Here’s a tip: The undead ability “Play Dead” can be used to block doorways and other bottlenecks. Great for splitting up melee enemies & cutting them off from the battle.
One more tip: Rupture tendons and chicken claw do great together, and it’s really fun to watch your enemies turn into chickens and then run to their deaths
My bf's party is summoner Fane and rogue Sebille (I'm Necroknight Red Prince and Hydro Beast) and we use that combo so much, we just call it "Rupture Chicken". No joke, we see a big baddie about to eat our ass for breakfast, I'm like, "Ok, babe, get Sebille on that baddie's ass and Rupture Chicken him". Such a brilliant combo, especially if the baddie is too powerful or too annoying to deal with at that moment.
Tip: make sure everyone can heal, and attack at both melee and range, and deal physical damage and magic damage. Next tip: dont make a jack of all trades. Mmmmmk
It was worded badly but that's kinda what you do. You should specialise in attributes like Dexterity, Strength or Intelligence and classes like hydrosophist or warfare, but inside those classes there are skill for all kinds of situations. Your warrior can throw a shield to attack at range and your mage can have a touch spell while both having a kind of healing. Everything is in the tooltips in the game so reading them carefully is the key to an effective build :)
No the video is spot on. Don't be a jack of all trades in the skills (Huntsman, Scoundrel, etc.) but in terms of attack types (melee, ranged, etc.) WITHIN their skills you should have one of each to be well-rounded.
Correct always focus on either magical or physical types (in either solo or group, unless you're playing one of the beginner difficulties) and enjoy the game... play as an all-rounder and be prepared to hit reload often, on a number of difficulty combinations... tactical or solo tactical all-rounders will fail more often than needed. A dedicated healer is possible but you'll need to be creative: summoner/buffer/debuffer/healer facetank away :P ... it can be a lot fun for an RP play through, Tactical or not.
@Michael Mathers Use the "pawn" perk for free movement + the one that lets you avoid attacks of opportunity. (Duck duck goose?) Also, self-teleports. Rogues have one that doesn´t break stealth, and tactical retreat from Huntsman is amazing as it gives you haste. Or Phoenix dive if you have a few points in warfare (not a bad idea, as it increases all your physical damage).

You missed the most important tip: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND THE OVERALL ENVIRONMENT. That should've been the first thing said, because this is a game where that actually matters. Water puddles acan be electrified. Oil barrels are explosive. Pools of blood can be a tool for damage or healing; Pools of ANYTHING can be gathered into empty flasks, used in summoning to give your minions specific qualities, or become pools of blood with a certain ability I believe. Mines exist. Objects can be used as weapons with the right abilities, such as teleport. Much more can be considered. The environment is your friend and if you're not taking advantage of it you're severely handicapping yourself. Always keep your surroundings in mind, inside and outside of battle.
Combine elements, learn what is flammable. If you have a heavy poison hitter, slap fire on someone and watch as your poison now explodes the undead rather than heals htem.

"why did you go there" "no, don't throw a fireball I'm standing on oil" "why did you stole from me" "what do you mean you are rping your character?" "shut up, I'm trying to listen to this NPC conversation" "wait, I have my character questline over here"
Ooooooo. That sucks. I might play this with friends... I'll get in the mind set not to care or treat my playing like I do solo. Cause I love dialogue and story so that would piss me off. Thanks for heads up.
i was playing with my brother and our main issue is that we've often been almost a bit too disciplined about it except for "i hate this guy, can we kill him?" *quicksaves*
I just started playing through it first time with friends and I'm already running into "dude why TF did you just do that when we all just agreed to a battle plan..." or "bro we literally die if we do that like think this shit through as a party not just about how to benefit yourself"
1. keep the ALT button pressed every time you loot 2. if you know a battle is coming, pre-buff your party with the bedroll, and if you got it, Encourage, peace of mind. 3. if you are having problems getting out of Act 1, play Ifan and make sure he has cameleon and theivery. He can sneak out of Fort Joy immediately (level 1!) via the boat in the dungeons, meet up with Zaleskar and get the most OP weapon immediately. Only he can do this. The Shadow's Eye performs at level 6, will carry you to Driftwood.
Tip I always like is this: If you are in a dialogue with a character you know you are going to fight, then have your party members get set up and then beat the shit out of the enemy before they initialize the fight.
