Love your videos brother! Just had a quick question, do you know how to go about installing a continental kit on a 95 fleetwood, tried looking for tutorials but haven’t had any luck, ordered a correct kit from acg but it didn’t come with installation instructions, any info would help.
Thanks I have a 94 Fleetwood great shape I have to change both front door clips where can I get the straps to put on the doors I am having a hard time finding parts for these beautiful cars.
I have a 3d printer and I'm pretty adept at designing pieces, but I'm missing the clips and I'm not sure if they are all the same or if they are different in different places (I've noticed that they have different numbers on them, but I don't know if the numbers refer to different locations/sizes...), so I have no context on design and dimentions. Because 3d printed parts are stronger in some directions then others it would probably be beneficial to print them in multiple pieces like the original, or even design them to use existing easily available push pins or plastic rivets. It might also be beneficial to modify the design to account for the strengths and weaknesses of 3d printing. Any help in figuring this out would go a long way WRT to turning this into a real thing instead of just a thought exercise (mental masturbation?)
Could the bracket you made out of metal in the "how to not lose the chrome panel video" be used all the way around possibly? 3d printing would be nice, people charge an arm and a leg for them because they're scarce. Love the videos man. Just got a 87 monte carlo ls 2 months ago. I got to stop buying projects lol
I feel you on the buying projects I dont think that clip would work to well any where else if i could figure out how to make the spring on the bottom then yes it would but at the moment it probably wouldnt do to good
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 damn lol I was hoping you'd say otherwise 😂 they still have some on the gm sites for like $70 a pop, ebay of course they're hitting em hard on those prices. As of now all mine are ok I think, but I have a clear coat issue on my passenger side fender and door, I want to fix asap but scared to remove the panels, in fear of springy thingy breaking. But your video makes me feel a little better about that, at least I know now exactly how to take them off and what's going on under there. Gotta love the projects I got the 94 fleetwood, 94 chevy stepside (scsb), and 87 monte carlo. I really need an a to b car though. I daily the fleetwood now, but want to let her chill some, just for mileage sake, and hate driving her in city traffic to work. Gives me anxiety lol I appreciate the reply and the honesty.
@@johnpippin2426 I belive I have some extra passenger side door clips I will look and let you know those clips normally dont break as easy but I will see what I got and give you a shout
That was easier than I thought. I might have to pull one of mine to get a dent out.

my panel had screws behind the plastic "fleetwood"trim, no wonder i couldnt get it off😖
