I've just had mine done too and also have the waterfall taps, long tray and flip shower screen.Mind you, I had to put 2 rubber shower mats down as I nearly slipped on to my arse when I put hair conditioner on 😅 I honestly was howling at you finding a mirror suitable for a short arse and a 6 footer. You're hilarious 😄

Love 💗 it I wish I had a bathroom like that. I live in the states I would think they have the floating toilets and rimless. What a game changer not more trying to clean under the rim and around toilet 🚽 on the floor, good for older people and bending over. Thanks again they did beautiful work and in 5Days 🤩🤩

So many comments coming from me... I'm screaming at "Girls Don't Poop!" you're hilarious. Great start. Next, the two tiles are perfect. Looks like a swanky hotel. Blondie can hide in there & you & Pepsi will never find her. Next, the bath fixtures you picked are also perfect scale for the space. Now, the caveats... even though it is a mat finish, get a good fluffy bath mat because tile is slippery & you could slip & fall. That's a real bummer when you live alone. Lastly, HUMIDITY is your ENEMY. No exhaust fan can lead to hard to remove mold on the grout in the shower & will cause damage to drywall and subfloor. So it's important to open the window when showering Spring, Summer & Autumn. Leave en suite door open when showering and some moist air will dissipate into your bedroom in Winter which helps. Finally, we're complete strangers but I feel like your American Aunt and cannot tell you how excited & happy I am for you to be able to get this dream bathroom. It's absolutely wonderful!!! 🙂
Wow Catherine your bathroom is beautiful. I love everything. And as a short lady myself that mirror is perfect. My toilet seats come off too, so much easier to clean. Your builder did a fantastic job. Enjoy relaxing in your beautiful bathroom 😊💖
So lovely! You will feel like a princess now! Only suggestion is to maybe replace that wire basket with a wicker basket, maybe even a white one, it will hide the stuff. 💕
Very tasteful bathroom! Wish I could have such professional input for when I renovate my bathroom! I live in the North West of England so Thomas is out of the question sadly! Just be careful if using glass bottles and jars because if they fall they can ruin tiles and basins and shower trays. I speak from experience!

Well done, Catherine! What a fancy, new bathroom. I'm 4'11" and my husband is 6'1".... so our mirror covers the wall above our vanity.😂😂😂 It is incredibly handy to have a tall man around to reach everything for me!!😉❤️
In the US we call that a knee wall. Use it as an attic space (like the previous people did). The floor under the floor is called a Sub Floor. The bath is just great. So modern and clean. Oh....enjoy that Sunny Wee! Lol

Simply stunning! This is a gorgeous bathroom! Looks very high end! Now to be perfectly honest I’m completely surprised at how ultra modern and masculine this bath is! Really thought you’d choose items that would lean more Victorian- shabby chic- reproduction type fixtures, really unexpected. Again it’s a gorgeous bathroom and I know you’ll get so much enjoyment using it!
Her style is lovely. However I think for something as expensive as a bathroom, it's a good idea to keep it style neutral for the sake of resale value. She can always add some details via towels, accents, etc. Homes are an investment! 😊
Loving your new on suite , maybe it would be nice for a plant on one of the shelves in shower , to add a bit of greenery in especially as you love gardening . Xxx
it’s absolutely gorgeous. Love everything about it and that sink unit works perfectly with the rest of the bathroom. Going to share this with my husband as i simply love this and will give him an idea for when we get round to doing our bathroom as we fancy a walk in shower i think x now go treat yourself to that shower girl 🚿

Absolutely beautiful. The only thing us older people would do is smaller floor tile or pebble tile shower floor. Everyone has fell at least thrice using our beautiful large shower, so we're in process of changing items now. Enjoy, but maybe throw down a towel until you get mats for shower floor. Blessings

Be careful of insulation in the rafters in dormer it is irritating to skin. You have an excellent plumber/builder . Storage that is walled and has a floored enclosed area good idea. Love the skylight I hope you learn alot during the Reno. You are a beautiful funny and entertaining girl. My husband.and his best friend built fancy houses in America. I think matte tiles are stunning and they did good job on Chevron pattern. YOU organized bathroom redo well done. This video helpful. Feel like a princess you are lovely and lively. And, I'm all excited about a secret extra room with so much extra storage place, whoohoo!👍 😊 I could see it so easy to lay down a floor to cover the fibreglass insulation and then space for stuff, with no wasps! What a bonus from renovating your bathroom. Mind you, if it had been my house I'd have had that old door off pretty quick after moving in, looking for secret cubbies full of old clothes or boxes of antique photos. I'm almost as chuffed for the extra room as I am for the fantastic new bathroom. Good job, well done lass! 😁😘

@@DaintyDiaries over the last few weeks u have encouraged me to buy a cricut ( I don’t need much encouragement 🤣)then I thought aww well u need a Mac book 2, and then hobby craft kept winking at me saying as I had just got a cricut I need everything to go with it 😳 so a dress isn’t going to do as much damage, I love your channel it gives me so much inspo xox

I could see it so easy to lay down a floor to cover the fibreglass insulation and then space for stuff, with no wasps! What a bonus from renovating your bathroom. Mind you, if it had been my house I'd have had that old door off pretty quick after moving in, looking for secret cubbies full of old clothes or boxes of antique photos.
I'm almost as chuffed for the extra room as I am for the fantastic new bathroom. Good job, well done lass! 😁😘
