Just seeing if you have Any tips/suggestions on repairing a lfx28968st icemaker? It's not making ice. My Tech says has good water pressure. Valve is working. Water dispenser has water. He's changed board on ice maker. Changed icemaker. He says valve don't get power when it goes through the cycle. Any ideas? Or anything else to try?
A lot of models are similar, most new lg ref. have a water valve assy on the inside of dispenser doors, real close to bottom you will notice a screw that holds cover for valve assembly,under that cover you will find water reservoir , lines and valve assembly. Just out of curiosity why do you need to replace water line?
I too need to replace the water line on my LG (same model as the one you used). the line that leads from the filter to the water line cracked. Do I need to disassemble the door to do this? Other videos have shown the tubes being pulled out then put back in simply by way in the existing conduit. I hope that I don't have to take a door apart to do this. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome!
I would love to clean my ice dispenser because it has some gunk around it but I wouldn’t dare try this. Good video tho. At least now I know that it is possible.
chella flores Pull the tray as much as it goes out, then look from below and if you use flashlight you will se small plastic tab stoping it from going out all the way.Use small screwdriver and gently lift the tab while pulling on tray. It goes preety easy.Just go gentle not to snap the clip.

How do your remove the drip tray that slides out? I need to get under neath and clean it. Please help!!!

Any chance you have the model number of the solenoid for the flap door? My door is stuck open.
