Every build has some space for it - greatbow or ballista/cannon for str build, longbow for dex build, spells for int/fth/arc. Gius was S tier for me. I've always liked the tree sentinal bosses from the base game, and he was a more difficult and fun version of any of them. Draconic Tree Sentinal also gave you the ability to use torrent but made it more difficult with his super strong aoe attacks and lightning
Its just me or while fights like Messmer are truly cool, they feel more easy than others like Gaius and Bayle? Other than that i'd say hes S tier tho there are a few bosses i put above him. However, an issue i noticed is that in multiplayer his clones have no idea who they want to target and so its just a guessing game, stuck to helping people on messmer until i can get better at that fight
Phase 2 Radahn is C tier for me, and thats me being generous. I cannot stand him, he is the only boss in the history of me playing Elden Ring that made me completely respec to a build that everyone else used to defeat him because nothing else was working. Not even me and my buddy doing the double shieldbro + scarlet rot could get his ass down.
@@TheCoctor Just for reference, I was at scadutree level 20 using the same build I used for the entirety of the DLC. With that build (also not using summons for some attempts), I managed to get him past phase 1 and into phase 2 multiple times, but those fucking blinding attacks and and 11 piece combos that drain my stamina too oblivion trying to roll through. I tried summoning Mimic Tear but he kept getting annihilated most of the time before Phase 2. I also wasn't using any form of status effects up until I summoned my buddy to help, which he was running the shieldbro build with the scarlet rot sword and and even he couldn't find an opening because of A: how much clutter his attacks in Phase 2 are, and how ruthless his attack patterns are.
@@ungabunga115 i beat him with scadu at 16 with mohgs spear, took me around 20 hours over the course of a week. I wouldnt say that he has too little openings, even with a slow spear i could safely hit him after a majority of his moves, you can even get some fully charged r2s in. The biggest problem is definitely his unclear animations. In phase 2, the holy hits after every swing can mask some very crucial frames of his quickest attacks, same with miquellas hair when you stand behind him after a punish. Figuring out how to dodge his magic attacks took some trial and error, but wasnt too bad overall. However, even when you know how to dodge everything, its still extremely difficult to do, because he has multiple attacks that require a very fast reaction, but need to be dodged in different ways. All in all, learning to recognize his animations was pretty frustrating at first, but after i somewhat got them down it was a very challenging and honestly really fun fight. I think ill come to like him even more in my next playthroughs
I'm happy with this. Messmer is definitely the funnest fight once you learn his timing. Midra just Feels fair, everything is very obvious, there isn't a lot of movement and it's not a bullet hell. So despite being much easier and less "cool" of a fight it's definitely my favorite. I felt challenged and yet not abused.
He was not that good. First off, disappointing lore wise. We’ve already fought him once. First phase was good, but second phase was just constant flashbangs to where you couldn’t see when and where he’d attack. A difficult and challenging boss does not make it a fun boss to fight. I didn’t have much fun fighting him again and again, but I loved Bayle and Midra (I would’ve loved Messemer too, if I didn’t kill him in 2 tries). Not S tier. I think B was a good ranking for him.

Bro I beat bayle first try by spamming pest thread spears, it’s actually so busted 😂
How that? Always did more damage with the new lightning spear
@@llawlied6902 pest threads does more dmg when it goes thru the meaty parts of stuff because it hits as it goes thru, so aim it into his main body and u can get pretty insane dmg
Perdonally i dont mind anything radahn does, visual clutter never felt like an issie and all his moves felt fair to dodge, the only exception is that bullshit triple swipe.
Resisting the urge to say skill issue rn, because he really has some issues
I think ill come to like him even more in my next playthroughs
in all reality it’s hard but still fair - the blinding
"Some" camera issues
Ahhh yes the skibidi avatar
If you moved Rellana and Romania upto to S we'd have identical lists.
This video proves to me you can’t truly rank bosses until you do it sl1.
balanced list i can mostly agree with
(。-`ω-)b
I'm happy with this. Messmer is definitely the funnest fight once you learn his timing.
Midra just Feels fair, everything is very obvious, there isn't a lot of movement and it's not a bullet hell. So despite being much easier and less "cool" of a fight it's definitely my favorite. I felt challenged and yet not abused.
putting consort radahn anywhere but S tier is a crime
He was not that good. First off, disappointing lore wise. We’ve already fought him once. First phase was good, but second phase was just constant flashbangs to where you couldn’t see when and where he’d attack. A difficult and challenging boss does not make it a fun boss to fight. I didn’t have much fun fighting him again and again, but I loved Bayle and Midra (I would’ve loved Messemer too, if I didn’t kill him in 2 tries). Not S tier. I think B was a good ranking for him.
@@kylepauls5995That honestly just sounds like a skill issue, his phase 2 was the fun part about that fight. Maybe try turning down your brightness the next time you fight him?
@@kylepauls5995im happy we got to fight him again, we get to fight him in his glory and while he is strong and not just a husk. The fight is fun(i havent beat him yet but im 30 attempts in) his second phase is gun to watch and dodge
He has annoying moments but overall im enjoying him alot and i think at minimal A tier
@@Tererynah I agree with him. I think it’s just a badly designed boss. And yes I got gud, I beat him NG7, but he wasn’t it . A reused boss for the final fight of fromsofts biggest game is a let down. also it’s just not good game design when half the attacks blind your screen. Sure you can like him but from a game mechanics stand point , it’s infuriating and not fun.
To me , he’s an C tier. Good visuals bad design.
Rellana being difficult, b tier. 💀💀💀💀💀
How tf is metyr above any of the bosses you put below her?
I know they’re not a main boss by Jori the elder inquisitor is absolutely F tier and I will die on this hill
CURSE YOU BAYLE
Love the fact that NO ONE mentions the golden hippo. That fight is atrocious
All of these bosses were a challenge, radahn was just more of a challenge than most
Rellana's attack chains are difficult for certain builds? Every build can roll, this sounds like a skill issue
