    I did a Batcholers in Mechanical Eng. I used to think the harder/technical the subject, the more money you will make later. Thats really not the case. People with business and accounting degrees are killing it out here. I'm about the start my masters in Industrial. Dont listen to people who speculate on how easy or hard it is, do your research on where the demand is.

    Thank you so much for always being so helpful! I am a first year student and I’m registering my classes for the second semester, I was thinking of taking Physics 1, Calculus 2, Computer programming, and operation research 1 linear models, but I don’t know if that would be a good idea or too much pressure since I heard that all of these subjects are super hard, I don’t know if I should take them all together. I know it depends on the person but do you think it would be better to remove one of these subjects and take a general one instead or take them all together? I took calculus 1 this semester and I was pretty good in it, but I’m worried about the rest. Thank you so much!

    • @aubri118
      @aubri118  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! This is a really good question. Like you said it depends on the person and in order for me to give you an accurate answer, I need to gage you. How strong are you in Calculus from 1-10? 10 being the strongest.
      Who is going to be your professor for operations research and what do people say about him/her? Operations research can be a tricky class but ultimately it’s depends on the professor, their teaching style, grading style , etc.
      Calculus 2 can also be a challenging class but all that means is you can put in extra work and be completely fine. A lot of times people just don’t put in that extra work, or they do it wrong.

      @@aubri118 thank you so much for taking your time and replying! I would say I’m did pretty good in Calculus 1, as I got 97/100, and I’m willing to put in my effort next semester for Calculus 2 as I know my classes might be very challenging.
      For operations research the instructor is yet to be announced so I’m not sure to be honest but I will make sure to ask. Can you tell me an overview of the subject, as I heard some people say it’s just like math and it would be difficult to take it with calculus 2&physics..thank you so much again for replying!

    • @ieguy1686
      @ieguy1686 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Atiya_419 Hey! It depends on the company you work for. I worked at a medical company that involved making medicine, and I only needed to know the high-level information that a Chemical Engineer, Environmental Manager, and Scientist shared with me in training. At the other companies I worked for, I only needed to watch out for hazard signs for safety reasons. Industrial Engineers are more like manufacturing businessmen. Hope that answers your question. :)
