Will Graves IMO all of them sounds completely different. Obviously the 1911 and m45 sounds the same as the are the same pistol, but other than that all 9mm pistol has their unique operating sound and reload sound.
Maybe it’s just me but the recoil and sounds aren’t the best. After the first shot on an M14, you should be way off target, and it should be at least half a second to re-align. I don’t get it. Sounds, some weapons especially the sidearms are done well. But the Dragunov, or SVD or whatever they call it in this game sounds like an airsoft weapon’s blowback.

One of my favorite things about the animations is how well you can feel the weight of the weapon. The little jerk of the wrist you get when you release the slide of a pistol and it closes is 100% authentic. Same with all the others, when you charge the bolt or slap a magazine. Not to mention the sound. Also not every recoil is exactly identical. It's almost as if they all have their own tiny imperfections.
The detailing on the guns are amazing in this game. You can even see the tiniest details like scuff marks, jiggling clip loops, even manufacturer part engravings! This is spot-on shit right here, great job

Nah, it drops fine when you're not moving. When dropping mag or an empty grenade shell, the game creates a world model, that's why the shell fell from the bolt.
I wish you would have shown off the feature where when you switch between fire modes you can see the fire selector move on the gun. I've only seen one other game do this and that's farcry 5

When playing on milsim server in the past I actually used the free look to check the position before engaging in a firefire. Little deatails in games goes a long way. This is why Iove NWI. Most people think the little things dont matter. But trust me, if you play enough shooters you start to really love the little things that add to the intensity of firefights. I am just sad that it doesnt have as huge of a following as the orignal did.
I've never seen this game before in my life but, I like the spark and smoke when ever you finnished firing, the sound and animation is realistic, and from what I see when you still have bullet in your Mags and reload you lost all bullet in it, unlike others games where you get back the amount of bullet left, and of course I prefer realistic so that's a nice touch to the game

The mk18 cqbr had a crazy amount of detail, from the older rear KAC sight to the KNS anti walk trigger pin. I didn’t expect to ever see a PF940 in any video game, kinda weird that one would be in a video game.
One thing FPS games never get right about the L85 is the bolt release catch. It's usually portrayed as a push in catch like the AR-15 style rifles as the character slaps it or just presses it in. In reality you push it down towards the ground to release the bolt

Because... the animation looks excellent, but a person in middle of a firefight wouldn't appear to be that relaxed
There’s a tactical reload where you keep the emptied mag with you, in case it has any bullets left in it. There’s also the quick reload shown in the video, where the magazine is dropped regardless if there are any bullets left in it. You reload faster that way.

Love these animations. Only thing I would've additionally liked to see is your character struggling with inserting the mag when the MP5's bolt is forward. On the MP5 it is quite difficult to seat a fully loaded magazine when the bolt is forward as there is very little room for it to lock into place with the bolt in the way, a quirk of the late '50s design. Apparently downloading the mags to 28 or 29 rounds makes inserting easier, but I'm assuming the ones in-game are loaded to the full 30.
The Uzi is open bolt so it shouldn't have the spring pushing the charging handle back after its cocked rearwards, unless your firing it of course. Only thing wrong with the animations.
One thing. They should not have included voice clips of struggling and urgency. The voices don't coexist well with the buttery-smooth reloads. I'm not complaining about the reloads as they're the best I've seen in an FPS game
My only gripe is the balancing of the “quick” reloads. ‘Cause not only do you ditch your current magazine, it really doesn’t save you much time at all to do so. So realistically speaking, the quick reloads really aren’t that viable. If they sped up the animations to make it feel more frantic, I think that’d be a lot better.
mrsnowman I mean as far as I could see it really only saved a couple of milliseconds, if that, on average. I still think they should really speed up those animations, ‘cause if you’ve ever watched pro operators, some of them can reload in less than a second depending on the weapon if they need too.

The devs said they had some issues in trying to port the game to consoles because they’re not that experienced with the platforms. They still said they aim for a 2019 release.

I think it was animated by a guy called MrBrightSide, a very talented animator that also worked on Titanfall 2 (and probably some other games).

It’s a British Army thing; It’s to be _absolutely sure_ that the bolt goes into lockup.
Last updates added the m107 and m99 .50 sniper rifles and qbz-03, and vhs2 5.56mm rifles

mrsnowman I mean as far as I could see it really only saved a couple of milliseconds, if that, on average. I still think they should really speed up those animations, ‘cause if you’ve ever watched pro operators, some of them can reload in less than a second depending on the weapon if they need too.
@@MetalZeroFour with the m4a1 for example the fast reload actually saves you about half a second. I have about a good thousand hours in sandstorm and I can tell you this half a second has saved my ass so often.
Are all guns unlocked from the start
This looks much better than the new cod everybody is hyped for...but when will Insurgency come to ps4? Too late and the Cod will scoop the prize
The devs said they had some issues in trying to port the game to consoles because they’re not that experienced with the platforms. They still said they aim for a 2019 release.
Eggroll Abyss i hope so :) but in the end ill probably buy both games when they go on sale haha
