There is a great lvl 13 belt in act 2 which is called "An Mey Falin". The belt provides great set of stats and can be bought from Eithne before the completing quest Eithne the Trader. Location: near Grog the Troll
I'd say the act1 pirate boots are also very good. Getting +2 luck that early on will give you a lot more/ better item finds for a while. The +1.5 movement is also rather a lot.
No mention of Dallis' Hammer? Absolutely an early game must have for any warfare/necro two-handed build. Easy to get it, just make your starting character the build that's gonna use it, put thievery as their civil skill, pick the deathfog room on the ship, and because you picked the lock instead of using the key, you have a few extra seconds to get in and grab all 3 deathfog. Would probably be undead so you don't have to rely on a lockpick / won't get fucked up if one barrel does explode, though you should reload if you can't get all 3 anyways.
@@Poronekton they never patched anything. Her being undead has never mattered. If you fight the magisters with Dallis and Alexander there, the game is coded to force Dallis to retreat with Alexander if he gets too low. So by using death fog, you knock Alexander to the point where it triggers Dallis’/ retreat. If ya placed it right the two phantom things should stay at the gate as they can’t get through the deathfog, though sometimes they’ll walk right into it. Saves you a fight on the ship between act 1 and 2 and gives you the XP sooner rather than later.
Get the pyro mace from the Skelton who appears after you bless a burning pig in act 1. Get the gift bag mod to add fire damage to weapons with a oil barrel, the same way you can use a ooze barrel to add poison damage. Add fire damage to the pyro mace and take it with you when you do the 3rd source ritual in act 2. Now pickpocket your god. All the physical damage on the weapon will turn to fire damage. Now send your 2nd character in with the pyro mace and do it again. Now you got 2 fully fire damage 1 handed weapons for a strength based pyromancer. Use traps and master of sparks and go crazy. Blitz em, bull rush em, whirlwind, stomp, charge, even oil blob and flay skin will benefit from strength. Oh yeah. Get torturer and almost every attack will set Necro fire. Bleed fire got the cool animation... It's time to BBQ! Also... In the 4th act there is the cool knife that the blind merchant sells, the one that does all poison damage. You can make your own in act 2 by pickpocketing your god. I suggest the fancy dagger from Lohar. Elfs can actually pickpocket 2 weapons. The main hand and the offhand. Ive done it with Ifan as well but every one else can only pickpocket one weapon. I guess Ifan got that elf vibe from his childhood. Fane(and maybe all undead) can't pickpocket any weapon from god. Only a helmet. Oh. By the way. Do you know about the "evade bow" in act 2? Can only get it by pickpocketing the red prince's assassins by the graveyard. You have to pickpocket them during the fight. It's a pain. The bow sets a permanent evade status. Bring it to the source ritual and pickpocket it from your god. Do it again and now you got 3 of em. Or get one in pure poison and one in pure fire. Hahaha. Make sure you throw a couple source orbs in your helmet and weapons because you'll make duplicates of those too. And you'll need 5 theivery to steal it all including the lint in your gods pocket. God has some expansive lint, you don't want to miss out on the resale value. GOOD LUCK!
@@midaBR yo. In act 2 you do to the hall of echoes 3 times and talk to the good of your race. 1st you get spirit vision, then you get source vampirism, and then he tells you to go to the nameless isle for act 3. After that you can pick pocket him. If you are a elf or ifan he will have 3 things, your helmet and your main weapon and your off hand weapon. For other races he will only have your helmet and your main hand weapon. And undead only get the helmet. Be sure to have high theivery. Now the cool part. If you put poison damage on the weapon(or fire damage if you get the free gift bag update from the developers), then the weapon will become a pure poison weapon(or a pure fire weapon). Good luck
The Amulet from Mordus is also pretty cool, he pockets it from you while turning in the quest. You can just drop a smoke bomb, bless it and then pocket it back, EASY.
Yeah.. I bought a iPad 2022 today for the iOS version of Dos 2… I’m gonna do lone wolf 2 man party tactician mode with Sebile and Lohse… gonna try it on the iPad version… Think it’s gonna be a challenge… iPad will be delivered today so I’m excited to see how it works on a iOS device 😅
One thing you missed from act 2 is the livewood shield? I think is the proper name for it. You can get it as soon as you save mister Sieva and unlock spirit vision. Go to the lone wolf camp (use persuasion to get in), go to the lumbermill, talk to the spirit tree. Go use a purging wand on the ghost who took the tree down and boom, a high level shield as early as level 10. Pair that with Emrach and you are good to go. Another shout out to the level 9 set of ranged armor from the 4 relics. They scale up to level 14 I believe?
It was a contender, but I wanted stuff that was a bit more unique, and Emrach beats it out a bit. If the shield had a large amount of +CON a so the character didn't need to put more points in it to use the shield, it would have probably made it.
@@Pyromus33 Makes sense. Last item I forgot to mention is deadeye's signature crossbow. You can buy it from him at the lone wolf camp. Level 14 crossbow which when combined with the vulture set and a large poison rune in your amulet slot gives you a 97% chance of hitting with it at level 10. If you use peace of mind you will be above 100% chance to hit with it, despite being 3-4 levels down.
@@minerrobjojo6775 That's something I hadn't thought of. I usually ignore higher level weapons with the acc penalty, but that might be worth noting for the future
I know i am very late to the party, but Louar’s Hamemrs is a scaling weapon, if you were to finish the quest early, by level 11 it would be level 11. However if you keep the quest open and wait until level 16, or just before you go to the namless isle, you could have a way more powerful weapon for act 3
how did the vulture armor not make it to act 2 best armor? the fact it has good defenses that work for the entirety of act two and grants 2 huntsman (which enables tactical retreat) is invaluable. group blind being obtained for free is also good in terms of cc, its probably one of the best unique finenese armors in act 2 by a large margain
@@Pyromus33 that makes sense, still I think sets like the vulture shouldve been included as a single entry since they can all be obtained at the same time and place. i say this because the point of the video is to explain a quick way find something and use it because its useful for new players. for time reasons of the vid it makes sense to avoid sets with different methods to obtain for each piece but with vulture everything is obtained at nearly the same time, because of that reason and its usefulness the Vulture set shouldve been included
For sparking swings build do you dump points into pyro and int, then use swords as spark triggers that don’t do much damage? Or do you use a fire staff for more damage on your hits?
Depends on the rest of the party composition. Generally I go more strength and scoundrel and I prioritize wits and crit% on gear so both damage sources go up. With 2 one handed weapons that each have cleave, you get so many sparks that the damage numbers are fine without a ton of bonuses.
Probably stealing stuff. I forget how this particular run was setup, but there's like a 90% chance I stole a bunch. Once you get thievery into the range of 9-10 you can steal so much in act 2 that you're basically set for the whole game. I usually do a round of stealing upon hitting act 2, one when the party hits level 13 (vendors get much more money in that level's tier) and one or two rounds in before leaving the act.
