Schumann - Cello concerto in A minor, Op. 129 Live from Lille - Le Nouveau Siècle | 30/08/2020 Bruno Philippe, Fabien Gabel, Orchestre Français des Jeunes.
i love how foot shuffles for applause in band is a universal thing, as well as the applause being normal, then suddenly it becomes rhythmic and everyone does it
I love to watch him play, struggle, trance, feel, convey, concentrate, resist and accept the music. The same with Alexander Malofeev on the piano for instance.
Thank you so much Bruno, I really really enjoyed watching you playing with such passion and sensitivity too. You have really really got the music 🎶 running right through you. You were Magnificent and Brilliant Too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Such a fabulous talent and not an easy concerto to put across. Have to say that as important as the Italian cello Mr. Philippe plays is, in my opinion, it's a bit mono-chromatic as a solo instrument. When played at forte and beyond, the color remains quite unchangeable. It might be the strings too,

I love that musical connection between the Bruno and the cellist on the right side of the conductor. WHY IS IT SO PERFECT

This requires a great bow technique and a great left hand and he certainly has it.
