well today i made alot of progress!
i defeated both eye of cthulhu and brain of cthulhu
1 soon to be 2 of the swords to nights edge
and even made my own gem hook!

Holy Moly dude noooo wayyyyy man thank youuu for this yo-yo is one of my favourite weapon types and I really like to regard this as a different class just because of the uniqueness of this weapon so thank you for this guide mainly because it will let people know how good of a weapon type it is

I am at the pillars atm and have an eye of cthulu yoyo that does 193 damage with the yoyo bag and all accessories rolled to luck for crit chance. I do 1300 to 2200 dps depending on the health of the enemy.

While in the early stages of the game, I've found defensive modifiers on accessories to be far far better than damaging, Terraria seems to only deal in whole numbers, and with 4% of 9 being 0.36, it won't add any damage to your yo-yo, so you'd be better off with nearly any other modifier (except for arcane for obvious reasons) sure you could argue that with multiple damage accessories you'd get an extra 1 or 2 damage on the wooden yoyo, or like 1-5 damage depending on the weapon, I find the 20 defense to be far more useful

I just finally beat moonlord with yoyo's, I really did beat him, my last attempt it took over 30 minutes, but after I got ufo mount and better accseorserys it toom 5 minutes or less :)

Get the Yelets, i get about 10 an hr from afk farm in cavern hallowed snow biome with jungle rates, water candle and jungle torches, also get like 2 platinum (5 if i sell the other weapons and equipment that drops)
I think you have to kill one mech boss for the yelets to have a chance to drop in the jungle

Do you think you could make a Playlist or section on your channel for 1.3? Because I play on switch and there is no 1.4 on switch yet.
Well, 1.4 will come soon, so probably not. The only 1.3 guide I have on the channel is the very first beginner progression guide series, which is already in the playlist "the casual terrarian" if im not mistaken.

Yeah, Wall of Flesh in expert mode Yo Yo'er is reaaaaally hard. I've heard that "attack speed" on yo yo's translates to it's max range...which means you can shove your potato on a string into the deth spagetti's Eye easier since you can stay out of range of more of the hungry. I've not tested this yet, but I also can note, that the poison flask works on the WoF where On Fire does not. combing the desert, I've acquired a few bast statues. which adds 5 defense to compliment the heart lantern camp fire, honey and sunflower buffs people can use for slight edge....and for me, it's needed. i'm NOT a combat monkey.
