Lots of famous guns(in other words guns that are usually in games) are fairly reliable so them jamming is usually the fault of bad ammo or the gun not recieving proper maintenence and considering in most games you are playing as some special forces with the best gear ever jamming is VERY unlikely and might happen once or twice per mission so theres no point in having gun jams be a thing in those game. The only times it actually makes sense is in games like STALKER where 1 your guns and ammo are old and falling apart and 2 you are meant to feel weak and vulnerable not like a super soldier like in most games. Most players dont like realisim when it comes to guns like jamming, suppressors not being silent, or needing to keep track of how much ammo is in each mag thats why you only see stuff like that in milsims and hardcore survival/horror games. Its just not fun to have stuff like that in games where you are meant to feel like an action star it just ruins the moment and will make lots of people drop the game because realism isnt fun most of the time
When you’re two hours deep since your last save, and you get ambushed by AI that can straight up see and shoot you through walls, and your gun jams and you die to an absolute bullshit ambush, and lose all your progress from those hours since your last save, THEN tell me it’s an “ok feature”
Are revolvers even jamming? I always thought they not, with this I could explain the necessity of their existence for myself. There might be a misfire, but jamming... not sure.
It wasn’t a jam but instead the revolver going out of time, similarly to a watch or a clock a revolver cylinder can be out-of-sync with the hammer and be misaligned, and the character manually aligns it again. This should only happen to very old, really used and abused revolvers though.
he holds the RPG in the same way as the Ukrainian military holds it, because this way he does not cramp his shoulder and neck when aiming for a long time
Good animations, but it bothers me how Skif moves with absolutely no sense of urgency. It's more like he's on a gun range than fighting for his life against a swarm of bloodthirsty monsters.
Can somebody explain me that thing, why are empty shells jumping out? Especially on aksu, when the mag isnt attached, others as i think must be pushed by magazine springs or smth How it works
The AK like most Assault Rifles use a detachable box magazine, once you pull back and let go of the charging handle, the bolt strips a cartridge from the magazine and feeds it into the chamber. Now let's say you then remove the magazine from the weapon, your one cartridge you loaded into the chamber is still in there unless you pull the charging handle again and then the ejector flips it out or pull the trigger to shoot that one cartridge.

Just by looks I think that’s the Wanderer suit
Ah yes, Far Cry 2 flashbacks :)
i thought the video was in slow motion, honestly they could've made the animations 1.4x faster and it would feel a whole lot better
still play some times farcry 2 jsut for that feature, idk why ppl are against that... i get its maybe inconvenient but its realistic af, and i hope game devs will bring back this more often... but i guess ill keep dreamin'
I hope for weapon durability and jams to return to Fallout and Far Cry too,
@@jomahawk7488 a gun jamming doesn't mean "instant death". Get to cover and unjam it. Learn to play shooter games
Just quicksave lol
Are revolvers even jamming? I always thought they not, with this I could explain the necessity of their existence for myself. There might be a misfire, but jamming... not sure.
It wasn’t a jam but instead the revolver going out of time, similarly to a watch or a clock a revolver cylinder can be out-of-sync with the hammer and be misaligned, and the character manually aligns it again.
This should only happen to very old, really used and abused revolvers though.
Revolvers do not jammed, the video shows a misfire
That’s not how you hold an RPG, you’re supposed to hold the trigger part with your left hand. 4:16
he holds the RPG in the same way as the Ukrainian military holds it, because this way he does not cramp his shoulder and neck when aiming for a long time
@@louie4435 ”😨”
Нет дружище, как раз правильно он держит, ибо в другом случае целиться и стрелять будет как минимум неудобно
Why's the video slowed down ?
Oh, cool, you also included unloading animations for pump shotguns. Too bad one for ram-2 is kind of boring.
And it`s nice to see updated gauss gun.
👍👍👍
I can't wait for mods for new weapons and animations show up. I hope they do anyways
Good animations, but it bothers me how Skif moves with absolutely no sense of urgency. It's more like he's on a gun range than fighting for his life against a swarm of bloodthirsty monsters.
This video on 2x looks way better and frantic
FC2, EFT, FO3, FO:NV & Dayz has all weapons jamming.
as well as metro; exodus
@@stardustsakura1984 yeah... but only if you heat too much the gun.
As well as the original STALKER Trilogy.
You can add System Shock 2 and also Boiling Point
With luck so bad that he manages to jam a revolver, he wouldn't be surviving for long in the zone. 5 minutes tops.
Could've found a revolver that bubba snapped shut too many times and now we have "misalignment"
The Toz is so funny to me cuz what else can you do with it but try again
Why do some of these feel like theyre in slow motion??
Its all slowed
Because they are slowed down by 10% 👍
@@Weapons_From_Games oooh. Okay 👌
don't you just hate it when your highly explosive rocket repelling gun just fails to fire?
Bethesda: GSC made these animations. In a cave. WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS.
Can somebody explain me that thing, why are empty shells jumping out? Especially on aksu, when the mag isnt attached, others as i think must be pushed by magazine springs or smth
How it works
The AK like most Assault Rifles use a detachable box magazine, once you pull back and let go of the charging handle, the bolt strips a cartridge from the magazine and feeds it into the chamber. Now let's say you then remove the magazine from the weapon, your one cartridge you loaded into the chamber is still in there unless you pull the charging handle again and then the ejector flips it out or pull the trigger to shoot that one cartridge.
