    Toward the end, that looked like Swedesford Rd coming up on Great Valley Pres.
    Been quite awhile since I was there. Grew up on Swedesford Road, back when it was farm land. Need to go back and visit. I wonder if they still have the 1-lane underpass going up the hill into Paoli.

I want to engage while it is being installed so that I can truly learn about the components which will help me “connect” on a deeper level with my Jeep. Should I reach out to Terra Flex and show them this vid? I live in Florida. Please help, I’m so stoked. Your presentation was right on👍 GREAT job.

    Great set up, Teraflex suspension is great but only one problem is the Diesel version cant use those front shocks because the 2nd smaller battery that resides in the passenger fender is in the way of the shock reservoir,I think Teraflex will/should fix this situation with Falcon, the reservoir should be the same as the back one not in an L position.

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Being that the 3.0L diesel equipped Wranglers are also heavier than the 2.0L and 3.6L options, I'm sure Teraflex/Falcon are already busy working away at a engine-specific set for the best performance and fitment possible. -Zach

  • @justinmcc1234
    @justinmcc1234 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nice build! Would all of this be compatible on a 2021 JLUR 3.6L v6 w/etorque? does the lift kit address all possible issues with geometry issues such as caster and trackbar ect..? Also what would the average cost be for these upgrades?

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep! All of these parts would work just fine on your 2021 Rubicon! Really the only other thing I'd recommend adding with this lift kit would be an adjustable front track bar to keep your front axle centered. All featured products in this video can be found by checking out the links in our description. -Zach

  • @VideosOffRoad
    @VideosOffRoad 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    At least with the Falcon 3.3 shocks I have on my JKUR (about 1 year old) they did NOT give you 24 settings. You only get 10 settings, because the 8 on the inner adjuster wheel for fine tuning only apply when the outer lever is set to 2. Setting 1 is full soft, Setting 3 is full firm, and Setting 2 is the fine tuning adjustable setting. Are these an updated design that really give 24 settings?

    • @mcoffroadinaz4075
      @mcoffroadinaz4075 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The JLUR 3.3's are firm as bricks on the softest setting IF using a progressive spring. They seem fine on single rate spring, as designed for.

    • @VideosOffRoad
      @VideosOffRoad 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mcoffroadinaz4075 INTERESTING! I have not noticed a huge difference on the JK version I have between softest and firmest settings. There is a difference, but it's not huge. I'm pretty sure I have progressive springs as well. Thanks!

    How hard was the aux lights wiring? And how does the rubi drive with 37”? Sluggish or not?

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The wiring wasn't difficult. It was just tedious making sure all of the wires were tucked up out of the way so they couldn't get damaged. The Rubicon felt great with the 37's! The upgraded platform handled them really well. -Merideth

    What kind of steering/front end concerns might arise from running 37’s and that lift?

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since this kit comes with elongated front lower control arms, you honestly shouldn't have any steering issues once everything is installed. The only other extra parts I would recommend adding on to this kit are an adjustable track bar to keep your front axle centered and steering feeling planted, and a heavy duty steering damper like the Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 if you want to tighten up your steering more. -Zach

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What you're seeing is actually the factory tie rod and drag link! They're a bit beefier on the new JLs compared to the JK's. When running 37s you can definitely benefit from upgrading your steering linkages though! -Zach

    8:26 It is my understanding that if a synthetic winch line under load breaks it does NOT magically fall to the ground, as stated. It snaps back at either end. It's still vastly safer than steel cable, but it doesn't just fall to the ground if it breaks, so it would be best not to propagate that myth. Example: th-cam.com/video/97XqNX3yFTk/w-d-xo.html

    • @Cooldaddymon
      @Cooldaddymon 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right any rope, cable, etc with tension on it has built up energy. When it snaps the energy is dispersed. A tightly wound steel cable is going to snap more violently than a softer synthetic cable. So, yeah, it will recoil but not with the same force. It's always a good idea to use a damper.

    • @extremeterrain

      That really depends on where you live and drive your Wrangler. If you're in an area that gets a lot of road salt or brine in the winter, or if you live by the beach and your Jeep is exposed to salt often from ocean water you may want to get it under-coated. -Zach
