Today I will be reviewing the Samsung Galaxy S10e, one of the most compact flagship phones you can still buy. But 3 years after release, is it still worth it?

The S10 Series as been the best Samsung Galaxy Line so far. Headphone Jack, SD Card and Samsung Pay MST.

But does s10e have mst though? If it does i cannot believe how good samsung was fitting system that time

    • @RealWorldReview
      @RealWorldReview  ปีที่แล้ว

Kind of? If you're in the US it's unlikely, but S10 series and newer is hit or miss on information surround MST support. Exynos based phones are more likely to have MST when compared to Qualcomm processor phones. As far as I know, all S10e's support MST. However every tap to pay feature never requires MST, but that's because I'm in the US. I understand lots of countries mainly run off MST, which doesn't make sense to me because NFC tapping is super cheap nowadays.

Absolutely, it was the best ever, i got the s22plus and now i am buying the s10e again as backup. Samsung should bring back the side finger print sensor. It's faster, works better and if you break your glass in the front, as i did on my s22 then the finger print sensor will no longer work. The under glass sensor was the dumbest thing Samsung did, other than removing the sd card slot and the audio jack. But zenfone 9 brings all that back. That is the phone to get, except that they goofed and their phone only works on att. By the way the ultra wide the s10e was unparalleled, not even the s22 ultra can match it. Samsung needs to go back to the s20e and update it for their s23 or s24 mini.

Still rocking my s10 for over 3 years and its been the best , long lasting phone I've ever had! The performance is still snappy , only thing is the battery life has gotten a bit bad. Usually 4.5 hours SOT max. Still decent.

My battery replacement on my old S10e above was only $60 when I did it - about 8 months ago, and the new battery life was almost as good as when I first got it. If your phone is in decent shape, I would recommend this. Otherwise, do what I did and get a brand new S10e for $200 !!! 😂😂😂😂

Bought my S10e in 2019, and was extremely happy with it in part because IT'S NOT THE SIZE OF A LAPTOP COMPUTER !!!!!!!
What the heck is with the "bigger is better" craze ??? Why is Samsung ignoring the niche market of the "smaller is better" consumers ?? Uuuufffff.......
In any event, after going through 2 new screens and a new battery on my old S10e, it was time for a new phone and I am very happy with my choice which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to previous S10e owners:

Wireless charge, I use to save port. Ok so basic cameras, but ok for what I do. Nice and small fits in my pocket. Your video looks amazing quality. I don't like the fingerprint scanner, can take lots of stabs to get it working. I normally keep my phone for 5 years, don't care about android versions, so hope it lasts.

5.8-6.1 inches are what most people are comfortable with, like the standard s22 and standard iphone 14 as popular examples, in all honesty normal hand sized people that go for the plus to behemoth models is because of this more is better mentality when really only upside is battery and performance at the expense of actually handling the actual phone. The s10e is perfect imho add to the cherry on top the fingerprint sensor that helps with the swiping down notifications, i believe a phones aspect ratio should be 19-19.5:9 not any higher cuz 20:9 is just pushing it and if you notice the s22 is now 19.5:9 and is a lot nearer to the s10e size. A width of about 70-72mm is perfect, wide enough to type comfortably(even factoring in the use if a case) while also actually being handleable.

I have Zenfone 8 , nice looking 5.9 inch fhd+ 120hz ..also with the latest and greatest Snapdragon888 , but you don't feel a big difference between this and Samsung's s10... I switched to S10e ! .. because it has a lot of variation between cases accessories..the AsusZen8 don't have, it's maybe 🤔 10 accessories (including cases&glass) on the world wide market...I checked by myself.. Samsung otherwise has 100s of phone cases and accessories Plus+ the very quick fingerprint sensor on the side..and not on screen..For my opinion Samsung s10e is working more properly and the best choice to enter the compact phone 🤳 Cliq 😉.

Between the great compactness and inclusion of a headphone jack and expandable storage, this is definitely up there with being one of the phones to go for when switching to android. Right up there with the Pixel 5.

I had the Galaxy A10e which recently broke and got persuaded by the salesman in getting the T-Mobile REVVL 6 5g for the price and being the newest phone on the market not realizing that it is long and bulky for my hands and convenience. Is it worth getting the Galaxy s10e now that we are nearing end of 2022 or live with the REVVL 6 5g?

    • @RealWorldReview

In every way besides software (maybe, because they’re already at android 12, and doubt revvl phones get updated much), battery life(maybe), and 5G, the S10e is better. Make in an S10, even better. Screen size is larger on the 6, but it’s LCD

the hush hush the S10 minin a fantastic smartfone & 60 refresh rate doesn't drain the battery unlike Apple iPhone 13 with 120 Sam panel SCREEN that's why Apple dim downs the 120 refresh rate as well as 5G otherwise both would drain the battery 🔋.

I have a S10 e its a great phone eze to use & i love the finger print on side
but the support life for Samsung phones is ever so bad only 3 years of android os updates
Samsung Galaxy S10e 128GB is $699 AUD new March 8, 2019 & no more android
    while a Iphone XR128GB for $1,299 AUD new 12 September 2018
iPhone XR Yes - Until 2025
I truly think Samsung is a better phone
but value for money and long life in OS updates
i think Iphone has the game
so i have saying this for a long time now
Samsung pick up the game & take it to them

The only thing that really shows any "age" about it is its 4G antenna.
Otherwise, if you get these used for $150-$200 you basically got a phone that's faster and more feature packed than current A5x models.

It depends on the aspect ratio.
      A 5.1 inch 16:9 phone (Galaxy S6, S7) is the equivalent of a 6.1 inch 19.5:9 phone screen (Galaxy S22, S23) dimension wise.
In this case, the S10e’s 5.8 inch screen is the equivalent of a 5 inch 16:9 screen (Galaxy S4, OnePlus X, Nexus 5)
A 5.5 inch 16:9 phone (iPhone 8 plus) is the equivalent of a 6.46 inch 19.5:9 phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max).
Screens have gotten bigger, but the physical dimensions of most phones haven’t in the past 5-7 years.