Hey dude, Very nice and informative video :) One big tipp you forgot: If you want to trade with a vendor increase your reputation with him first. Give the vendor with your bartender main Charakter some gold or useless items to watch the reputation rise. If you have 100 rep with a vendor (takes about 500g in the second act) the discount you'll get for skill books/weapons etc. Will be often about 300g/item (or higher!). This means, if you want to buy 5 1k gold items you give the vendor 500g in the first place and afterwards buy all 5 items for 700g/each ==> you spare 1500g by investing 500g! Greetings from Austria
You mention to specialize into the weapon specific to what you use. Remember though, for physical damage dealers, Warfare is your best friend since it increases all physical damage and because of the math, in a way that is more meaningful than the weapon trees most time.
1. Yes, as a good player you should have a dedicated support, meaning you shouldn’t just heal with that character but damage buff, and increase/restore your parties armor. If you have 2 damage dealers (one ranged and one melee) and a dedicated tank (also tries to crowd control as much as possible), a support that makes sure every ally is alive and well is definitely okay. 2. Saying that you shouldn’t specialize in pyro and should just get enough for the skills you need isn’t recommended, since usually those types of skills also increase your pyro damage. 3.Every ally should have a “self teleport”, while the teleport spell is useful, a tank that has Phoenix Dive, has all the mobility he needs, as on his turn he should be able to knock down his target, as the tank should go near last so his CC i actually works, and doesn’t just tickle the enemies physical armor.
Have a summoner! The Incarnate (especially at summoning lv 10 and it becomes an Incarnate Champion), is amazing! An extra partymember during combat! That you can decide which element it will use. It's my favourite thing in Divinity!
And the elemental totem. I'm playing it for the first time and I went with that co.bonits pretty dope. Gonna try and get the exploding corpse next level
yea i just started this game after bg3 and started with a summoner. He's a beast lol. just pumpin out totems and incarnates. ill blast the ground with my attack to make a elemental surface and then get summonin
"If your rogue is low on health, teleport him to safety" *forgets that the caster is a bloodmage that focuses on physical spell damage and just kills the said low hp rogue with the fall damage* "Well i tried"
Man this so much. I was fighting all these oozes and the person I was suppose to save was dangerously low on health so I healed him a bit and thought I could teleport him to safety. Well he ended up dying from the teleport and mind you I was in this fight for 20+minutes so that kind of sucked
@@Brelicity i actually failed saving him everytime i tried until i played on honour mode. And somehow the fight was a cakewalk (i was sorta overleveled though)
1) You can actually try to sneak into battle and get a free hit. Utilize a spell or skill with more AP requirement so that it uses no AP whatsoever for that turn. You will still get your max AP when it does become your turn. 2) If you want a boost at the start to your equipment and money, get the lucky charm characteristic. The amount of loot you'll find will definitely help, especially when you can sell the whole lot of them for good gold. Having a character with a good barter skill will help immensely too. 3) Focusing your entire party on one particular type of damage is a good idea. Either a full party of physical damage dealers or magic damage dealers. This makes it more efficient to kill enemies as you will be able to quickly burn through their respective armors and start getting to HP.
@@svvvvaaa not everyone likes final fantasy, there's a lot of reason not to and mac players don't matter for devs, we're only 10% and to OP i have to say, it's considered best turn-based RPG wise, but outside people bearly know it and lots of people don't like the fighting system and i understand that, although i like it
Action economy vs CC, armor vs status: As soon as you can get through at least one kind of an enemies' armor, you can start pasting nasty status effects all over their face, even making them lose their whole turn as often as not. But enemies can (and will) do this to you too, which is why its *super* important to have a wide range of status-cancelling moves spread among your party. Most important thing I learned playing this game.
If you're trying to steal or pickpocket, a good tip is to split up your party and talk to the people around your target.. Switch to a new character in the middle of the conversation. This will keep them occupied while your thief does his thing
Have someone with teleport free in case they get questioned before they can get away. Teleport your party member as far away as possible and the npc will forget about it and go back to what they were doing.
good tips but they didn't really emphasize how much you need to save. You save before a fight, after a fight, before a dialogue, after a dialogue, when entering an area, when leaving a area, taking a sip of water? Hit f5 (the quick save on PC). Answering an IM? Hit f5. Taking a second to scratch your head? Hit f5. Then hit f5 at random times in between all the times you're hitting f5.
