.
Elf flesh sacrifice gives 1ap instantaneously and 10 % damage over 2 turns, which is essentially an additional half an attack which contributes to 137.5% damage or +37.5% damage. If you consider the 5 turn cool-down, it becomes +9.5% on average.
TLDR:
Humans auto attacks harder than any other race at late game except elfs. Elfs are OP. Wits is pretty good at late game.
Edit:
Oops, made a mistake, forgot the extra half attack on flesh sacrifice essentially works like a critical multiplier(even more, its like the above equation*[insert number]) excluding the cd. Typos and maths.
Honestly all the races are pretty good if you build them right.
Question. I thought you said on the death knight that necromancer and living armor did not work together but on this one you say it does. Just trying to figure out which that is.
+ZeroCross it does work, but you have to do damage to their actual health and not armor! Basically whenever necromancy actually procs.
Oh I see. Thank you.
Great way of making your video and real funny. I will pass on your video, and also for the jokes that are so well done ^^ GOOD JOB =)
I will use this build on the red prince!
These are the jokes, people. Bring a bucket.
Subbed because puns well done
Haha. Casually Explained RPG builds.
Gawd damn the puns are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad, and we just fuckin love it
Leaving this here but instead of jump cuts you can do those fade out/in overlayed shots they can usually smooth out cuts
subscreebed.
Love the comedic style of build video.
looking forward to more!
Just wondering what class do you think the human race are good at or are they just "the jack of all trade and master of none?"
Melee warriors can make use of it because they often have one AP left over for encourage and the crit is immediately useful.
Summoner/Ranger builds can get value from it for similar reasons.
Basically the human check list is:
1) Does my build benefit from the crit chance increase.
2) Is either movement or odd spell costs going to leave my build with one AP
Can we get a metamorph build?
I love your content! Sad you don't seem to be active anymore.
necro, Hydro and Pyro is the way to go. Play them as a ranged healer
My Red Prince Cleric is going well...
Me and my friends started playing this for the first time today I went cleric and now I've watched this video and learned I fucked my build up
Ranger, Ranger, Ranger...U are awesome!
Hope the ranger thing was a joke... I'm waiting for it since I first saw your channel.
Great video by the way !
soubrié cédric whats there to wait for? Dump everything into finesse, long shot (or whatever the translation) 3 points into huntsman, rest is into warfair and then scoundrel. Take all ranger skills. Done
Hey thx, thats a lot of advices in a single sentence !
But I still want my ranger build video !!!
* You don't take wits ??
* You don't use metamorph skills (wings and chameleon cloak) to improve mobility ?
* What do you use Scoundrel for ? To improve crits ? For skills ?
soubrié cédric you can take any additional skills depending how many points in skill slots you have (memory stat?) scoundrel is good for a few skills, extra teleport skill and the sleep skill (if you use elemental arrows it works) wits is alright, but you can always get a +10% crit weapon as well as crit chance on many other items. My end build had 4k damage with 82% crit. I was 1 shotting everything it was too boring
So lizard cleric it is!
I'm not racist but Halloween is my favorite day of the year
Gr8 content m8!
Oh man. Love the puns
Am I the only one who got the Firefly reference?
How does he have so many skill points and attribute points when creating a character? I only have 3.
This looks a lot like my Lone Wolf cleric, except with her I have the chance to pump up Poly for the stat points on top of everything else. Not sure I need mega Con though, and about 30 memory slots seems appropriate, so not even sure what to do with leftover stat points. Maybe grab ~20% crit chance from Wits? That still leaves 8 points for Con (16 with Lone Wolf). Thoughts?
i love the title because i made a lizard cleric lol
Id love a polymorphic elf build.. cuz i do
Is there any known build focused on shield destroying (both physical and magical) and CC? I guess it'd be a tank but with damage and CC (to keep enemies locked down while damage skills are on CD), idk. I like tanks and I like CC but I don't like this low damage cleric :(
Are your builds in writing anywhere? Thanks!
They can totally self harm, just look up Flagellants!
Good commentary!
this is awesome.
Is this a guide or a bad comic?
Firefly reference... nice.
Haha how your channel doesn't have more views is beyond me
Hey man if you're using hydro for healing and other school magic, why you don't put stats in INT? Wont this decision make your healings crap?
3 months late but the answer is no hydro is the only way to boost heals and it ups all heals even the ones from other class
Is a cleric a good 2nd for my lone wolf dreadknight build? I’ve been going alone and leaving a second in town to sell stuff
What's the best build for Ifan Ben-Mezd?
you're a treasure
still waiting for that vid on why we should play human(ely)..
Love the puns :D
One quick question, what software are you using for editing? Thanks
ArchMageRaven it's Adobe premiere pro
2Cor10:5 thanks. Appreciate it!
lost my shit when you tried to trade water ballon for dozen of magic books hahaha
i am subscribing just for the bad jokes lol
I'm new to the game. Can anyone explain how he has so many points in character creation? I only have 3.
I'm not racist, but... the sky is generally perceived as blue.
I have been playing for a week and I am so bad at this game. I played cleric safe at a range and all int. Fuck me. Your clips are funny
These shits are great.
I hope you gonna do the same shit for Baldurs gate 3
What is the name of the song at the end?
don't remember
I think is called Popcorn...
when making your character why do you get so many combat and attribute points?
You can remove the points that get automatically applied when you chose one of the premade classes
no he gets like 11 ability points in character select
You can redo the ability points later in the game so that's probably what he's doing then
i know that..... he is literally doing it in character creation is says so on the top of the screen not the respec mirror in act 2
+Facehugger89 Game master mode. You can choose starting level and you get skills and points for that level.
Wait.. so we go elf again yes?.. No? k
Ranger!
No Ifan builds? :(
Marry me dad
