- Happy Easter 2023!!! ✝🥳🐣🌷
THE DAY HAS COME and I'm finally posting the beloved Widor Toccata! I've only played it as a postlude a few times and will continue to work on it. For now, I ask that you overlook my errors! 😅
I hope you all had a blessed Easter Sunday and got to celebrate it in some way! :) Alleluia!! Jesus has Risen!
~ Sarah 💕

This isn't an easy piece to play.. I know. Sadly my older fingers cannot do it anymore. This is absolutely marvellous for such a young lady.
This organ is a beauty! But the one playing it also!
Beautiful performance; well done!
I had this at my father's funeral so that people didn't leave miserable
Great idea!
Most impressiv organ work i know, i wish i could play it. The people must have thought wow...
Had it for my mother's funeral. Took a few people by surprise, and she would have loved it
Sono d'accordo,a termine di un funerale, bisognerebbe fare questo. Anche, per esempio al termine di una cerimonia qualunque. Terminare con una bella sonata per Organo è sempre, almeno per le anime sensibili, un sussulto di emozione!!!
Now I want it at mine, trouble is there is no organ at our local crematorium.
This reminds me of my experience as a young man in church at the end of a service. Normally, during the postlude ,the people (including me) would simply leave the service, talking with other people as they walked down the aisle. The postlude was background music. On this occasion, the organist played Widor's Toccata as the postlude. It was amazing. Instead of continuing down the aisle, I stopped, and sat down to LISTEN to the postlude. I was not the only one to do so. It is interesting to see in the background of this video that so many of the worshipers here are walking out instead of stopping to listen to and appreciate this superb performance.
It's definitely a showstopper!!
Awesome performance! What makes it so very good is that, like Widor himself, you play at a relaxed tempo, which allows the music to breathe.
Bravo, bravo. She’s a wunderkind! sic. The organist at the church where I’d go on Easter always played this as recessional. I didn’t know it but was soon enthralled. The next year we stayed standing in sanctuary until he finished. Over the years, the rest of the congregation joined us!
Every time YT recommends it, I listen no matter who plays. You, my dear, are one of the best.
How sad that this congregation did not remain seated for this magnificent postlude! Luckily, in my parish, we sit and enjoy every postlude and also to honor our organist.
Wow, how blessed you are to have a congregation that stays! 😅
I think it's a Roman Catholic cultural thing. Protestnts seem to stay and enjoy.
@@pilotusa Yes, sadly, I think you are right.
It’s a shame that congregations in too many churches consider the Postlude as a marching music! And it is a sign of disrespect to the muscisians.
What talent in a person so young. Praise Jesus.
..and all credits for mr page-turner!! Like a hawk he watches the exact moment to turn the blade!..perfect!!☺️
So young, so talented! Amazing playing...and kudos to her page turner...
Exceptionally well done, a steady pace and excellent use of this marvelous organ. There is no piece which so clearly speaks to the resurrection as this one. Thanks!
Well played thank you so much. Blessings with Easter
This is why I love TH-cam. I can see and hear great music like this. What a remarkable talent this young woman has. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS 😊
WOW ! ! ! WOW
Magnificent, absolutely magnificent ! 🇿🇦
I know that this is a difficult piece to play but this very talanted young lady played it flawlessly and beautifully. I wish her a very happy and successful career.
Very nice, young lady. Charles-Marie himself would be proud of you! Keep going, never stop learning!
Wonderful performance... Widor would have been proud and impressed with you
Unbelievable! I haven't been able to successfully play the first page of this piece now for months Lol. And my friend who is a pro has been working on the piece for over a year and he's just gotten in few pages without pedal. This is a wake up call. I should thank her for this, she's an angel
This was so beautiful. Pretty cool that such a petite young aspiring musician could flawlessly play this massive piece. I really enjoyed watching her play.. Bravo!!!!
I'm so impressed of your foot work! You Hardley look at them at all...veery good!!! Fantastic piece!!☺️🙏
God Bless her. One of my favourite compositions for organ.
Absolutely brilliant. Another of my favourites. Thanks Sarah.
Masterfully played indeed. Used to make my fingers ache when I attempted to play this many years ago.
Belle interprétation de Widor. Bravo !
I continue to be amazed, Sarah. You are so very gifted.

