Just thought I’d make a comment for everyone wondering about why the revolver can use a grip and a suppressor (two things revolvers typically can’t use) the one in game is based on a Russian pistol known as the nagant, the one in game isn’t technically a nagant, but it’s frame and mechanisms are the same (in game its even stated the nagant is an inspiration) normal revolvers release the heat and pressure from a fired round out of the cylinder instead of the barrel, which would result in burning your hands with a rifle grip or making a lot of noise even with a suppressor, where as a nagant works more like a regular pistol, it’s barrel seals the round and cylinder, resulting in the heat and pressure coming out of the barrel. Which allows grips and suppressors, this has been your local history lesson for metro 😂 have fun!
In the lore, the metro dwellers found the 7.62 of the nagant insufficient for the mutants. they found the 44 magnum cartridge sufficient to the job and standardized it for the metro.
Whenever you cycled the bolt on the valve 2 and valve 3 and the M1 Garand type "*ping*" sound would go off, my ASMR reactions would start... that noise is so beautiful...
And what about the flamethrower, Stallion and Sammy? And also Valve has the 5th version with the suppressor which you can find only in Vladivostok when you’re playing in the Sam’s Story DLC
I remember I made one helluva sniper carbine with the revolver using a scope suppressor and the double action mods. Thing would body people left an right
I have 3 rules that I follow whenever I play Metro 1) Never put supressors on AR and shotgun. It weakens the damage since I mainly use it against mutants. If I have to use it against humans, then it should be in a full-blown firefight. 2) If stealth is optional, use it. 3) Conserve ammo, use bursts or aim at its head.
The only complain about the game is Artyom's snail like weapon handling....he's just too slow, I mean man, he's a veteran warfighter who is fighting ferocious animal like creatures and trained soldiers for a long time but he still pulls bolts and changes magazine like a rookie soldier
Has anyoned else noticed how the Bulldog appears to ne ejecting its spent cases backwards, with the end the bullet itself goes into facing the player? Not sure if it's an oversight or not, but it sure looks weird. I'm not sure even a brass deflector (which the charging handle may or may not act as) would allow a gun to eject quite that way.
I hope a definitive edition of the game releases which gives us mods for the gatling and maybe actually does something with those stats you see when modifying your suit.
The one thing I liked about this system is that it combined a bunch of pre-existing weapons, and made them variants of others. It’s actually pretty clever when you think about it.
The Shambler 3-Round mag reload is something that I wouldn't want to have to deal with. I don't need to have that action close on my fingers.... I like my fingers!
The sad part about Metro is that After Caspian. which you get to use new weapons, like Valve. Shambler. and Bulldog after that map you are forced to use crossbow when whatever gun you can loot in Taiga. and worst part is that Dead city is just a linear map and with no human enemies so the whole stealth mechanic of the game is completely out the window.
Lolife?did you used that thing in LL?I respect that but in my opinion the recoil is so hard in the auto mode, and if you want a semi auto supressed gun,you have the .44 magnum, even whit more damage. So in my opinion the lolife makes no sense

