Thanks for the great review! Looking forward to seeing more contents for this air jack🙏Leaned a lot from your videos, keep going!
Plenty more to come I have been putting this thing to work!
Hi I have a 93 Fleetwood..can you tell me where you ordered that fuel pump assembly kit boss much appreciated
I gotnit from auto zone but I had to order it online they didn't even have a option for it in the store
Got a 1996 fleetwood where can I get the front inner metal fenders
Hit up Ryan brogen on Facebook
Pretty cool this is what i need for my frame. Thanks
It worked perfectly
@ found some on amazon that look identical to yours and rated 2k a piece for 139$ im going to scoop those up
Ditch the spring n holla at tony parks from Louisville Kentucky, he built a caddy driveshaft n worked all bugs out of it
“I didn’t read the instructions” was golden!! Us guys never do!! 😂😂
Good stuff 😊
Thanks
wata trip, i jus ordrd 1 lasnyt, then U post this 2day 👊🏼😎
Can you PLEASE explain how to take the three last bolts off the heads on the right side of the engine? (1993 fleetwood 5.7)Im having a very hard time just getting to them off. I welcome any and all SERIOUS suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Your talking about the passenger side head. The bolts closest to the rear of the car?
@thecadillacdanshow8658 yes
Good video audio lessons advice tutorial demonstration editing execution humbleness content, my new homie 👍
Thank you!
That thing is pretty cool! Man those birds had our 2 birds singing like crazy lol
I have the same problems watching videos that have dogs in them my dogs go crazy
@thecadillacdanshow8658 that's hilarious! I'm putting together a switch box. I'm doing 8 switches for 4 pumps. I'm assuming I can use a standard 9 wire cord for that it's been a while since I have wired a box. 4 pump 4:dump and a power right?
@richpianaproject4862 yeah that will work
Do you build and sell the lower a arms for that year of cadillac and how much?
Are you looking for some stock ones or reinforced
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 I am looking for reinforced.
Very funny!!!! I knew better.... 😂😂😂😂
Yep!
Beautiful car dude
Thank you
Saaaay whaaaaaat😮
@@crystalanddanbahringer5511 Exactly!!!
What metal did you use on that. You do really good work bro
Thanks! I use 3 inch wide c channel and 3/16 thick plate steel
@ Thank You Bro. You do amazing work and one hell of a welder. Keep doing you G
@anthonyechiribel4386 Thank you!
I be dam 😮
Will this eliminate having to get a wishbone?
What kind of vehicle?
@ 1966 impala
@jetjaguar52 best thing I could recommend for that year is to hit up pitbull hydraulics he makes a wish bone for that car. over all a wish bone would be better then the trailing arms used on that year
I'm looking to do a lay and play myself on a 4 door 64. I would be happy to buy any used parts to get me up and going. I seen Damons 79? here in Panama City that you hooked up. I'm working with half a budget but have to get this on juice before i pass. I got my dream car now have to get it on hydros. Even looking for rusty wires 13". Might be too low since I've cut 2 coils on each spring already
Keep an eye out on market place I have come across some older stuff for pretty cheap
Did you have to replace your distributor cap since it got wet?
This time no. But if you watch my distributor video I did have water get in there due to a hose leaking. It's kind of one of those jobs where if you can afford the distributor while you are doing the water pump you should change it
Nice work 👍🏾
Thanks!
You plan on bringing the Oldsmobile back out as a hopper anytime soon Dan?
I have for the last three years but it hasn't happened maybe this year I have been beating my fleetwood and should be focusing on my Olds that I built to take the beating
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 Yeah, I agree, keep the Caddy nice and hop the hopper. That would be some dope content to see the Olds getting finished and crashing bumper this year.
@78PastorE that's this year's goal! It needs a lot of work but I got a Christmas present that will help make things happen plus I just made some small bad financial decisions to help out making things happen for this car also
@ That’s what I’m talking about Dan!! Looking forward to the Oldsmobile Hopper content.
He said a budget build😂 who are you trying to fool.😂 Dang bro you're kind of ghetto fabulous you just got that many pumps laying around that's pretty cool. This is Derek by the way from Montana with the green Blazer...
Literally a lifetime of pumps every pump I had in the video I got when I lived in Florida that has been 12 years ago now (it sucks getting old) I scrapped a bunch of stuff I got from older guys before I moved i.e steel blocks and shit that require a string to dump. I didn't really know what I had
Things always wanna behave then the camera comes out lol. Great video though bro 💪🏽
You know it! When you want it to go smooth it dosnt when you want to look smooth it dosnt. it's all part of it though
I’m going to make a stand for my vice, I’ve tried pulling and twisting with no avail. Maybe since the tank has never had oil in it and sat for 2 years, maybe the O ring stuck?
Put a little oil in your tank and slosh it around and maybe spray some wd40 on the outside of the tank seal
@ I’ll give it a try, thanks again Dan #Jackie_6lu3
We're did you get the ratchet and socket set from and how much is it?
