how does one get to that initial screen though?
That would be awesome if my car didn’t constantly throw the error “system update not available see your dealer”, and then the dealer keeps it for a week & says they can’t fix it. FOR ALMOST A YEAR. Get it together Honda!
I am facing the same issue.
I took it back to the dealership (Northtown Honda) i bought 2 weeks ago (4/20) they told me misleading information. They told me that error means there’s no update available for the vehicle.
I told them it’s could not reach honda server (no last checked date) how can it know that there’s no update. Technician said when there’s an update i would see “1” on the update icon.
So it’s like magic? It’s technology, not magic. If it can’t reach the server to check how can it ever know of any available update. I can’t believe the dealer would tell me that misinformation.
When did you fix system update error? I spend 3 appointments and 9 hours. And every time it’s pop out.. system update error.. I’m really tired with this

I have same issue on 2024 accord hybrid touring. Submitted 3 tickets to Honda a week ago without hearing back.
How can I update the software if there is no "System Updates" button option on my car? Is it a regional problem at Brazil?

It is very frustrating. Same error. Wasted 3 appointments so far.
This Honda Video is worthless, I have been setting in my Honda for 30 minutes trying to update it, it says no Network Connection.

It’s a Honda scam software internet glitch system to bait purchasers to spend money buy a WIFI CAR PACKAGE CONNECTED to fix it or you can try to go to any free wifi network and connect for the car to install it updates correctly. Just remember, the system updates need a strong connection.
I think probably your phone (internet doesn’t have wifi strength to download the updates, and when you use your iPhone or any phone connect to CAR PLAY or BLUETOOTH, the car cannot pick up the connection strength) so thats why it say UPDATES ERRORS, updates not available failed, probably Honda, they all want everyone to buy a Atat wifi data Package 15$ a month subscription to your car AlWAYS have WIFI and your system always can updates correctly because you have wifi in your car 24/7!
Remember if there is no internet connection in the car, any system updates will automatic fail!
