Thanks Craig, I have some ideas for a video on the GT4. It isn't going anywhere though, just moving it to my storage unit to make space in my garage for my 924 Safari which is due back any day now.

Hi Johann, good video as always. Two small items on the interior backlighting. The main light switch should be backlit, just check if the little bulb inside is ok. There is also little “defrost” symbol in the middle of the main vents(above vertical slider) which is backlit with lights on.

Thank you Honza! I didn’t notice them not lighting up, but I did replace both those bulbs with new ones. I’ll check them out again 👍

Hi, Johann. Been watching since the first episode. Excellent effort keeping a rare car in the road.
One thing I noticed: You refer to the buildup of debris as "salt". Was the flood not a fresh-water rain event? If so then I think you mean "silt".

dont mess around with the lights, take the bumper off and drop the pods out from underneath - 6 bolts hold them in. You can then properly lubricate the brackets as well. The motors come apart relatively easily and can be cleaned. If you join porsche 968 uk I have lots of pictures of them. Use a rattle gun on all the bolts holding the headlights to the bracket as you will round them off otherwise...........

Thanks Jake, I already have the motors out, the difficult way 🙈 the corrosion is terrible and the one on the driver side was completely seized up. I opened both of them up and stripped them down. I cleaned, sanded and lubed them up again, but I am afraid they are too far gone. The only thing they do is heat up my relay.