Best tip for combat - 4 x teleport, group up enemies into a nice crowd, destry armor with well placed aoe, if someone is left standing, cc the lot, rinse repeat. It does trivialize the game however.
invest in thievery and ROB EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING and then just teleport to a waypoint, oh and remember to use party members to change NPCs line of sight and enter in conversation so you can take your sweet time looking at what juicy items to steal :P
Tip: teleport, corpse explosion, and neither swap. There, now you have the most powerful build but you still have to know what you’re doing. Also teleport scrolls can crafted and can be used more than once in battle. With this you can move a lot of corpses and end a huge battle in one turn with mass corpse explosion. Note necromancy goes off of warfare so does corpse explosion because they do physical damage.
This right here is the cheat code. Once i had mass ce, the kraken, doctor and the final battle were effectively done as soon it was fanes turn (my necro)
Bedroll is your best healing ability out of combat. When you get the boat, find the mirror, you can respect all you want expect tags (Act 2). Read tool tips and look at the environment. 5% is a lot no matter what we are talking about (mostly for when playing on Tactician and failing three 95 % chance to hit in a row and that adding a point in a class usually gives 5 % damage). No need to spend more than 5 points in class to get ultimate spells as an example huntsman gets no damage benefit if you are on even ground you only get bonus damage benefit if you are on high ground (unless you are a mage you should max weapon type damage that you are using because they offer better benefit most of the time) most class support spells needs only 1-2 points to access them no need to spend more than that(Items helps big time in that case). Talking to people and animals (if you have pet pal) is useful and gives lots of infos and hints. Don't be discourage when you are using the crafting table try stuff you can have unexpected result. like with boots and nails that prevent you from slipping which makes your Hydrosophist a more enjoyable character when he freeze every surfaces.
my biggest damage dealer mid - late game is (by far) my mage thanks to the savage spells talents , where my rogue deal 1k-1k5 with corrupted blade , my mages deal 3k+ with the fire ray or close circuit , seriously don't underestimate elementalist with a lot of crit rate :p
Biggest tip I thought that was left out........once you get access to the ship you can respec your abilities and attributes at will. Do this. Respec characters to be master thieves then go on a mass pickpocket spree with all your characters. Then when your finished reaping the rewards spec back into whatever you see fit.
Armor is the most important thing in this game. When you have armor you can't be cc'd, while you can cc opponents when they run out of armor. High offense builds that have multiple cc abilities are very strong.
When levelling just prioritize warfare if you are doing physics damage. Its effects are multiplied at last so say +100% from finesse and +50% from warfare gives you 300% damage instead of 250%
I like how Tip 5 and 6 contradict each other, make sure your characters are diverse and can do both magic and physical damage but don’t forget to specialize! xD
At first glance they seem contradictory but you can still give yourself basic magic spells or basic melee while still specializing into something. But in truth it's probably more meant for none combat things like barter and persuasion. He could have explained it better though
A very important tip I could give is: Be fully prepared (equipement/spells/etc) for act 4 (going to Arx) In classic there is a ridiculous difficulty spike at the begining of this chapter, so unless you are fine with lowering the difficulty level you better be ready.
Ok, ok... - teleportation - teleport ranged enemy further away? HELL NO. The only thing that it does ultimately, is giving said enemy more shots at you. Teleport ranged enemy CLOSE to you, or, if you can't do this for some reason, teleport to the low ground, close to as many environmental hazards as possible. Also - don't forget, you can and you should use teleport to bunch enemies - making the susceptible to area of effect attacks. - don't have a dedicated healer - that is a decent enought advice but the explanation is not. The reason is simple - cooldowns. You also should not spam hydro everywhere. Most specialisations have some sort of healing - undead can heal using very abundant poisons, necro provides universal health steal, both hydro and huntsman have heals. You do not NEED all characters with heals - 2 is enough. If you need more, you are doing something wrong. Remember, you CAN'T reliably outheal the damage. Healing in battle is mostly a delaying action and a way to clear status effects. - Tip 5 and 6 appear contradictory - be ready for everything and specialise. They are NOT but this begs better explanation. Specialise - as in - don't spread yourself too thin - stick to specific type of damage. Magical or physical on one character and from one source. You do not want to pump both strength and finesse, or strength and intelligence. At the same time you do NOT want to overspecialise. Pretty much every character benefits from couple of points in metamorph and necro for example. Pretty much every class can benefit from skills such as 'spread your wings', 'haste', 'peace of mind' or 'adrenaline'. Every single heavy duty melee fighter will benefit from Geomancer and Necromancer - for skills that boost armour and life-steal from necro. Obviously pyro and geo complement one another, and so do hydro and aero. Learn synergies between playstyles and skills. - Also - dealing with everything - not precise enough. It implies that mixed party is the best option and it is not essentially true. It works, but full physical or magical parties are potentially more efficient as they have to deal only with one type of armour. Besides, there are multiple ways of dealing with foes, so being prepared could mean just about anything. This list also lacks the most important aspect - WATCH YOUR SURROUNDINGS. Unlike most RPGs, Divinity uses the scenery A LOT. not as chokepoint. Surfaces, placement of barrels, high grounds, smoke and clouds, it all matters in this game, often times more than direct skills of your characters. In fact, you can mitigate a lot of weaknesses by utilising the environment. Let's take water surface for example: you can electrify or freeze it. Simple, right? But you can do much more. Contaminate it for poison damage, then set it on fire to blow it up, then pour rain on it to create steam and electrify THAT. Instead of one or two damage types, you got 4 and potential, multiple status effects.