I love how for the valve they had to use and old ww1 gas operating system like the one you see on the chei rigotti which has the same gas operating system
I’m quite a bit disappointed in the fact that the developers left out all of the other weapons from Metro: Last light. I would’ve loved to have seen a much larger and updated arsenal to Metro Exodus. Variety is the spice of life.
I wish they gave some new weapons in this version, I mean upgraded graphics is good but they should also give us more weapons or atleast some new difficulty.
Several new weapons would’ve been nice. Sure, we got the Hellsing, and than the M1911/Stallion and AK12/Sammy in Sam's Story, but I was hoping for at least ten new weapons. We’re outside of the Metro! Give us more, you know?
@@decimation9780 This is what kinda made me sad, we were outside of Metro even outside of Russia for the first time, they should have give us new weapons. I mean its good to be able to use Bastard, Tikhar and those 2 shotguns and the sniper rifle, but lorevise those weapons were created in Moscow so its strange seeing them in the hands of Bandits in the forest level, thats what ruined the immersion for me. Or they could atleast make it so that we could use the weapons from the DLCs in the base game
@@filipstudeny Maybe once we got to the forest, we were out of Russia. But even at the Urals, we were still in Russia. I agree though, should’ve been more weapons in Exodus. Even some banged up prewar weaponry would’ve been nice, especially since we know that submarine captain in Vladivostok was running guns, booze, and I think drugs if I’m remembering correctly, to and from Russia. So we should’ve encountered weapons from other countries in Exodus in the base game, not including Sam's Story.
- So, we made gun which uses Gast double barreled system, it's actually authentic because soviets had a long story of making Gast guns - Good, how did you named it? - Gatling - ....
Hold up, why does the first revolver only carry three shots? It's a Revolver, shouldn't they normally carry six? (Sidenote: I tried looking up if there were three-shot revolvers, and I think Google misunderstood me, because it decided to show me something called the 'Pistola Con Caricato'. An eighteen-round, three shots at once revolver. The thing's got a cartridge space the size of a small cake!)
If you could provide information as to where those upgrades are I would be eternally grateful. I never could find the large mag for the bastard or all the upgrades for the valve
The enhanced edition is the definitive version of Exodus. Not just because of the graphical improvements, but because it fixed alot of bugs as well. For example, the stock 3-shot Shambler clip is broken in the original game. It makes the shotgun unusable until you find the 12 shot magazine for it. But in this one, it seems like the default mag now works and the gun is usable. Man, I really wish I had an RTX card rn so I could play it lmao
The shambler seems to be a long-recoil operated system, using a toggle-lock and odd flatspring for the recoil spring for the toggle-lock, along with the odd rotating-clamp feed system. I think the only part that wouldn't really work is the feed system, unless you made the clamps in such a way to move out of the way of the closing bolt, and if it accurately was able to feed properly. I would imagine without it being properly able to line the shell up with the chamber, you'd run into a lot of failures to feed from the shell getting lodged awkwardly against the side of the chamber. That's also just so long as the bolt doesn't catch on the clamp and get stuck. I would be terrified of the flatspring being used to reset the toggle as well.
@@watchmebarelywrite the bolt itself still moves on one axis like any traditional firearm, so i think that would just be the regular idea of an extractor on the bolt face and an ejector on the opposite side attached to the receiver. Everything about it seems feasible, the clamps are a bit dubious though. Mag-fed version of the shambler would likely be completely doable.
But doesn't the bolt go under the feed lips of the mag when the detachable magazine is equipped? So wouldn't it extract right back into the mag?@@TheEveryDayC
It’s in the decrepit ship that the bandits use as a slave prison. When you get to the fighting room, go right, straight ahead, then right again. There should be two guards in there. Take them out, and a quad barreled Ashot should be on the counter next to the ladder
Fun fact: Eventho we already have revolver guns, revolver rifles have never become staple weapons for the army not because we can't afford to mass produced them, it's because of chain firing, which causes all six shots to be fired at the same time, normally this wouldn't be incredibly dangerous for a single hand guns but when you're firing it like a rifles your hand often "cease from existing" when chain fire happened.
I bought the game last week No Regrets But the Iron Mode is just dumb I thought if I exit the game that it would be saved but instead No Save do devs expect players to play 8hours a day to get a Thropy ?

Sad I will never be able to play this version of exodus. Cry's in gtx 1060.
F me too *cries in 1650*
Wish me luck with my 1070
Played it with a 1050 TI wasn't too bad it was on medium settings but it was still beautiful as f*** though

I’m addicted to playing this game on my rtx 3080 I love this game I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Playing FPS games.
I have 3 rules that I follow whenever I play Metro
1) Never put supressors on AR and shotgun. It weakens the damage since I mainly use it against mutants. If I have to use it against humans, then it should be in a full-blown firefight.
2) If stealth is optional, use it.
3) Conserve ammo, use bursts or aim at its head.
I wished they made the Bulldog reload angled a bit higher so the magazine insert is visible.
I may be 10 years too late to the party on this but there has to be an INI file for FOV Configurations right?
@@kepofshangri-la8942 Yes, but I'm talking about the angle. Like, raise the gun up and tilt it a bit when reloaded to make it more active(?) looking.
What?
@@goose2323 5 months late, but watch the Bulldog's section. It's ejecting spent cases backwards, at least in this video.

They do?
The one thing I liked about this system is that it combined a bunch of pre-existing weapons, and made them variants of others. It’s actually pretty clever when you think about it.

Аххаахахахаххаах
If you listen closely to the valve reloads you can hear an m1 grand ping when the empty bullet shell is ejected
These are the best gun sounds I have ever heard in any game ever. yes they are even better than Tarkov or Insurgency Sandstorm. Absolutely unreal.
5:16 that indirect color bleed from wood stock to left hand looks so cool, is running with ray tracing on?
The Shambler 3-Round mag reload is something that I wouldn't want to have to deal with. I don't need to have that action close on my fingers.... I like my fingers!
Seeing that it’s toggle-locked too, I don’t blame ya in the slightest. Talk about Garand thumb times a 1000000.
@@braedengriffiths4249 9 an 1/2 finger's here we come!!!
Bro, i know right 💀
The bulldog is based off alot of russian 50 cal bullpup assault rifles but also alot of TKB Rifles
dude i wanted to play this game again. with everything of it, Metro Exodus felt sooo good
I was kinda sad they didn’t keep the lolife from last light but the Sam’s story DLC and 1911 was great
Lolife?did you used that thing in LL?I respect that but in my opinion the recoil is so hard in the auto mode, and if you want a semi auto supressed gun,you have the .44 magnum, even whit more damage. So in my opinion the lolife makes no sense
You know it wasn't just 1911 imin metro exodus 1911 were merge into tt44 I think, so yeah, 1911 and tt44 had almost same weapons but different ammunition
This pleases me after having to deal with the terrible pipe weaponry in Fallout 4.
As much as how i like the look and feel of the gun.
Some of this seem more hassle to make then just finding part to fix most for modern gun.
The valve is very functionally similar to the Swiss K 31
The attachments like Box Magazine (Shambler), Staggered Magazine (Valve), Pneumatic Bow (Helsing) & Railgun (Tikhar) are New Game + transferible ONLY in the Enhanced Edition?
If only Fallout 4 pipe weapons had the same feeling as these
4:57 Artyom would hurt his hands constantly in 2033. I can imagine him from that game losing every single finger to the Kalash 1.

