    You need to really listen. Don't be a person who's thinking about the next question they're gonna ask after they've asked one while your customer or prospect is speaking. They can tell you're not listening to them. And if you're not listening to them there will be no trust. With no trust, there is no buy. Good video, Patrick.

      Thanks Louie. You are right, make sure the questions you ask are actually guiding them towards a solution to their problems.

      @jeremyross7939try repeating the last 3 words that the prospect says to you right when they’ve finished talking, it’s a better flow than a pause and it gives them the feeling you’re trying to understand and not sell

      Don’t take advice about sale from someone that isn’t actually a very successful salesman. It is different than being successful at teaching people about sales. It is obvious that he knows the principles and read the books but hasn’t actually done it in real life.

    This sounds like SPIN selling. Situation, Pain, Implication, Need-payoff. That's a whole method of selling and it's for high ticket items or a professional service.

    My problem with selling is my purchase style is to do all the research before hand and then go in and buy. I can't be sold to.(It won't work)
    So in turn I also have difficulty selling to people as I have no idea how to get ppl to buy. And don't recognize closing signals.

      @esotericist 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Beyond Robert Cialdini's 6 principles (Reciprocity+++++) there is the truly dark art of manipulating somebody into doing some small, perhaps inconsequential, favour for you. They then have to convince themselves they like you - going forward - in order not to create the cognitive dissonance of "why would I do a favour for somebody I don't like? It's called the Ben Franklin effect. Dark Art.@@patrickdang PS Enjoy your clever content. Have reccommended it to my 18 year old (Oriental) son, here in UK.

    Just be honest, be honest about that you wan’t to make money for your living and focus on people who you think really need your product so that you can be honest about it being a win win for both of you. If you’re going to be a real good seller you shouldn’t feel that you want to hide if you would see one of your customers in the grocery-store one day. You want people to remember that you were a honest and good salesman.

    No one can sell anything to anyone.
    People ONLY buy what they need, want and desire, things that help them accomplish a objective or goal.
    If it doesn't help someone accomplish THEIR Objectives/Goals, and it is not a need, want or desire of their, no sale will be made, no matter the tricks or gimmicks you use.