No this video is just cringe tbh. Mostly very basic/new comer tips. Enemies do not respond nor can you "grind" in this game. Look up and area by levels map on wiki. It will show you a good base of where you should be interacting at each level to level up. If you have more questions i will try to respond asap
Don't have a dedicated healer unless you have an all skeleton squad and one poison based geomancer. This is because you can crit with poison wands, and hit your teammates.
On the specialize tip don’t go as hard as him it’s better to have at least a tiny bit of strength or intelligence or finesse to equip armor of the corresponding types. For a higher overall defense because intelligence armor has higher magic shields and strength armor has higher physical shields also finesse armor has less shields then it’s other counterparts but has a decent amount of both.
I remember selling stingtail out for griff. However, when griff sends out an assassin to kill him, i supported him while he is in combat (since im not on actual combat with the assassin) recovery, mana shield, etc.
Here's a couple I haven't seen mentioned. Take Chicken claw for all of your physical damage dealers. No enemy has resistance to it. All of your characters need one level of scoundrel to get Adrenaline and Pawn. Action points are the most important resource in the game. Pawn preserves AP at the start of the fight versus Executioner which gives you AP usually after the outcome of the fight is decided. Adrenaline let's you get control of a fight a turn earlier which is huge.
here is a pro tip > the area where u talk to Migo in fort joy, behind him closer to the building there is a secret underground hole u can dig up once u get close and discover it, when u enter u will go to the underground prison, after going up and fighting 1 fire slug there is an area that u can find an Ornate chest, fill that chest with as much items u can and use telekinesis to move it around and u can insta kill enemies the heavier the chest is > now u dont have to play this way if u dont want to but its good as backup if u are having trouble somewhere but id say that u should just create THE CHEST OF DOOM!!! mine is in act3 rn and its about 55k weight
Well, you don't even need a healer if your squad is made of bones. We just make everything acid. I count as the healer guy in our team, but only because i can summon rain, hit the ground then everything becomes acid.
the rogue isnt the most high damage dealer of the team, it's the magic caster. High intel, evasive aura and high crits could easily stun, freeze and disable any hero. but a damage tanker is needed
Teleport is an incredible skill to have, and it would be wise to not burn it too early. Most enemies have some kind of movement ability, and if you teleport them too early, they will likely just waste your teleport. How I use teleports is by pinning enemies on to each other and then burning both at the same time. Teleport enemies on top of each other and then hitting the whole group with aoe spells or abilities to get to their juicy hp. Also: your group should focus on damage type. Having split physical/magical damage can make an easy fight far more difficult than it needs to be. CC wins fights, pure dps does not. You cannot CC an enemy with armor. You CAN split the damage types, but it hurts the dps overall. Alice Aliceson is an excellent example of why splitting damage can make things worse for your group
Archer is way more powerful then the Rogue class. Rogue is to squishy and highly dependent on positioning that is constantly changing. Archer can get up high and usually just sit there and not wasting AP to positioning constantly.
