      @@preston8872 If you live in a country where Google sells pixel phones, go for any Pixel that is in your budget. Other option could be old iPhones, like Xr or 11. And lastly, if you like Samsung phones, make sure it has a Sanapdragon and not Exynos as the cpu, maybe a S21 is a good option, but personally i don't like them. Another tip is, buy refurbished phones, they'll save you a lot of money and in most case these phones works pretty well, like a new one.

      @@gabrielortega7 I live in the USA, this is my 3rd Samsung phone i've had and I don't really like it, I'm looking to possibly try a new brand. If I got a Pixel it would have to be unlocked, I used to have a Motorola G7 Power, so I could consider another Motorola. I've never used a Xiaomi or OnePlus before so I could consider those 2 as well.

    To be honest, I feel we've hit peak at the smart phone market. I'm annoyed to see new phones being overpriced, not containing major essential features and now not including important accessories in the box like the charger. With the exception of not having a case in the package or headphones, I miss those times. Back then it just means that I have to buy less accessories and I had more options that I can do on the hardware of the phone (eg: more audio options, or more alternative ways to store data/photos/videos/files via micro SD, or USB OTG and not being forced to use and pay more monthly for cloud storage).
    Unfortunately, getting an expensive phone with less of those features and essentials, their only selling point is later future software upgrades, which will suffer the same fate eventually as its predecessors.
    When the time to get a "new" phone comes, I am most likely to go shopping for an older model with all those hardware functions. I still have accessories for such that still work and I refuse to contribute to the e-waste problem. Also, getting an older phone that is still repairable is one of my big needs -- because now big corporations like Apple and even Samsung with their latest devices are making simple and affordable repairs like a screen or battery replacement more complicated and expensive.

    A very special phone. So special that it contains features that newer flagships don't have like headphone jack, MST, microsd slot, etc. Still using it to this day and dreading the day when looking for a new phone. Truly wish Samsung makes a special rerelease like a s23e. Would be willing to pay a grand for such a phone tbh.

      @@Chaotist Apologies for late response (wasn't on this account for a long time). In case you still don't know, MST is magnetic secured transmission. It's a neat trick of the s10e that can mimic the magnetic stripe of a credit card and was very handy to use on ancient credit card terminals that don't have contactless technology. It's now pretty much redundant these days, but still a nice thing to have.

    I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S10e for about 2 years. I'm not much of a game player and my phone lasts most of the day. Around 3pm I will charge it for about 30 to 45 minutes and it lasts until bedtime. I love the screen and the speakers are really good. By far my favorite phone, especially for the price! Thanks for the review!

    I get through the day with this phone, but I feel like I'm constantly holding myself from using it too much. The phone is absolutely amazing, but the battery doesn't allow it to be used at full potential. For the price though, you get tons of premium features that are not present on the budget/mid-range phones, as well as an amazing build quality.
    I'd honestly pay for the official Android updates (imagine if it was 2-3 years free and you could upgrade it further by paying), would actually help the environment by making phones last longer (vs. removing the charger from the box and selling it in a separate one). But either way, Android 12 will last for years, most apps still support Android 5 or 6.

      @JmasTheKilla215 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @MrGarryGrey
      @MrGarryGrey ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@JmasTheKilla215 I definitely wouldn't call S10 generation old, 7-8nm CPU is pretty decent in terms of power efficiency (7nm for the Snapdragon model, 8nm for the Exynos one). There just isn't much space for a bigger battery. The biggest trade off with compact phones. My mom's A10 is pretty slow, but it can stream Spotify for 12 hours straight and would only use 35% battery. That's just insane. My S10e would use 35% in just 3 hours of streaming music.

    I just wanted to drop by and say out of all the phone channels I watch yours is probably my favorite. You time after time demonstrate and prove there is ZERO reason to be upgrading your phone every year or 2. You show these old flagships do almost just as well as the new ones. Cheers 🍻 to you young man. I'm keeping my Note 20 Ultra at least another year or 2. S24 or 25 Ultra will be the soonest I "upgrade" this thing. There's no reason to drop over a thousand dollars every year or 2. These people think they're getting something special doing that. The only thing special they're getting is ripped off. 😆 Keep up the great work. This channel is Great.