Ну, что тут сказать. Картинка довольно сочная, местами очень. Атмосферно (Как и любая часть Метро). Сюжет не особо хорош, но довольно цепляющий. Даже сказать не могу как это отлично передали.
How did you have acess to those weapons after you've completed the ending? Because I'm pretty sure that U don't get the box mag for the shambler until the very end
Also because there's no corssbow in caspian

I love the way exodus did guns, I would love to see some multiplayer survival games use this
I love how for the valve they had to use and old ww1 gas operating system like the one you see on the chei rigotti which has the same gas operating system
This guy is just thinking “take that you stupid f@cking wall”
I really like the progression of the Valve, from single shot bolt action, to straight pull with magazine, to gas operated semi auto. So satisfying.
I’m quite a bit disappointed in the fact that the developers left out all of the other weapons from Metro: Last light. I would’ve loved to have seen a much larger and updated arsenal to Metro Exodus. Variety is the spice of life.
It was like this cause for we werent in Moscow
Helsing reloading sound is satisfying for me to hear because, in my opinion, it sound realistic.
I wish they gave some new weapons in this version, I mean upgraded graphics is good but they should also give us more weapons or atleast some new difficulty.
IMO, I wish they gave the Gatling more love
@@decimation9780 The level in the desert is set in kazachstan the others are in Russia.
I like how the casing sound for the valve is just a sample of the m1 ping
Still better revolver reload animations than Treyarch.
Somehow i never noticed through my whole 3 play throughs that the valve made a very feint M1 Garand PING sound.
I love this game. Amazing!
Well playthrough number 9 here we come.
Does anyone notice the heat wave near the gun if you shoot constantly?
it is funny to see how a humble revolver can turn into a sniper rifle
yo this game kinda reminds me of that one game called Metro Exodus.
Cause it is Metro or you are speaking irronicly ?
@@scarydave7245 he's probably joking
@@scarydave7245 no this isn't Metro Exodus this is Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition silly.
@@moistmanatee484 Ohhh I getttt it 😅
There's nothing to different it. They are same game, just remastered version (but it requires RTX)
I didnt knew this till yesterday but even the damn Valve can jam
- So, we made gun which uses Gast double barreled system, it's actually authentic because soviets had a long story of making Gast guns
- Good, how did you named it?
- Gatling
- ....
You are doing a Great Job. I Love gun sound on Metro
Budget Cuts I imagine
It's Metro, everything is possible,it's a makeshift pistol,so of course you have a makeshift 3 shot cylinder and action.
If you could provide information as to where those upgrades are I would be eternally grateful. I never could find the large mag for the bastard or all the upgrades for the valve
REALLY liked and enjoyed watching another AWESOME weapons showcase once more!
Can't get enough of these Makeshift/Improvised weapons right here...
I think the idea is the bolt slides in between the clamps to close. But that still begs the question of how the damn thing ejects...
Metro exodus has really good reload animations imo
Didn't know there was a four barrel mod for the ashot. Where did you find it?
It’s in the decrepit ship that the bandits use as a slave prison. When you get to the fighting room, go right, straight ahead, then right again. There should be two guards in there. Take them out, and a quad barreled Ashot should be on the counter next to the ladder
So am I really the only one who has ever heard of or seen the bastard's extended magazine or four barrel ashot, or semi-auto valve!!!
Alright so did they add the dlc weapons to the main game yet? Can we get a silencer on the valve or nah?
no sadly, i was wondering the same thing.
probably the only video ive seen that look the same as real life......just like those videos on TH-cam where people just aim down sites and reload
Fun fact: Eventho we already have revolver guns, revolver rifles have never become staple weapons for the army not because we can't afford to mass produced them, it's because of chain firing, which causes all six shots to be fired at the same time, normally this wouldn't be incredibly dangerous for a single hand guns but when you're firing it like a rifles your hand often "cease from existing" when chain fire happened.
well I doubt it's an issue with the more modern cartridges used in this game...
Fo4 should hire the person who made the animation and guns on this game
I bought the game last week
No Regrets
But the Iron Mode is just dumb I thought if I exit the game that it would be saved but instead No Save do devs expect players to play 8hours a day to get a Thropy ?
It’s mainly for speed runners or people that have basically run out of literally everything else to do, I did it over a weekend and it was decently fun, but definitely wouldn’t do it again lol