Teleportation deals a decent amount of physical damage and you can teleport people on top of each other to double said damage and also group the enemy for further AoE damage. If you want to deal physical damage, upgrade the warfare skill, since it enhances all physical damage, including from spells like teleport or corpse explosion. Is very important to be able to move around the battle, so a couple points in warfare scoundrel or huntsman is important for those teleport skills. In a pinch nether swap from aero can do the trick but it is kinda limited. Also do not underestimate the polymorph skill tree, there are valuable skills for almost every character, apotheosis and skin graft are amazing but also chicken claw, invisibility, and tentacle lash are very useful. Also if you do not want to spend points in warfare, huntsman or scoundrel for mobility skills ( in scoundrel, adrenaline is great, so just put a second point in scoundrel for also being able to teleport around) polymorph also have the fly ability, but it is slightly inefficient in AP, but useful nonetheless
Im usually a RPG only player who loves games like Witcher, ES games, and even an oldie like Wizardry. Im used to saving a ton, I dont know why I forgot here. I lost around 3 hours of stuff because of my dumbness. Do yourself a favor, follow saving a lot.
Having a split magic and physical party is actually a terrible tip. Focusing on asingle type of damage (maybe not exclusively but heavily) makes it A LOT easier, as it will deplete their physical or magical armor faster which will in turn open them to take actual damage and get a bunch of crowd control and damage over time stats. Especially on higher difficulties, focus on either physical or elemental damge, don't spread yourself too thin, it's not worth it. Yes some enemies have less physical than magical armor or vice versa, but it's still more effective to focus on a single type of damage.
I love how people's criteria for a difficult game today is having a tangible failure state. That used to be the status quo for video games until it was discovered that accessibility came at the cost of coddling their user base.
Ok hold on. You have completely missed the point of my statement. I was merely remarking on the challenge of the game play. My statement had nothing to do with their lack of proper cohesive storytelling, something we lost in the medium wholesale decades ago. If I were going to let that upset me, i would stopped gaming back in the 90s. So why don't you watch what you are fucking accusing me of until you are sure what statement I am making in the first place you infantile minded moron.
@-System-_ Error#&! Literally everything you complained about was explained in full if you read everything in the game. Based off your confusion, just gonna say that maybe next time you should actually read the books and what people say instead of ignoring everything. There isn't a single moment in the main plot of the game that is left unexplained, half the things you're confused about are explained to you by forced dialogue cutscenes you can't skip literally 2 seconds before the things happened that you don't understand.
My Fane does like no dmg, he has very low attack. also, his moves are just aroethurge and his basic rouge moves, should i invest in getting Necromancer? I have a lot of scrolls, having killed someone rich with necro scrolls. The only prob is that i have no summoning points, while having a necromancer point giving piece of armor. What is a good build for Fane?
Specializing was for the first one. Some of the tips weren't good at all, like the way you use tp was hideous (it's always a priority to move enemies, as you can move it on another enemy and if that enemy, or the floor, is burning or else you get +profit). In this one, you can even get more powerful than specializing by putting some int points in your witch, or teaching your ranger how to summon
The best way to counter not being able to heal is actually everyone go a boney boy, take the acidic floor spell and enjoy big puddles of aoe healing with the lads.
This game is quite hard on you if you don't apply your attributes and talents well, if you spread your points and waste on things you don't need you will die. Apply your points to your characters build and the game will be alot smoother
I agree teleport is a huge advantage, but tip two is not a good tip exactly. There are other moves to use that will move player characters safely around such as cloak n dagger, nether swap, pheonix dive, and i think there is one more but cant recall it atm. Teleport should be used only on characters in the early first 5 levels in the very beginning. Hopefully by level 5 one or all characters should know at least one of the abilities I've mentioned. Cloak and dagger by far is a must have for half my group. Teleport goes on the other half. Last thing you wanna do is damage teammates in a fight especially on tactician. Classic mode isnt challenging if you play with 2 summoners on your team.
the last move you were thinking of was tactical retreat, which i believe is superior to cloak and dagger because it gives you haste. I have to disagree about what you said about teleport, as i think it is one of the most valuable skills in the game. Teleport is meant to be used to control the field, as it allows you to move enemies out of vantage points or pick enemies off before the others get in range.
This game is too hard I can't win any fight in fort joy. Idk what I'm doing wrong and just seems I'm always out numbered and have less advantage than the enemy.
5 Rules of Divinity: Original Sin 2 1. Fuck you. 2. Git gud. 3. Steal (and then very quickly fence) everything that isn't nailed down. If it is nailed down, just be a bit more careful. 4.

