I was watching intently and noticed something was missing, and after you connected the tie rod to the knuckle the missing something had appeared like magic! ;-)
Did you notice a different style bolt for the passenger side rear bolt on the lower control arm? Has a cam with it. Did you reuse the came or just a matching bolt
Like your what your with the truck, I just bought the same djm kit, interested in know what type of bolt you got for the control arm, for camber and caster??
Great videos. My buddy has an 06 Ranger with a 4/5 drop. He's running 225/50/17's on the front but has problems with rubbing on the wheel liner. What's the size of your tires?
hello, I need some information, I bought the same telescopic suspension kit with everything but I didn't receive the anti-roll bars and I'm interested if you can give me a complete measurement and a measurement of the middle part between the bushings
I havent tested ride quality yet as Im still doing some work to the truck but I can imagine it will be much better than before. With the coil spring spacers the truck was just terrible so taking those out alone is going to make a difference along with the djm kit
I didnt run into any issues with a lean in the front but sometimes if your spring isnt seated properly you can drive a bit over bumps and it may seat itself.
I literally only came here to figure out how to install the top of the shock since mine wasn’t tightening, and of course its the one thing you dont show
Please show how to drill grease hole cause I lubed everything up on mine and I still have a god awful squeaking in the frontend thanks mine came with the zerk fittings but it not enough
I just did this drop a while ago. Ran into some interesting problems. First the drop is very nice front feels great super stiff but still rides decent. First problem I ran into was the sway bar end links. I fixed this by cutting off the brackets from djm and fabricating up some of my own so I could run factory length end links. Second problem I am having issues with the alignment my camber is super off. It’s very positive not sure if it’s an issue with the caster camber bolts I picked up or something else. I will be looking into that a little more.
Hmm interesting problems, cant say I ran into the same issue with the end links but once I get the truck aligned Il find out if there are any problems with my caster/camber
What an absolute pleasure to watch and learn.
Thanks!
I lowered mines already with a 2/3 kit but I’m in the process of going lower n’ fully customizing it ! I deff enjoy watching your videos for help 🤙🏾
Thank you man 🙏 Goodluck with the ranger, Im sure itll turn out great
You need a couple series bigger tire. Because it will fill in the wheel well and not ride like a lowered Honda.
Yup, you arent kidding. I ended up sizing up shortly after I made this video and it made a huge difference

Hmm what was it?
@@paule01 The shock absorber.
@@777Justin Ahh you're right, I forgot to include the footage of installing it haha, good catch
Looks good , I wouldn't go with low profile tires though , I think even a Supercar looks killer with some actual side wall .
I agree, these tires came with the wheels when I bought them but Id like to size up the side wall to a 50
Hey Paul, do you happen to know the size wheel spacer you have in the front? And are you running one in the rear as well?
Hey, I believe it is a 1.25 inch spacer up front and I dont have one in the back
@@paule01 I appreciate the quick response. I’m using your video as a tutorial while doing my DJM kit right now. Thanks!
@@prokill00 thanks, thats awesome to hear! Take your time and let me know if you have any other questions 👍
Looks great!
Thank you! 👍

Thanks and Im not too sure because I bought the kit locally off someone who never ended up installing it on their own truck.
Thanx for the reply
What width of spacers did you use accommodate fitting the center caps in the front?
I had to use a 1" spacer
Great videos. My buddy has an 06 Ranger with a 4/5 drop. He's running 225/50/17's on the front but has problems with rubbing on the wheel liner. What's the size of your tires?
Thank you and theyre 235/40/18 but Id also like to go with a thicker sidewall tire. I may have to take out the liner or clearance it a bit
Hey Hosni, I was thinking about the 4/5 drop, did removing the wheel liner fix the issue? I am running a slightly bigger tire, 235,55,17.
@@matthewgreene2527
I dropped down to a 215/50/17. did the trick for me.
can you link all the stuff you added to the truck or do a video on all the things you did to the truck?
I will be making a video in the next month or 2 talking about all the mods done so far so stay tuned
hello, I need some information, I bought the same telescopic suspension kit with everything but I didn't receive the anti-roll bars and I'm interested if you can give me a complete measurement and a measurement of the middle part between the bushings
Do you mean the length or diameter of the sway bar?
I'm referring to the stabilized bar ends, I'm interested in their length because having the kit from djm they are clearly not standard
I'm referring to the part you edit in this video at minute 5:00
The complete length side to side is approx 45 inches and the length of the shaft in between the bushings at the end is approx 5 inches
Thank you very much
How’s the ride quality compared to stock? I’m debating whether or not to drop my ranger. Nice vid

did you run into any sort of lean in the front? around an .5-1in? trying to figure out if i seated the spring wrong or if it’s the weight

@@paule01 gotcha thank you man

If you look at the top of the threads its squared off so you can put a wrench on the top to stop it from spinning when tightening it down.
How those shocks work for you? I went with the belltech nitros they are a bit bouncy for my liking.
@@ryderczarnecki-es2go they seem to be pretty good so far
Did you have to drill grease holes in the upper control arms or did it come with them?
I had to drill them but it’s very easy to do
Please show how to drill grease hole cause I lubed everything up on mine and I still have a god awful squeaking in the frontend thanks mine came with the zerk fittings but it not enough
Fender openings are so big compared to those tiny wheels.
Does that fit on a Mazda b2200
Can u put 2 inch spacers on lower arms if I want to come up 2 inch

Any rub upon turning to full lock?
Nope no rubbing issues
Sooo... I guess you won't be going off-road anytime soon? 🤔
Haha I think this trucks off-roading days might be over
Whats the wheel and tire size? Spacer
What end links are you using
They came with the kit
What brand is the drip kit?
Where did u buy the lower kit?
I purchased it locally off someone who didnt install it on their truck
check out ricks rangers on his website and ebay store!!