A wonderful, nuanced performance! So many organists rush through this piece like they have a plane to catch. You are very talented. This is a very difficult piece. Nicely done.
Wow. This is a great performance in my humble opinion, and I've heard this piece hundreds of times over the past 50 years. It sounds like a wonderful instrument, and your tempo was perfect for the setting in which you were playing. I've too often heard it played too fast in very reverberant settings, resulting in just a mashup of sound. This was very clear. Well done! Keep it up.
Absolutely magnificent! Bless her.
Well done indeed a very challenging peice of music and one demanding a lot of stamina you will go far
Wonderful to see there are other organists out there who are very passionate about their Faith.
WONDERFUL!!
Incredible! God has blessed you with a wonderful gift ❤
Oh you had to go there Sarah, The Tacada.😮. Every organist knows it, and many fear it, yet you took the challenge. If you can play it you know how it goes in your sleep. I have never played it perfect, I have heard famous organists play their own watered down versions, and never does anybody play it perfect. So don't beat yourself up over small imperfections, you did well! My best pointer is watch your tempo. Widor himself said the Tacada is not a race to demonstrate playing speed. It is meant to be a slower work where the artist strives for accuracy.
May you, and your family have a blessed Easter season.
Well done!
After hearing her beautiful playing I want to get on the bench after her and play this big pipe organ too.
Very very well played miss!!!!🤗🤗🥰🥰🙏👍👍 Beautiful!!
Beautifully played. Thank you.
AWESOME!!!! 😀
Nicely played! I’m always astonished by the variety of organ layouts.
Awesome absolutely brilliant love it
Bravo Sarah, Widor est bien servi !
Absolutely fantastic !!!
My dad ,and choir master in a church in Boston Mass ,played the organ pice,(I was the page turner,(Well Done) BRAVO
One of the best renditions I've found online! No need to apologise.... This is a difficult piece and you ACED IT! As a famous concert artist once remarked to me: «Did you have your score open? Well, then, you don't know what I left out [or flubbed!]» and even though I have the Widor pretty well memorised no «flubs» hit me until almost the end and those spots you will master as you gain confidence as a performer. A musical person experiencing such a well-played piece would never be put off by a few tiny slips! The registration and energetic tempo were perfect.
outstanding!
Thank you, a marvellous rendition, very impressive, lovely tempo!
An excellent rendition (I'm a big lover of the Widor's 5th). You will always notice little "somethings" in your playing that others don't notice (I'm a singer and notice little things I do yet others always commend me highly - that is NOT being boastful). Again, an EXCELLENT RENDITION of a very difficult piece.
Fantastic, terrifice,well done
Congratulations on 50K views! 🥳🤩😎🥳
Thank you!! 😄
@@SweetSarahnadeMusic You are most very welcome! 😘
Thank you!!🙏
Absolutely brilliant.🥰
This young lady was wonderful! I’m sure she’ll be all the more impressive as time goes on. Such a difficult piece! But my utter favourite 😊
Beautiful! My favorite organ piece. (Overlook what errors?)
Great performance, keep the videos up! :)
Absolutely wonderful Sarah. I see you're really going places now. Truly amazing, tempo, technique and registration superb! Well done.
Awesome awesome awesome!!! I loved it! I find that if you make mistakes on a piece like let it go full blast at the end. It’s a memory reset for people. I love the way you and the ending perfect registration.
A significant accomplishment. Thank you for sharing your work here.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Excellente!!! Tempo just like Widor intended...not too fast as organists are apt to play.
Félicitations c'est quasi mystique
Well young lady that was fantastic. You have a new subscriber! My one regret is it's the month of July and I'm seeing this for the 1st time.
Magnificently played!

Quite skillful. I love this piece as is one from among several favorite composers. Thanks for that presentation. Still remember your composition to the infant Mary. Nice work there also. Keep up the good work. Happy Easter and Peace. 🐇👍🕊
This is brilliant. I’ve never managed to master this. Well done
so beautiful,thanks.
Wow! What an absolutely beautiful performance of my favourite piece. Well done to both of you, the young man did a flawless job also so just a fabulous thing to watch and hear.
Great playing! Bravo!
Lovely!
Fantastic. I started a project last year to get these works re edited and typesetted, and the toccata will be a blast to do 😎 Though I plan on keeping the tempo at 100 and not higher as personally I prefer the lower weighter speeds
Great rendition! I’ve played it a few times and stumbled often and a bit too old to pull it off now. I would love to hear you play the first movement of the symphony. Well done.
Great job!
It sounds absolutely wonderful!
Bravo!!!!!