Auto zone I think it was around 30 bucks
It was a 4 pump set i had i used one for a backup i miss them i love the old one's
The pumps made it look easy… lol I’ve had to get apart brand new tanks and seals but I’ve been using air to blow them apart
I kind of thought about suggesting that but then there is a liability of a tank blowing apart
@ yes I agree but a bike pump makes it a lot more predictable
Luxor setup i had 3 of them great old pumps
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How long it take me do one lowrider in spirit?is this a house i live in when i rest
Nice i us a chain to loss minimum the pressure on the spring can you get every Haynes manual of all the cars you fix or lowrider
I have a Haynes manual for them but they never seem to have what I'm looking for. I need to buy a old gm shop manual that they used at the dealership
Were be my lowrider green regal at are you ACES-WHIPES or some cat that trys to fix my stuff in junk it
AWSOME JOB , THAT CUTTY HELLA GANGSTA NOW 👍🔥👍🔥👍
Thanks
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 YOU'RE WELCOME BRUH , KEEP THEM VIDEOS COMING 🔥🔥🔥
Great video. My trans mount was completely shot. My engine moved forward like this gentleman’s. If not for him explaining how to jack up the front of the Trans and not bolting in the actual transmission mount until after You mount the bracket first. I never would’ve gotten the bolts to line up. Great video. Luckily he and I had the exact same situation. Saved me $440 compared to the auto shop by doing myself.
Awesome glad this video could help you
A deer ran out in front my minty 93 last night sad times....she'll buff out fine and is identical to your gold 96 however the lights as if the door is still open refuse to turn off though it latches perfectly and there's no "door ajar" lights on the dash, been looking all over to find the right fuse to pull as to not disconnect the battery everytime till I can tear the door apart to find the electrical gremlin (MN winter here) Fuse #42 for interior lights didn't cut power to them oddly. Are they behind a different fuse or are the reading lamps internal in the door somewhere? If ya see this post thanks for reading and any replies!
Sorry to hear about that try pulling fuse 27 and see if the lights go out
What steel grade you use and hpw thick of steel is it?
3/16 cold rolled
I bought a 140 flux welder ,do you think it would be good for reinforcing and installing a bridge?it says I can weld 1/4 and I’m only using 3/16
I have seen people use those. do some test peices and cut them apart and check out the penatration
@ thank you will do
Tip: Next time you paint, make sure to wet down your floor, it will eliminate the trash from blowing up into your paint and or clear.
I did wet the floor one mistake I did was blowing out the shop before wetting the floor. Putting dust particals in the air
How long did you have heat on those spindles before you welded that reinforcement on there? 15 to 20 minutes with the handheld self lighting torch
You want to get them around 300 to 350 degrees after welding wrap them in a welding blanket so they cool slowly
@thecadillacdanshow8658 would that work for extending the spindles as well?
@awol1970 technically yes but I do not recommend extending them if anything I would donhigh lock up balljoints and weld the spacer that comes with the ball joint to the spindle and run the bolt through it all
@thecadillacdanshow8658 gotcha thanks for the insight.
Yes I am
Nice work brother, and I do need all the brackets
Are you talking about reinforment plates?
Dan, you can make a temporary test connection to a test speaker from the factory door speakers harness using alligator jumper clips (harbor freight has them). Try that to see if the speaker is toast. Door speakers are prone to failure as water drains through the door. Just a 6.5 inch speakers should fit. All that tweeter stuff is not reliable as water drains past the window glass and through the door. I agree GM quality sucks. Most everything newer does in all makes. I like the older trucks much better. Less complicated and don't suck so much. Lol. 73 GOD bless Earnest K5EWM 👍.
I will have to give that a try thanks
How do I contact you?
Do you happen to have the part number for that seal? Great video I'll be replacing mine once i get the seal. Thanks
I wish you could've make a video of you installing it and showing us how it looks from the inside when the trunk is closed cause I wanna put it on my 86 monte carlo ss
Is the 3/16 plate good for just a front/back/side to side or should I go thicker?
Yeah that's the go to for frames
Will do thank you is there any things I should be aware of as I build my 95?
All depends on what you want to do with the car. Best thing would be a full frame wrap for a basic street car I always recommend doing a partial on all the wheel openings and a bridge in the rear with the inside of the rear arches plated also. If you are going to be painting the car you can also add fiberglass to the inside of the rear quarter panels to keep them from buckeling
Gotcha I’m just going to be a lay and play ride front back left right nothing crazy at all just wanna know what I need to reinforce and what plates I can use
I recommend the front outside of the spring pockets the inside of the front spring pockets the front and bottom of the belly the rear arches and the rear spring pockets. You can get up with me on Facebook messenger I make all the plates and can ship them to you
Do you know where i can get trailing arm bushings for my 1997 lincoln town car. Maybe a part number or a part that will work
Is it a stock arm? If so check rockauto.com or partsgeek.com
Yea it's stock arms reinforced, I looked on there and nothing.... guess high dollar adjustable arms it is. Lizarde Hydraulics for me
@Irish4Life1982 he can get you taken care of and will be a high quality product
That fly. Sounds good in the headphones lol😂