"Pools of ANYTHING can be gathered into empty flasks" WHAT?!?! Awesome!
@@michaelmcmahon5623 I may be wrong on that one, now that I see this again. My knowledge at the time was beginner lol but that aside, pools of anything have various affects that should be considered.
Playing with friends be like .. "hey, where are you?" "why did you go there" "no, don't throw a fireball I'm standing on oil" "why did you stole from me" "what do you mean you are rping your character?" "shut up, I'm trying to listen to this NPC conversation" "wait, I have my character questline over here"
I wanted to do coop but that sound like a nightmare XD
Ooooooo. That sucks. I might play this with friends... I'll get in the mind set not to care or treat my playing like I do solo. Cause I love dialogue and story so that would piss me off. Thanks for heads up.
i was playing with my brother and our main issue is that we've often been almost a bit too disciplined about it
except for "i hate this guy, can we kill him?" *quicksaves*
teleporting each other into lava then repeatedly using the bedroll to res them straight back into an agonising death never loses its appeal.
Tip I always like is this: If you are in a dialogue with a character you know you are going to fight, then have your party members get set up and then beat the shit out of the enemy before they initialize the fight.
lol, you teleported over to that crate......instead of just teleporting the crate to you.
There is a good chance that crate can break if teleported. You do know that can happen right?
@@leesmith6785 better prevention than to cure no?
Even the crate breaks from tp, you still get items inside and it also triggers Lucky Charms too. And Lucky Charms is shared among all party members.

Hey dude,
Very nice and informative video :)
One big tipp you forgot:
If you want to trade with a vendor increase your reputation with him first.
Excellent tip, thank you, good sir =) - Dan

Bartender?
@@AphoticGoblin Hey, who wouldn't give a discount to your favourite bartender?
I don't bargain, not much of a talker.. I just loot them to their last penny
You mention to specialize into the weapon specific to what you use. Remember though, for physical damage dealers, Warfare is your best friend since it increases all physical damage and because of the math, in a way that is more meaningful than the weapon trees most time.
Also combined with perk adding 3% of life per warfare point :)
Yeah and perhaps another party member with bone widow. If that works..
And the elemental totem. I'm playing it for the first time and I went with that co.bonits pretty dope. Gonna try and get the exploding corpse next level

editing tips: control your volumes, turned up to hear your voice, but then the music just exploded into my ears
"If your rogue is low on health, teleport him to safety"
*forgets that the caster is a bloodmage that focuses on physical spell damage and just kills the said low hp rogue with the fall damage*
"Well i tried"
“Well received”
Mate, its like considered to be one of the best games of all time
Lol if final fantasies just functioned on a macbook they’re more lit. But this does for now
@@svvvvaaa not everyone likes final fantasy, there's a lot of reason not to
and mac players don't matter for devs, we're only 10%
and to OP i have to say, it's considered best turn-based RPG wise, but outside people bearly know it
and lots of people don't like the fighting system and i understand that, although i like it
Action economy vs CC, armor vs status: As soon as you can get through at least one kind of an enemies' armor, you can start pasting nasty status effects all over their face, even making them lose their whole turn as often as not. But enemies can (and will) do this to you too, which is why its *super* important to have a wide range of status-cancelling moves spread among your party. Most important thing I learned playing this game.
Also, don´t overdo it with Glass cannon. It really sucks to have half your party charmed/terrified/knocked down.... at the beginning of every combat.
"Quick save alot" YEA THAT'S VERY IMPORTANT, i lost 7 hours of play once. I wanted to die.
I feel you bro, I feel you...
Sounds like hell
Well you should go try skyrim on legendary difficulty without quick saving... it's uh fun.
Tip 8: Play on story mode or something, that makes you feel like an absolute pro.
my biggest damage dealer mid - late game is (by far) my mage thanks to the savage spells talents , where my rogue deal 1k-1k5 with corrupted blade , my mages deal 3k+ with the fire ray or close circuit , seriously don't underestimate elementalist with a lot of crit rate :p
A very important tip I could give is: Be fully prepared (equipement/spells/etc) for act 4 (going to Arx)
In classic there is a ridiculous difficulty spike at the begining of this chapter, so unless you are fine with lowering the difficulty level you better be ready.
2:10 - Why the hell would you teleport Mordus AWAY from you? if you kill him first, the battle ends...
You lose all the xp from the other enemies though
This game is huge and I have no idea what i'm doing.
At 8:05, he said "If you have to go away and grind a bit..."
Uhh, how do you do that? Do any of them enemies respawn? Where can you grind?
No this video is just cringe tbh. Mostly very basic/new comer tips. Enemies do not respond nor can you "grind" in this game. Look up and area by levels map on wiki. It will show you a good base of where you should be interacting at each level to level up. If you have more questions i will try to respond asap
Just got this game. Seems difficult, but i'm up for the challenge.
I just started replaying the game again for the 5th time, now I play as a team formed of a summoner, necromancer, wizard and enchanter
Don't have a dedicated healer unless you have an all skeleton squad and one poison based geomancer. This is because you can crit with poison wands, and hit your teammates.
All the melee classes have some sort of flight/teleport ability to allow for them not having range
Teleport enemies who can't use ladders.
Proceeds to teleport a flight able weaponised monk.

The better teleport tip is stack enemies together for your party to AoE and CC them
The most important tip: don't kill skillbook sellers especially in fort joy.
Yeah, and the armor dealer on game.. To guy Like gather Same level equipment became Full body set >~
I remember selling stingtail out for griff. However, when griff sends out an assassin to kill him, i supported him while he is in combat (since im not on actual combat with the assassin) recovery, mana shield, etc.
Vision really made this game a whole lot easier for me thanks!
I am surprised that you did not mention summoning which is very important, and gives you valuable extra turns
Polymorph is a amazing ability tree it provides both magic and physical damage
How to pick up keys on desk ? Ps4
I actually prefer Executioner for completely, unless my character is a Rogue.
here is a pro tip > the area where u talk to Migo in fort joy, behind him closer to the building there is a secret underground hole u can dig up once u get close and discover it, when u enter u will go to the underground prison, after going up and fighting 1 fire slug there is an area that u can find an Ornate chest, fill that chest with as much items u can and use telekinesis to move it around and u can insta kill enemies the heavier the chest is > now u dont have to play this way if u dont want to but its good as backup if u are having trouble somewhere but id say that u should just create THE CHEST OF DOOM!!! mine is in act3 rn and its about 55k weight
Almost - necro with that blood comet thingy and corpse explosions takes the cake

Archer can get up high and usually just sit there and not wasting AP to positioning constantly.
where can I found intro track, I really like it
What music?
if you melee attack people with a staff, or use whirlwind, does the damage you deal scale off of intelligence?
This game plays as a turned base when in fight not a diablo or baulders gate dark alliance just a heads up
1:43 u can teleport the chest too.
you can leave yourself "up shit creek without a paddle"....you sir a genuine lad
Alexander F. Wow that’s awful happened to when playing wither 3 lost about an hour of progression but still sucked.
-System-_ Error#&! It’s not the dev’s fault that you’re a mental midget
This right here only illustrates the point I was trying to make in the first place. YOU DONT EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHAT A FAILURE STATE IS!
@-System-_ Error#&! SO basically you didn't listen to any dialogue or read anything? Because the lore of the game is everywhere.

What is a good build for Fane?
Look up some builds
Keep an ooze barrel on you and combine it with all weapons aside from wands to give it some poison damage !
Specializing was for the first one. Some of the tips weren't good at all, like the way you use tp was hideous (it's always a priority to move enemies, as you can move it on another enemy and if that enemy, or the floor, is burning or else you get +profit). In this one, you can even get more powerful than specializing by putting some int points in your witch, or teaching your ranger how to summon

how to play like a pro?
1: quick saves
lol
Tip: teleport works on items too, not just players
Teleporting enemys into area damage was left out... there is something oddly satisfying when you tp an irritating foe in to a puddle of lava..

5 Rules of Divinity: Original Sin 2
1. Fuck you.
2. Git gud.
3. Steal (and then very quickly fence) everything that isn't nailed down. If it is nailed down, just be a bit more careful.
4. Don't put more than 1-3 points in any skill tree* unless you need those skills or you are heavily specializing in that tree.
5. Almost always heavily specialize in Warfare, regardless of your build. We're talking 9-10 points.

Classic mode can be very challenging for beginners, especially if you failed the Chosen-One Quest, killed Zaleskar, because you didn't know better, sold the magic weapons which are thought to be used against the shriekers to a vendor and can't remember which one.
